Storm is back, they won their season opener last Friday night over the Georgia Force. The Force is also owned by Arthur Blank.

OK, the Storm is currently 6-6, still in the thick of the playoff chase in the AFL.
But that is about as much as I know. They are so hard to follow. They are playing games all over the week, anywhere from Friday to Monday. Local coverage is almost non-existant. I'll try to keep up.

Georgia 56, Tampa Bay 55

Buzz Up PrintATLANTA (TICKER) —Chris Greisen threw four touchdown passes and rushed for a score in the final seconds as the Georgia Force erased a 13-point, fourth-quarter deficit and escaped with a 56-55 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm on Saturday.
Greisen, who completed 31-of-39 passes for 286 yards, ran in over the right side as time expired and Carlos Martinez kicked the extra point to give the Force the win.
Georgia (8-5) trailed, 41-28, entering the fourth quarter. Matt Huebner ran for three scores - two of which came during the big comeback - with the last cutting the deficit to 55-49 with 1:34 left.
Torrance Marshall ran for four TDs and Brett Dietz completed 20-of-29 passes for 222 yards and four scores for Tampa Bay (6-7).

Don't know why but I just can't get enthused with the Arena Football but always glad to hear that they win...for the sake of all the Tampa Bay area fans!!
