Some might disagree with me on this, but I have decided to allow the ETE's who have been laid-off to continue to be members on this Unofficial UAW 1268 Forum as long as they like.

Why?

I feel bad the way the company has treated them.  If the company knew they were not going to hire any of them in fulltime, don't act like you might which causes them to quit their current jobs to try and make more money for their family! Evil or Very Mad

If the ETE's still care enough to visit this site and still follow the rules, they are always welcome. Once a brother/sister, always a brother/sister.  Cool

Why would anyone disagree?!?  I think it's a great idea.

@ JPaint - I said some might disagree because like you said in a previous thread, ETE's do not get laid-off they get terminated and therefore are nolonger UAW 1268 members. A rule of the board is you need to be a UAW 1268 member and I just assumed someone would question the ETE's membership status. I thought I'd make a decision before asked.
