I was told by our Union steward that the 18th was one shift only, and that it was 3rd shift.  Can anyone verify this?  I was also told by the committeeman that the shift that would be working was still up in the air, but that it was only going to be one shift.

November 18th has been cut to one shift and the shift to work will be 3rd shift.

that is confirmed.

the fine print.....

although this IS confirmed, nothing is set in stone. things could change with break downs, parts shortages, supplier issues, weather, etc.

That figures.  I just started 3rd shift a week ago!  It would've been nice to have an extra Saturday off...   Wink

There has been lots of talk on the reason behind why only 3rd shift is working Saturday November 18.  The reason I heard, and it seems to make sence, is that nobody deer hunts in the dark. I understand deer hunting season kicks off that weekend and the attendance would be so poor for 1st & 2nd shift it would be too much trouble to run.

Laughing  Can anyone confirm the reason behind only one shift working?
