| I am not quite understanding why they had to stop the direct deposit before giving us our last check, anyone care to try and figure this one out? |

| Because we are not a Chrysler employee anymore, and therefore don't have access to dashboard, so there is no way to find out what our last paycheck is. |

| I hope everyone had their correct address listed in dashboard. You should have your checks Saturday, no later than Monday. |

Thanks, address is correct, and no i am not 1 of those bitter people, but when they told me to work i didn't come 2 days late! I believe the checks should have been mailed so we all had them on Friday.
And while mentioning bitter people........so many on here, i really don't quite get how that is helping anyone to be so angry.......i have family in Chrysler and had a sis at GM. really people.....if getting hired in at a place like this seems to good to be true than it is.
I for 1 am not wishing anything bad like bankruptcy or cutting anymore jobs, realistically big corps like this just don't hire in a bunch like they did for permanent positions. I am not happy with the way things turned out but i will not sit and bad mouth the company nor would i have left a job even close to 20.00 an hour to chance this at Chrysler, in the real world we all read papers, watch news, we should have seen what was going on in car companys and knew this was a big gamble.........would i return if called???????? Well unsure depends on what i find elsewhere. One should never count on security at an auto company, unless you in repo business |

The official 2 page letter we all got last Friday 3/7 clearly stated "final paycheck will be mailed to your address of record". I don't like waiting the extra couple days either, but this shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. They ALWAYS process and release checks on Thursdays so I would guess they got mailed yesterday afternoon and like was already mentioned, most should see them by Saturday or Monday at the latest.
Hope this is the case for everyone and that no one has to go through any hassles and "fight" for their last check. There's no way they were going to allow all of us back on the grounds to pick them up in person yesterday so this is how they handle it. |

| Most people that live even remotely close to the plant should have their checks in today's mail. I don't see any reason that it should take until Monday for anyone to get their paycheck, but we are talking about snail mail, so who knows. I know that mine got here today and is already in the bank!!! |

| Got 2 different mailings today on the Cobra/Insurance info but no payroll check. Probably tomorrow. With snail mail it will depend how close you live to the plant. |

Hey catnip, this is a bit off subject but you seem to know whats up, so have you heard if we are getting any of the vacation pay?
The 3rd shift trim alternate steward was telling us that union was fighting for us to get the pay, but in the past he has also told us some way out there B.S. too..........I hope the union doesn't fight the same way they fought to get is hired in |

| I seriously doubt that we would get any vaca pay. If I remember right it says something in the contract about May 1 to May 1, and since we are done now, that would knock us out of the running for anything like that. Keep in mind that I am just going on memory, so maybe ask someone that has access to that information directly. Brian or Tony could possibly have an answer for you. Sorry I couldn't be more help. |
