I've locked this thread/post so it will stay at the top. Please add the names of the candidates and spot they are running for to this thread. When the election is over, I'll post results here.

Dates of interest found off the postcard received in the mail from UAW local 1268 Recording Secretary, Arleen Kelley:

All Local Union Executive Board Officers
(Retirees and Units 3 through 8 are to vote for Executive Board Officers Only)

Date: April 21 - April 25, 2008
Place: UAW Local 1268 Hall
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day

Be sure to check your current district, because of the change in the plant  population redistricting has been necessary. Also 1st shift now has 4 Stewards total, causing the committeeperson to act as Steward in their respective districts as needed.

I received changes to the original list (from Mary on the Election committee) that was handed out at the Union meeting . Since the list above is a copy of what was handed out to everyone at the April Union meeting, I'll note the changes to be made here. Mary said a new listing with the changes should be posted in the plant today.
