no show= a day away from the constant, boring, stressfull, bullshit we
take from work 55 hrs a week. The last thing I want to do on my one and
only day away from the plant is sit and listen to people from the plant
stand and complain about the plant. Just my opinion. |

Maybe if you attend you could have a voice /vote on the highlighted issues above. We can educate the members on proper order and order of business to make these meetings more productive and effective for all.
Just my thought.

It's simple, have union meetings on a weekday after work but our "voice" has asked for that in the past and the union said no.
So plain and simple I don't want to sit and think and talk about work
the only day away from work. |

Remember the candidates on the campaign trail saying that they will work this meeting issue out? If this is a concern you have, now is the time to bring it to the new leadership. If you do not have the balls to bring issues forth and stand up than maybe it would help if you were there to stand behind and support the Brother who will bring these issues to the floor for You. So plain and simple if you dont care to attend we can assume that all of quintons problems have been solved.

new union, old union, bla, bla, bla, none of them are strong enough to wring out a wet wash cloth. I have nothing past a high school diploma
and I live like someone that has a masters degree or better so I'm content with my job. It's you that is never satisfied, and for balls.....
tread carefully don't call me out!!!! It's you're boring droning that I don't
care to hear on my only day off a week. I'm actually glad someone cares enough (or just has nothing better to do) on their day off than
try to make change at work. But.... C.M., with all your union bussiness
complaining who has really listened and helped you make change!!!!
With all your work (and thanks for trying) no change.
But be carefull who you insult, and from now on I too will not insult you,
because I respect you, because at least you try. |

quinton: I will have to respectfully call this a draw. And not because I have no more to say to a screenname.
Also in 18 years when you cash in your 2.7 million dollar Chrysler nest egg and get your RV to cruise across America without a care in the world, if you see a 30 foot tall chicken standing next a BBQ Ranch Restaurant somewhere on Route 66 in the Arizona Desert, just smile and wave.
Keep the water jug full for all to enjoy,
