Could you post a separate section for political endorsements? That could come in handy for UAW, as well as community, state, and federal elections.
I don’t want to deny anyone there freedom of speech. Personally, I am a right wing conservative on moral issue. Because of that, I usually vote Republican. If a Democratic candidate was farther to the right, I would vote for him/her. My loyalty belongs to God and not any political party. Some people say to “vote your wallet.” I agree with my Pastor who says, “Vote moral values and let God take care of your wallet.”
As far to the right as I am; I know God is still farther to the right. I will list a few verses to prove my point; quoted from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible, which is not bound by copyright laws
Psalms 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Did you ever wonder why the majority of right wing conservatives are proud to admit it; but the majority of left wing liberals claim to be moderates? Maybe it is because God says:
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Ezekiel 21:16 Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
Pastor, a current BAP (FT employee) says the word BIBLE is an acronym for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Don’t let anyone tell you not to read the “fine print” of an “eternal contract.”
God does not want a bunch of robots. He gave us the choice to:
• Serve Him or not…Joshua 24:15b “choose you this day whom ye will serve”
• Heaven or hell… Revelation 20:12-15 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Are you ready?

granny we use to have a political section on the forums not sure why brian took it down but maybe we can get him to put it back up. it look like you and ron paul have the same moral values. you really need to look into this guy take some time and watch the short video clips i post of past debates and info about him.
ron paul is the only honest man running for president. everyone on here needs to do them selfs a favor and find out what the council on foreign relations is and whos its members are. i think most everyone will be shocked when they find out what our politicians are up too. the cfr is behind the north american union, nafta, gatt, china trade act, wto, cafta and a few others nasty treaties that are gutting american job.
the truth will set you free. |

I have listened to some of the debates. I agree with Ron Paul on some issues; but his pacifist attitude makes me want to pass a fist. Yes, I do intend to vote in the primaries. But, I will continue researching until I find the candidate with the closest views to what the Bible says.
Hebrews 12:4 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
There are some things worth fighting for. At the top of my list are faith, family, my country, and freedom. No matter what any one wants to believe; jihad extremists want to force their religion on the world. Haven’t you noticed that the ones captured that are let go had to “convert” to their religion or die? I’d rather die; because Jesus said in Matthew 10:33 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
The world is to dangerous to vote for a pacifist. |

In an attempt to simplify the board, I eliminated the politics section.
The Welcome/Off Topic section seems to be working fine so far for many different posts including the politics posts. I'm fine with OldSchool sharing his Ron Paul view/videos all in the same thread once a day or so.
For the record, I'm born again Christian and the verse I like best is Proverbs 26:11
I also enjoy going to http://www.audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html |

why would our troops send more money to ron paul then anyone else if he was a pacifist?
ron paul is a christian and is pro life, also he is far from a pacifist. i think you might be misunderstanding his message. the world is a dangerous for america because of the actions of our government not because we are free or that we are christians. whens that last time you seen a jihad extremists over here forcing people to convert?
you said "At the top of my list are faith, family, my country, and freedom." that list looks 100% like ron pauls list. he wants to bring our government back under 100% constitutional law. our freedom derives from god not the government and the constitution guarantees that freedom.
he wants to defend our borders so no more illegals or terrorist can get in.
he wants to bring america back under the gold/silver standard.
he wants to eliminate the unconstitutional federal reserve.
he wants to eliminate unconstitutional irs and federal income tax.
he wants to protect the american worker and eliminate nafta, gatt, wto, cafta, the china trade agreement and the other treaties that have gutting american jobs.
he wants to give us a balanced budget and eliminate government debt.
every thing on that list and its not the entire list will help keep you country safe, free and is in the best interest of your family. would you once like to vote for someone not because he was the lesser of two EVILS, i sure know i would!
one last thing you need to check out the hate crimes bill that the democrats are trying to pass and what it means for your faith and religion. |

So called free trade deals and world governmental organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a threat to our independence as a nation. They transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.
The ICC wants to try our soldiers as war criminals. Both the WTO and CAFTA could force Americans to get a doctor’s prescription to take herbs and vitamins. Alternative treatments could be banned.
The WTO has forced Congress to change our laws, yet we still face trade wars. Today, France is threatening to have U.S. goods taxed throughout Europe. If anything, the WTO makes trade relations worse by giving foreign competitors a new way to attack U.S. jobs.
NAFTA’s superhighway is just one part of a plan to erase the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, called the North American Union. This spawn of powerful special interests, would create a single nation out of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system. Forget about controlling immigration under this scheme.
And a free America, with limited, constitutional government, would be gone forever.
Let’s not forget the UN. It wants to impose a direct tax on us. I successfully fought this move in Congress last year, but if we are going to stop ongoing attempts of this world government body to tax us, we will need leadership from the White House.
We must withdraw from any organizations and trade deals that infringe upon the freedom and independence of the United States of America.

My biggest issue with Ron Paul is his comment about America not being attacked on Sept. 11th. Beloit had a local surgeon in NY at the time. He stayed as long as he could to help those that were attacked. America was just as much attacked on 9/11 as we were at Pearl Harbor. What makes it even worse is we supplied the ammo. (American airplanes) The enemy doesn’t care how many civilian deaths there are here or in their own countries. Yet, we expect our military to fight a politically correct war with as few civilian deaths as possible. I heard someone comment that the war would have been over in a hurry if our military could have nuked the enemy until they glowed and then shoot them in the dark.
I will remain undecided for quite a while and continue researching until someone really impresses me. I want to make an informed vote. |

I made a mistake. Ron Paul didn’t say we weren’t attacked. He blamed America for the attack. My memory is not as good as it used to be. (Those senior moments you know) Here’s what I found
“Video: Rudy blasts Ron Paul’s apology for 9/11” http://hotair.com/archives/2007/05/15/video-rudy-blasts-ron-pauls-apology-for-911/
This link has something that was on The Big Story with John Gibson on FOXNEWS
”Rudy Giuliani Squares Off With Rep. Ron Paul Over 9/11 at GOP Debate” http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273343,00.html
If OldSchool has a better videolink feel free to edit my comment and use that link
Brian, I suspected you are a Christian by your email address. |

i would like to see where ron paul said that because i have never seen him say that, i have only seen him say why they attacked us. he said the reason they attack us is because we are over there, we have been bombing them for 10 years. |

I have always enjoyed reading. I read more than watch videos. Did you read the comments at the foxnews site? I wonder if the” list of books” includes the left wing stuff.

GIBSON: And that was Republican vs. Republican. According to a recent Rasmussen Report poll, 35 percent of Democrats think President Bush knew about the 9/11 attacks beforehand. The so-called 9/11 Truth Movement has already infected people like Rosie O'Donnell and one in three Democrats, and many other people, Americans evidently, including Congressman Ron Paul. With me now is FOX News contributor and syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin.
So, Michelle, this stuns me. It wouldn't have stunned me had it come up in the Democratic debate, but it's a jaw-dropper to see it in the Republican debate.
MICHELLE MALKIN, SYNDICATED COLUMNIST: It is and it doesn't belong here. And I'm glad that this moment provided great TV for FOX News — it was a very instructive exchange — but Ron Paul really has no business being on stage as a legitimate representative of Republicans, because the 9/11 truth virus is something that infects only a very small proportion of people that would identify themselves as conservative or Republican. And as you say, John, this is far more prevalent, this strain of 9/11 truth virus, on the left, and in much of the mainstream of the Democratic Party as that Rasmussen poll showed.

Have you read any of the info at the www.newsmax.com site concerning the Iraq war? I know I read more before either of these stories came out; but can’t seem to find the link I wanted. Maybe someday I'll look through some of my old stuff and see if I can find it.
