Thanks Cindy!

Although I couldn't find anything in the news with the results I called their hall at 636-343-6666 and there is a recording that gives the results.  IT'S AN OFFICIAL  "NO" VOTE!  Cool

Edit - Here is a news link to the results:

Sorry Brian you had to call! I didn't have time earlier!

Seems like local papers in each area are on top of most results.

Those from Missouri don't follow National Union Reps like sheep to the slaughter.
Quote:
As Chrysler workers from the local minivan plant arrived today at their union hall to vote on a proposed national labor contract, they showed little surprise that workers at an adjacent pickup plant had already rejected the same contract.
On Thursday, members of UAW Local 136, which represents about 2,000 workers at Chrysler’s North Assembly plant, voted against the contract by a ratio of about 4 to 1.
“I’m not saying we have a negative attitude toward contracts, but this is Missouri — you’ve got to show me,” said Jerry Dennison, president of United Auto Workers Union Local 136, when he announced the results late Thursday night.

Did you catch that?  4 to 1; Wow!  James Scott sure did his part to help get the message out for his Local 136.

These results are true as posted.  We were very fortunate that our membership at the minivan plant were well informed with information including what was going on in the unpublished book of letters and the open ended letters to be filled in later , like the non-core jobs to be decided within 190 days AFTER ratification. And we were told that the non-core jobs were to be determined in a plant by plant basis.  Not to mention the cola deductions running to infinity.
For those who haven"t voted yet, please read the fine print and look at what they are not telling you! It was very refreshing to see that someone on the barbaning committee was watching the interest of the members.
