My wife just bought a Wii game system for the kids for Christmas. All 6 of our kids (3 months - 11 yrs.) spent last night at my in-laws house so my wife and I opened the box and played it. We had to make sure it worked correctly didn't we?
It's GREAT! I can't wait for Christmas so I can play this again, only this time with the kids. The boxing game that came with the system is quite a workout and I'd have no problem with the kids playing that all day. The bowling game that came with the system is so life like, I could careless if I ever bowl for real again.
I DID NOT get any video of us playing it, but of course I found video on YouTube that shows someone else playing it.
Congrats on your wii purchase, we have one too. It just makes me nervous when my husband was bowling, I swear he just about took our tv out!!!!! STAND FAR AWAY FROM THE TV!! LOL
We've got one too! I stood in line for mine last November. The most fun I've had with it was watching my 4 year old niece and my 2 year old nephew playing Boxing. I also have a video of my Dad and I playing bowling. He got really close to my tv on several occasions. Make sure you wear your wrist strap!
LOL, i played god knows how many games of bowling on wii at a friends' place while drinkin, then at work the next night, i had to think "Why the hell is my shoulder and hip hurting so bad?!"
I just bought one also for my kids let my 17 year old niece in NY try it infront of her grandfather and father boy were they nervous she was goingto lose the controller
JPaint - That video/line is CRAZY, just to play the Wii last year. Now this year the lines are like that to buy one.
I just received my (3) FREE game controller sleeves from Nintendo, just in time for Christmas. I've tried over and over again to get my wife to let me give the Wii to the kids before Christmas but it looks like I have to wait until Christmas to play with them.
We have several digital cameras and they eat AA batteries. I save the AA batteries when the cameras are done with them, because they still have enough charge to run the Wii controllers, mp3 players and portable CD plays of the kids.
I remember hearing about this last year and I thought I'd share with everyone. I'm sorry if it might make you sad, but she's worth remembering and how it happened.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A woman who competed in a radio station’s contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner’s office said Saturday.
Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.
“She said to one of our supervisors that she was on her way home and her head was hurting her real bad,” said Laura Rios, one of Strange’s co-workers at Radiological Associates of Sacramento. “She was crying and that was the last that anyone had heard from her.”
