It seems that us retirees are getting screwed worse than we originally thought. Got my new Medical Mutual cards today. After being in a PPO for quite a few years I get dumped into a "Traditional" plan. Seems there is no PPO or HMO options in Northeast Ohio. So not only am I making a co-pay for my coverage, I'm also paying 100% of my office visits.
I happen to have a pretty serious eye problem that requires weekly office visits when the eye flares up. That can get quite costly.
Is there a cap on "out of pocket" expenses? Or will I be paying all year long?
Seems that there is HMO coverage in parts of Michigan and Janesville. Wi., but not in Ohio.
And this is under GM administration? I wonder what will happen when the UAW takes over? I'm scared.

Those of us in Illinois area have been dealing with this for quite awhile. I'll be glad when that raise hits the checks to help a little with the extra medical bills. We're way behind from previous bills. Any clue if we can get medical savings plans going |
