ETEs who are laid-off, separated, let go, fired, terminated - whatever! need to go to the UAW Hall and put your name on the form we have with your hire date, corporate service date (i.e. 6.19.2006), your termination date, phone and address.
if there's any legal ruling in the future that may affect you, we'll need this information. |

Do we still need to do this when we get laid off next week or was this just in case something came about legally? I haven't heard if there is anything we should do this time so any information would help. Thanks!  |

The union would simply like to have your info because if there are any grievances in arbitration that involve money or other settlements involving money, you may be entitled to some |

Just called the Union Hall to verify my personal information... they said they do not have a "sheet" to fill in, but ETEs can call to verify that what they have in the computer is up to date. The lady on the phone said that just because people may have updated phone numbers and addresses with HR does not mean the Union has the updated info.
