| Well Brian for your information I was not on S&A or on a PQX, on Wensday the 14th I reported to work and was told by my GL to report to HR for my Vtep papers. I don't know how they decided to let me go but I know for sure I was not out of work on S&A or on a PQX, but what gots me guessing is about my last pay check, I set it up to have my vacation pay to be paid to me on May 23, well the company will still direct deposit my vacation pay but will mail my last check, now is that messed up or is it just me. Now would anyone know if I could go into payroll on Thursday to pick up my last check before it gets mailed? Well thanks to everyone that has helped me out in the past at BAP and at the Union thank you all. |

| I am one of the waiting VTEPs. I was told that my last day would be Saturday, if my replacement was trained by then. The union left it up to management to let me know sometime Saturday if that was my last day or not. I had to call the supervisor over to find out that I was on the schedule for Monday. So from what I was told it is set that all will be gone by June 6, but the exact date is dependant on your job being covered. |

I said mostly, not all! I'm not trying to offend anyone here, I'm simply passing the information I have. Thank you for your post and everyone else that has added to this information about the Vteps.

this is off topic but it is funny how they all of a sudden care if your replacement is trained but they did not care if we were trained when we went to two shifts.
also to ny transfer, if i remember correctly your vacation check is cut the first week of may but not paid until may 23rd this could be why the vacation check is direct deposit and your last check will be mailed. as far as being able to come and get it, it may not come to the plant, it may be mailed to you from auburn hills seeing as you are no longer "employed by Chrysler". Anyhow since you were one of the lucky ones that were able to take the buyout good luck and don't look back. |
