I've installed the shoutbox (a type of live chat box) and karma (a type of thank you button) to the board. Both only work for registered users, enjoy!  Cool

No problem...

At the bottom of the forums page, found here:

http://www.freepowerboards.com/uaw1268/index.php

You see the SHOUTBOX. Registered users can simply enter text in the spot just above the SHOUTBOX window and hit enter.

You text will show up to be seen by all who look.

I hope that helps.    Cool

P.S. - I updated the SHOUTBOX so it will erase any post over 24 hrs. old. I think leaving it up for 24 hrs. is good enough. It's not a blog, just a SHOUT out to people that care enough to stop in and peek at it while viewing the forum.

Since the shout box was not really being used, I uninstalled it.

I reviewed the KARMA feature tonight and clearly users have abused this feature due to the abuse. I decided to remove this feature, because some people can't control their actions when MAD! Crying or Very sad
