We recently received a sheet that said:

HUMANA INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS

Where: UNION HALL

When: Monday November 10, 2008

Time: 9am, 1pm & 3pm

It said nothing about any sign-up during these meetings, only informational. I think I remember seeing the sign-up start date on the 14th and I think I remember reading that sign-up paperwork will be mailed to us in Illinois. I also think I remember January 1st being the day the new insurance starts if you already signed up.

I never attended the meeting, because I already made up my mind. In fact, I just signed-up online through dashboard and BenefitExpress. If your interested, don't miss the signup window, because I understand you only have until the end of November to signup. The new insurance will start January 1st. As for your new medical cards:

Did You Know?

It normally takes 4 to 6 weeks from your enrollment before you'll receive your ID card. If you require medical services and need to verify your coverage, your plan will have your enrollment on file within 2 weeks after you enroll. If you don't receive your ID card or aren't sure if you'll receive one, see Health Plan ID Cards to learn what to do.
