Hello to you all, don't worry ladies of the world I AM still alive contrary to popular news items. Razz

I still only have a PS2 but am working hard towards getting a PS3, still having a little get together with my mates on a thursday night where i get a little play on XBOX 360 and PS3.

Playing a little less X as the PS3 gets more games though, absolutely loving F1 on ps3 and getting more and more into Resistence FOM.
I did have a play on FORZA the other day but just seemed so slow after a few high speed laps on F1.

I have mostly been playing F1 on the PS2 as well, might explain why i can beat both my PS3 owning friends on their version of the game hahahaha sorry lads hee hee.
My son keeps nicking my copy of BFMC so I haven't been on there in ages sorry ERICA n ACE I will return soon,promise.
Also been playing a bit of AREA 51 which is ok.
Does anyone know if Fireblade still has TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED I put it on every so often but I haven't ever seen him on there????

My biggest problem at the moment is that my PS2 is dying a death, to get a game to load up now i have to keep opening and closing the drawer until it reads the disk, usually not too bad buthas been known to take tem minutes on occasions what a drag.... that's why I trying desperately to persuade the missus that it is worth 0% credit to get the PS3, i just know that one day soon the PS2 is going to say NO! PISS OFF I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!

Enough from me i think, better get some work done here i suppose.

P.S feeling very lonely on the PS2 these days, I still look back to those good ol days of BFMC when we ruled the joint!!!!

my old ps2 used to take ages to read a game.Try opening it up and giving it a spring clean,it worked for me.Alas,it will die on you and then the choice will have to be made,ps3 or xbox 360?

Yeah i have to say mine also died of old age but i found away to bring it back from the dead when it was really knackered. I would switch it on and put the hoover on the fan at the back it seemed to kick start the motor. Might be a handy trick if you ever get to the stage of not reading any discs what so ever.

cheers guys I will try those ideas, I do usually hoover the vents front and back but that now seems to be helping less and less.

hi guys just thought i would post up as i haven't done for ages.

My ps3 arrived on saturday so no more crappy glitchy laggy bfmc for me.

if anyone gets a ps3 my handle is GAM54, i have also gone back to my old clan at ARSGAMING.COM but of course i'm happy to have as many friends as poss so please add me if you upgrade to ps3 or come to the dark side from the persil white xbox.

also have you all seen t0et0e's new place in canada??? Confused

Hi Gam.I know Funky as a ps3 so I will presume he will contact you when he reads this.I nearly got one this weekend from Woolies at £375 but resisted the temptation lool.I'm waiting to see if Santa will bring my lads one for Xmas.lool.Speak soon.

Yeah i have a PS3 but i am still not convinced it was a good buy. My girlfriend is enjoying resistance and motorstorm. gonna rent a few games and give it another chance but guitar hero keeps pulling me back on to XBox 360. It is highly addictive. Sorry guys i have not been online on 360 but i was abdupted by aliens after playing Free Bird. ( Angel and Princess may know what thats all about) will try and not rock out tonight. My PS3 gamer tag is aUK_Dafunk. No headset as of yet and they are the only 2 games i have for it. Hope to see you on there soon

have you played warhawk yet, i played it at a mates house last nite and its pretty freakin awesome.

well worth the 20 quid from ps store.

it is coming to the shops in a couple of weeks bundled with a bluetooth headset but it is 40 quid although apparently the headset is worth slightly more than the 20quid added to the game price!!
