This chapter gave an indepth study of why parents and children that are both acquiring english write at home. many parents and children wrote at home for different reasons. Most second language parents want to be involved in their children's lives, but they do not know how. The more we as teachers involve them and their children in activities such as writing at home, they will become more confident and have a purpose in learning both in and out of school.
