I have the utmost respect for our Declaration of Independence. I have copies of the final, as well the draft, with all the deletions and additions.

Yes, Thomas Jefferson was and is credited with the austere writing of this document. But he did have some help. Remember folks, those who signed the DoI, were signing their own death warrant; as it was treason against Great Britian, and the Crown, at the time. I s'pose the 'signers' wanted to get it right, huh?
Much of the Grievences outlined and enumerrated in the DoI were aimed at King George. But were the Acts of the Parliment, which oppressed the colonists, really the doing of King George? I think not.
So, while this may appear to be a slight against our Founders, and specifically Thomas Jefferson, as this developes I think you will see just where I'm coming from, proof of my support for the opening sentence, and somewhere down the line I'll tie this together with how I think this will help the Militia.
