I am new to the idea of joining a militia and was looking for one in Florida. I live in the north Florida area around Jacksonville. I have found that there was a Militia of Florida but their web site isn't up and running and the contact info they had didn't help. I don't know enough about it to start one on my own without it being a joke. I would like to join a serious, responsible group with good leadership that is well trained. If anyone knows anyone in Florida that is involved please pass on any information you have. (with their permission ofcourse)
