Barack Obama professes to be a Christian. Yet, as a public figure he wants to be president and only donates about 6 percent of his income to charity. We already know about Obama's ties to the Rev. Wright and how racist Wright is. But, let's forget about that for a moment. Let's talk about Obama's ISLAMIC ties.
If you will go to Barack Obama's official website, you will see that he has a fundraiser by the name of Hatem El - Hady. Additionally, if you will look at Obama's site, you will see that Hady and Michelle Obama (Barack's wife) are friends.
Hatem El - Hady was the chairman of an Ohio based charity called Kindhearts. In 2006 the federal government shut down Kindhearts for terrorist fundraising.
According to radio talk show host Neal Boortz (24 April 2008):
"For those of you who may not be familiar with Kindhearts, it is an off-shoot of the Holy Land Foundation, which has been on trial for attempting to mask support of terrorism as "charitable giving." Kindhearts not only provided funds for Hamas, but its fundraising specialist – a man by the name of Muhammad El-Mezain – was the designated Hamas bag man in the US. And two months before the US government closed down Kindhearts, it was revealed that the South Asia Division Coordinator had known ties to al Qaeda, conducting a ten day tour of an al Qaeda recruitment center."
Beyond El-Hady's leadership in Kindhearts, last summer he was questioned by the FBI because they believed he knew about possible conspirators in a UK-based terror plot.
Until a couple of days ago I can say I had a small modicum of respect for Bill Moyers as a journalist. Then he interviewed the Rev. (?) Jeremiah Wright. What a crock!
Moyers allowed his journalistic talents to be used as political propaganda going to depths that made me want to vomit. Wright was allowed to come off as a mainstream minister, who is just being misinterpreted.
Well, if you really don't know (maybe somebody out there lives under a rock), Jeremiah Wright is the pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago of which Barack Obama is a member in good standing. But, what is this man, Rev. (?) Wright all about?
According to one article:
"Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. and his Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, honored Louis Farrakhan at a gala, bestowing on him its Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Lifetime Achievement Trumpeteer award."
This event happened in December of 2007. In that same article, here is what Louis Farrakhan said only a month earlier:
“Do you know some of these satanic Jews have taken over BET [the Black Entertainment Network]?” Farrakhan said in a speech on Nov. 11, 2007.
Again, if you don't know, Farrakhan is THE voice of Islamic extremism in the United States... you know Islamic - as in the enemies we have in the current "War on Terror." But, let's take a look at what Obama himself has had to say about Farrakhan's buddy, the Rev. (?) Wright:
"For a Jan. 21, 2007 story in the Chicago Tribune, Obama said that Wright keeps his priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated."
This article I've been commenting on makes one timely point that cannot be ignored:
" But Obama’s close association with Wright over more than two decades and the minister’s close ties to Farrakhan cannot be explained away so cavalierly. If Obama rejects Wright’s warped view of this country, why does he continue to attend his church? "
Barack and Michele Obama Donated 5.7% of Income to Charity in 2007

Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, and his wife, Michelle Obama, have released their tax return for last year showing that they donated 5.7 percent of their income to charitable causes.
The tax return shows that the Illinois senator and Mrs. Obama, who reported $4.2-million in income, gave $240,370 to 33 churches and charities in 2007.
Senator and Mrs. Obama made their largest gift, of $50,000, to the United Negro College Fund. They gave $35,000 to CARE, the international relief organization, and $26,270 to Trinity United Church of Christ (whose pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. has made headlines for controversial sermons).
Twenty-two organizations received $5,000 gifts from the Obamas, including the Boys and Girls Club; the Central Illinois Food Bank; the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault; the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans; the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance; and the United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area.
Last month, Mr. and Mrs. Obama released general information about their giving in 2007 and their tax returns dating back to 2000 that showed their charitable contributions had increased over the past three years, when the senator and his wife were making more money and he was beginning to run for president.
In 2006, the Obamas gave $60,307 to charitable organizations, or about 6 percent of their $991,296 in total income that year.
In 2005, the Obamas reported total gifts of $77,315, or about 5 percent of their total income of nearly $1.7-million.
From 2000 through 2004, the Obamas’ total income was much smaller, ranging from $207,647 in 2004 to $275,123 in 2001. During this five-year period their charitable giving represented about 1 percent of their total income.
