The current status of the modern militia, as espoused by many self appointed leaders, is that the militia should be little more than a auxiliary of Homeland (IN) Security. If the militia takes on any effort to define issues relative to our freedom and liberty, they feel that the militia has over-stepped its boundaries.
In my view, according to the Declaration of Independence:
"...when any Form of Government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it..."
Therefore, according to that document, if the government becomes antithetical to the ideas of God given Liberties, we have both a Right and Duty to abolish it.
The Declaration goes into some detail as to the steps our forefathers had taken before separating themselves from the tyrannical edicts of King George. And, as a just and law abiding society, we do those things as well BEFORE resorting to extraordinary actions.
We remonstrate (actively protest); we appeal to our legislators; when we feel a law is unconstitutional, we take the issue to the courts. At every stage we must be actively looking for a "legal" / nonviolent remedy. And I would advocate that at every stage of the process that we leave the door for a peaceful resolution open.
By the same token, I stand where my forefathers did in their thinking and posed this issue:
When does tyranny become tyranny? By Scripture, it happens when a ruler breaks the commandments of II Samuel 23: 3, which states: "He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God."
In the Magna Charta, it becomes tyranny when a ruler ceases to act under that law and denies his subjects their rights, as guaranteed by law.
By pronouncement of James I: "A king ceases to be a king, and degenerages to a tyrant as soon as he leaves off to rule according to his laws."
In the eyes of the colonists, it was James II who was the tyrant when the people were forced to choose between obedience and independence from the powers that be.
Today, we have come full circle and are back at that point. There is the view by some in the modern militia that we are shackled by the chains of the Constitution and cannot resist the coming New World Order. So, they do nothing... except cry, wail, moan, groan, complain and meekly accept all manner of infringements on their rights. But, when that Constitution guarantees us certain Rights and the government does not deliver on the promise, we have a dilemma.
IF there is going to be a militia of tomorrow, the people must be genuine citizen - soldiers. We will have to be active in the political and legal arenas, while at the same time training and positioning ourselves in a defensive posture against the enforcement of those laws which are repugnant to the Constitution and the foundations upon which this country was built.
And that's my opening salvo. I welcome your opinions.
As always, I try to elicit people's opinions. If they are not forthcoming, I move on to another subject. But, you have my opening salvo. Here is part 2 of the commentary and then we will move on... unless someone has an opinion or viewpoint to share on this.
Today, the militia - much like the constitutionalist "movement" (again for lack of a more descriptive adjective) is dead. Every two years we vote for the lesser of two evils, thereby electing evil people as representatives. We meekly accept the court rulings against tax protestors, gun owners, property owners and others whose constitutional Liberties have been flushed down the toilet of history. We seem to be content to get on these boards and rehash the controlled news stories and complain about the world situation. We allow the powers that be, referred to as the New World Order, to run their Hegelian scams on us so that we become unwitting participants in our own destruction - and it is taboo to even discuss the fact that we're being duped.
Churches are shut down in Texas and the old political trick of accusing the victims of sexual abuse is used as a pretext to violate the sacred, God given Rights of the parishoners. We fail to act. In New Hampshire, Ed and Elaine Brown are thrown into jail for refusing to submit to an unconstitutional law known as the income tax. Again, by our silence we have spoken volumes. And in Arkansas, Wayne Fincher trusted in us to defend him and the courts to rule in favor of the Constitution on the Second Amendment. Again, we have failed to act.
The easy out, the cop out has been to pretend that we believe all that the lying media says without independent analysis and other sources to document the situation. That way we do not have to commit to standing firm on our convictions (as if we really have any at this stage.)

Today, that is exactly where we are: a nation that is fat and happy. They have their Nintendo, cold beer, the old lady, the computer, three hots, a cot and the television. We are guided by Pavolvian conditioning to believe that it is impossible for us to rally together and organize.
It's like herding cats, you can't fight city hall... on and on it goes. If you attempt to organize at a national level, you have the liberals who attempt to convince you that our forefathers would have you accept tyranny and injustice rather than to do the same things they did in order to proclaim Liberty.
It's high time to cease and desist this practice of retreating from victory. If there is a militia of tomorrow it MUST MUST MUST start somewhere and we have to be willing to work toward a common set of goals with an ultimate objective in mind. I couldn't agree more. However, part of the lack of inactivity may be simply because people don't know where to start. In addition, the boards, at first glance to someone who is unfamiliar with online discussion boards, seem crowded and confusing. Maybe if the admin could work out some of a weekly newsletter keeping those interested up to date in recent happenings, meetings, etc. I love the Command Post board though, excellent and necessary.

Ok ,now that i have read ENFORCER'S first and second insatllments on the Militia i can give my own opinion on the subject.
Suprisingly we agree on quite a few things,past wrongs done to us by our own within the movement ,and others from without.
The Militia to me has been plague with old duffer's who talk more then do,and young Bucks full of fire and vinegar and only want to shoot first and ask question's later.

Oh much more then i can legally say my friends ,i have met,and fought with the enemy and he is a Tyrannt.
And this tyrannt has taken on many forms to disguise it's self.
Sometimes it was a teacher who tried to teach one-world UN type doctrine,other times it was a low-level politician trying to pass some right stealing LAW that may have gone un-noticed if not for the keen eye of myself.I've met thuggery up close and personal and i refused to back-up from it..if i have to continue to do this alone i will..for the alternative is much much much worse then you or your children can comtenplate.

I can tell ya that was done for years,and the name of that famed peace of militia work of art was called:THE PATRIOTEER.
Anyone who wanted to know how to,would read that,and the result was folks got lazy and just sat on thier collective fat-azzez and let someone else do the work...not this time babe..don't know about the rest of the groups,cells,etc but if your on the INTERNET then you should be able to google or get invited to a FTX,how do you do this?Ask around ,PM a few dudes,go to some GUNSHOWS,get ur self a rifle,etc..in other words..DO IT YOURSELF.

I think if everyone would quit living in there own little fantasy world we could get somewhere. The point is we need to just go ahead and get those serious and understanding together and organize our efforts. Others will come along the way. It's always hard to find someone to do anything at first. Theres far more followers than leaders. We need to just go ahead and do whats needs to be done and the soldiers will come along the way. Something needs to be done to flush the agents out at the start. Those people who tend to join and won't do anything will more than likely stop attending to our activities either way.

Thats true, talk is very cheap and eventually anything civil and in which citizens can defend themselves will make our laws of today illegal as making good citizens criminals in there books.
