The primary goal of the Militia of Georgia is to restore the Liberty, Freedoms, and Blessings thereof which the founding fathers of this nation fought, bled, and died in order to establish in the United States.
In order to reclaim our Liberty, we must realize our options:
1) Our first option is to do nothing
2) The second option is to get involved in a Political Action Committee (PAC), party politics, or into some single cause oriented group. Of course the downside is that by limiting yourself to one cause is that you may be working to dismantle ten other things you believe in simply because single issue activists tend to push for their agenda regardless of the cost in terms of Freedom and Liberty down the road with respect to other issues.
3) Your third choice is to join or support a militia organization. As a citizen - soldier you become educated on a variety of issues and how they impact and interact with other issues (whether related or not.)
With that said, here is the general mission of the Militia of Georgia:
The Militia of Georgia is an unincorporated association of citizen - soldiers who are working to promote Freedom, Liberty, and Justice by way of public education, political activism, and preparing a well trained, well regulated citizen militia if and when peaceful avenues have been exhausted and tyranny becomes an imminent threat.
While we consider ourselves to be strict constructionists when interpreting the Constitution, we acknowledge that America is being controlled by a de facto (illegal) government which is completely foreign to the constitutional republic envisioned by the founding fathers of this nation. As such, we will seek out all legal and non-violent avenues of recourse to reclaim our God given Rights and be prepared to use force only when those avenues have been closed to us.
We will network with other militias and organizations that support our Goals and Objectives. We can offer them manpower, our public voice in reaching the people and the elected representatives, and any level of expertise we have in a given area.
We will provide a well regulated, well trained, and adequately educated citizen's militia to repel the forces of tyranny and oppression. This means that our primary focus is preparation against what has become known as the New World Order. In focusing on areas like education, preparation, and alerting the public to the dangers that lie ahead, we hope to make this country stronger and better prepared to defend itself against enemies both foreign and domestic.
