Well guys, we just completed a very important meeting for the Militia of Georgia. Initially, we intended for this meeting to include delegations from Alabama and North Carolina. Unfortunately, both states were not able to send representatives. North Carolina has explained their absence in another thread on this forum.
Before I give you an important update, I have to tell all of you this meeting was jinxed from the get go. First, our server here at Powerboards went down and the notices of the meeting didn't go out in a timely manner. Then the dsl service here went out for a couple of days. Then bad weather put the phone lines out of service for two days. My power supply went out on the computer followed by a problem with one of the phone filters. My printer went down and my monitor gave out. Rowdyreddog saved the day by giving me one of his old monitors. Thanks Rowdy!
Now, onto the business at hand. At the meeting we examined the successes and the eventual failures of the militias in this country over the past couple of decades. I described the situation as cyclical in nature where the militia grows and then factions split the organizational structure so that they are always starting over. And no matter what state you're in, if you have been in the militia (or a political organization) you've most likely witnessed this phenomenon.
So, at this meeting we stressed the need to have a universal message that ALL militia groups could rally behind. Notice here, I said a universal MESSAGE. Here is a link to what I think that message should look like. You could help us fix the document if you see something wrong with it:
The bottom line is that either the controlled news and entertainment media will define what the militia is OR we will define who we are. We all need to have one message - in every state - that all militia members are willing to commit to. Again, read the above link and tell us what YOU would commit to.
NEXT ITEM: We talked about the need for a website that all the participating militias from each state would support. That site would include the basic principles that we are working toward AND give the reader links to the participating militias in their state and neighborhood. Yeah, there is "something like that," but what do you really have? A site that has 75 percent of the links posted that don't work? Sites where known fed fronts, other PACs (KKK, pro pot PACs, anti abortion groups) are listed with militias? Hey, I'm not knocking the PACs. They just aren't militia groups.
IF YOU CAN HELP BUILD A WEBSITE AND WOULD WORK CHEAPLY, OR MAYBE DONATE SOME TIME, WE NEED A WEBSITE.
THEN, after discussing the need to have a common message and the need for the militia to define itself, we turned to the issue of EYE CANDY: t shirts, bumper stickers, flags, patches, etc. I showed many representative examples of items we are hoping to make available AND WE NOW HAVE BUMPER STICKERS FOR SALE. AND, I showed a prototype MILITIA SNIPER tab to be sewn onto uniforms (much like a Ranger tab) for those who can make the grade.
So, where does all that leave us? Well, we will have a message which is applicable in all fifty states. We hope that the representatives of some various states will see fit to support that effort. We hope to have an educational site so that the general public can learn what the militia is all about - and that we all stand for the same message, regardless of what state we're in or who our immediate leadership is. We will have the eye candy necessary to recruit and promote the militias. Once we get people in the door, we will have to provide a road that they will want to travel down. And we've all got to be going in the same direction, on the same road and at the same time.
Now, for me personally, I'd like some of you to help me with the ROUGH DRAFT so that by next month a few leaders from various states will sign onto this effort. You have the link above, so let's see what we can get going. If we can finish that document, I'd like for the Militia of Georgia membership and supporters to find some volunteers to help me man tables at events where we can recruit members. And if the effort takes off, we could also lend our manpower to neighboring states in their recruitment efforts. So, in conclusion, we need volunteers to help recruit new members. We need someone to help build a website and show us how to link our discussion board to that site - among other things. We have bumper stickers available now.

This is embarrassing for me. After 43 views we haven't had a single comment on what was discussed at the last meeting.
In a few short months, there will be a liberal in the White House. Things are going to change really fast. We need to be organizing. I can't personally deduce anything from silence... except that a few people are contacting me via phone or e mail. You really need to say it on the board for the benefit of others who are considering supporting what we've started.
I have logged into this web forum everyday since joining and what I have seen is a "GHOST TOWN!!". After visiting "Militia Gear & Logistics " I have been steadily viewing the Mark Koernke vids on You Tube and Liberty Tree. These, I believe, need to be watched by EVERYONE!! because they contain great information and details what we should be doing as a unit. DO we have a unit ??? There are over 150 members registered here and probably half have never said a thing. If we look at what the Michigan Militia, Ohio Militia and others have done to prepare we are sadly behind. Come on people we need to get behind this and get going before it's too late. You don't need to be rich ( Lord knows I'm not ) but Mark gives you good info on getting the basics and working from there. CHECK THEM OUT !! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

It is very disheartening to come on here day after day and see that no progress is being made.I was so excited when I first came on this forum,and seen all of the people of like mind that were posting,but after going to the first meeting and seeing just how many of you couldn't take the time to show up kinda took the wind from my sails.We all have to take this serious and be willing to sacrifice a little now or we will be the ones being sacrificed before our masters,and made to crawl at there feet begging to to be spared while we piss our selves in fear.I would rather die than be made more of a slave than I already am!!! DOWN WITH THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!! ITS TIME TO GET MAD!! . ITS TIME TO GET ACTIVE!! We need to shit or get off the pot.
I will be talking to some computer techs that I have worked with tomorrow to see if I can get some help with the website.If I have any luck I will post.

I and a few of the surviving Group Leaders have some issue's to be wrked out with ENFORCER(DIRTY-LAUDRY..not fit to be aired out here on the boards)sometime in the near future.
I talked to FREEDOMVET and he and i(both members of the rules commitee)have talked quite a bit over the last week after the meeting about what is to be done.

RESPONSE: Don't you think that coming onto this thread with an allegation of "DIRTY - LAUNDRY," that the issue now becomes public fodder and open to public scrutiny? Isn't that like slapping a man and then telling him we will settle our differences somewhere else? Just asking.
I just met with the remaining Unit Captains of the Militia of Georgia in person. Since we were live and in person, the opportunity to confront me was there... before, during and after that meeting. Nobody seemed to have a problem with me.
For the record, I've been in the same militia, in the same unit, at the same place since 1987 and have NEVER had any charges brought against me as per the Rules and Regulations governing MOG. I don't know of any "DIRTY - LAUNDRY," but tell you what: If someone has an issue with me, since an allegation has been made, you can start a thread in the YOUR VIEW forum here and spit it out. Otherwise, if you know of a member who has an issue with me, there are Rules and Regulations by which we make allegations (and they are done so in writing amongst those in the MOG organization - I can forward a copy of those Rules if you PM me a Snail Mail addy.) BTW, it's covered in the MOG Handbook.

Alright guys, let's don't start down this road again please. That's kind of the reason I left for a while. If we're going to do something let's DO IT. We will NEVER become a cohesive unit with petty bickering. I've let sleeping dogs lie and I'm sure there are those who know what I mean. So let's get on the good foot and become a group that everyone will be happy to say, yeah I belong to the MOG !!
We all have certain things we believe in whether or not we all agree is one thing but, lately the one thing I really believe is that changes are-a-comin' and we need to be as-one to prepare and defeat the enemy !!
