OK folks, I have a view/opinion. I have been on this forum for some time, I don't post often, but I continue to read. Many, if not most of you don't know me and probably don't care, but here's my take.

I believe most everything has been said and posted to answer the majority of the questions asked on here. They are sporadically strewn about the forum. If someone with the time would go through and collect and compile them in a meaningful post, then all of you (maybe?) will find your answers.

I think we have all we need to actually get started, or are we gonna continue beating the dog till it is dead, again? We all have opinions, we all have ideas and I think, no I know, it is time to get up on the soapbox and start shouting the same message across the US, before it becomes the USSR.

You want to keep your "God given rights", then you had better start fighting to keep your 2nd amendment right. Buy a gun, learn to use it! Stop with the PC crap and start speaking you minds (who cares that it might hurt someones feelings, we're all adults, if not you really don't belong here!)

I'm tired of trying to make everything feel good for the "wussy liberals"! I could care less if they get their panties in a bunch (that's their problem)!
I've been a soldier, a Chaplain, a truck driver and a parent (still am). I ain't got time for your fuzzy feelings about the way it should be just the way we can make it (to the best of our abilities).

Let's take what we have and get it started! If all the pansies who are a afraid _______ (for what ever reason, you fill in the blank) don't want to join us, then they are on their own. When the battle begins, they'll probably rat you out for a loaf of bread anyways, so screw 'em! If we create something worth while that works, they'll start moving our way.

For all worrying about the election, I ask why? Nothing will change, no matter who you vote for! One man (the President) cannot bring it back (the US) to what it should be, they won't let him. Only you and I can make that happen, with loud voice and even louder tools (firearms)!

Nuff said for now!!!!   Exclamation

Mesatoad,  Thank you for that posting.  Now, I'd like to respond to it and the responses if I may.

The threat by the next presidential administration will be the final nail in the coffin of freedom by implementing NATIONAL GUN REGISTRATION.  Specifically, the legislation will come packaged as "Gun Show Loophole" legislation.  Once passed, there will be no more privately held weapons.  ALL weapons will go through dealers and ALL of them will be registered.  Bear in mind, I did try to get everyone to leverage their votes in this election so that we could win some concessions on that issue, but everybody seems to know more about it than those who have actually fought in the political arena.

Next, you're right mesatoad.  We need to put the threads in some kind of order so that people can find the answers rather than to keep reposting the same stuff over and over.  That's why I started the Command Post and I also have a thread here entitled The Compleat Patriot - Militiaman:

http://www.freepowerboards.com/usmilitias/usmilitias-about433.html

Our biggest challenge is getting our people to READ THE EXISTING THREADS AND COMMENT ON THEM so that we can all be on the same page without ten thousand different threads about the same subjects.

Moving along, I have to disagree with GETAWAYMAN.  Georgia does not "BADLY NEED" anything other than the existing membership to participate in the Rough Draft thread on this board and get the ball rolling.  Unless and until we (all of those who fancy ourselves as militia / patriots) have a well defined purpose, we are pissing in the wind and doing little more than mental masturbation on the boards.

Over the last couple of decades I've watched the revolving door of patriotism, militia style.  We're all buddies and willing to die for the other guy's Liberties until some frigging snake oil salesman comes along with their magic elixir that will save the world if we jump on a single bandwagon.  The political propaganda prostitutes come along with their textbook cases of Hegelian Dialectics and those who just built the current militia base are sh!+ on and then pushed to the curb while the current great savior on their figurative white horse and their shiny armor command a lot of media publicity.

And once the propaganda artists have had their fifteen minutes of fame, we are left to start at square one again.  In history, God's people had a hard time following any program until Moses came off the mountain with the Ten Commandments.  In 1215 the Magna Charta was sealed.  In 1776 the colonists served King George with the unanimous Declaration.  We need to follow the example of history.  And so, step ONE is the completion of the Rough Draft - and then a sufficient number of people to sign and support that idea.  Then, and only then, will we be ready to recruit and talk of working together (because then we will have a common purpose.)   Thank you for considering my thoughts relative to your post.

How do we do this??

How we do this;
1) We stop bitchin 'bout who's in charge! Leaders lead/followers follow!
2) We stop pushing "my favorite caliber vs. best caliber"! What you got will have to do, not everyone can afford an AR or AK. Some have .22s, you gonna turn 'em away?
3) Who the hell cares what uniform you use? Use what ya got, what ya can get and make it work for ya!
4) Stop beatin' the Pres. election thing! We all know we're screwed. What are we gonna do? How's this for common ground?
5) Enough with the "Rough Draft" crap, show me a finished document so I can sign it! We ain't got much time left, so let's get the ball rolling   NOW!
6) Everybody, I mean EVERYBODY (Enforcer), quit sniping back at each other! It becomes a very boring and vicious circle that just don't go anywhere!
6a) If ya gonna fight with someone, save it for those we should be directing at, not the ones you want to join up or help re-build!
7) By a gun! If you can afford it, buy your neighbor a gun (if he don't have one).
Cool Move out of the cities, find people in your area of like mind! They don't have to be Militia, just like minded! (A Redneck is a Redneck, regardless of his uniform or lack of.)

Nuff For Now!!

Y'all wanna add? Be my guest...

Anyone take offense? Oh well, ya ain't gonna get me in no sniping match so don't try!
