The last time I solicited for people to help me recruit at a gun show for new members, we had exactly ZERO volunteers. Let's try it again.
The next BIG event insofar as gun shows go is the National Arms Show at the Atlanta Expo Center. These guys have TWO THOUSAND TABLES FOR RENT... That is two and a half times the size of Eastman's biggest shows in Georgia! Any volunteers to help me man that table? Or we may consider the 13th and 14th of December when that same promoter puts on a show in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Any volunteers for either show?
A competent video producer has asked me to do a small segment for the militia. Somehow, when x number of people view his videos, he makes money. In exchange for that freebie (he says under ten minutes), he will use his facilities to produce an hour and half long video for us to introduce people to the militia and the beliefs of the militia - you know an introductory or infomercial for the militia. Anybody want to be on video and represent the militia? Anyone ever done script writing?
I'd like to do some meet and greet type of meetings so that all the new people - and those looking to build local units in their communities could meet and talk. The first thing I need is to find out if there is any interest. November is looking good, if so.
Last, but not least - We need an updated Handbook. I have the text, but not enough common sense to know how to put the illustrations, etc. into the documents. If anyone out there can donate some time to help us with the handbook, it would be deeply appreciated.
