On the UltraLite page(s), thatone looks pretty decent, but without the weight, I dunno--having shot a full sized and heavy McMillen at the range one day (one shot), I was impressed with the .50 BMG overall, and the recoil was not that bad--like a .308 really. That UltraLite might damage this old man's bones!!
And the real kicker...I shot that McMillen, did my research on the company, got the price ($5400.00--no optics), decided to save up. Within 60 days, the CA legislature added the .50 BMG on the assault weapons list, so I couldn't own one now, were $$ no object.
On a side note, after the law making idiots in Sacramento did this number, Barrett Mfg, came out with a notice in the gun periodicals and on their site stating that due to this action by CA legislature, they would not sell to, or service, any of their .50 BMG's owned or possessed by any CA State or local agency.
Then shortly after that, Barrett came out with their .416. A .50 BMG necked down to .416. Ha Ha, CA legal!! But boy are they proud of that one.
Cordially

EDIT: I posted my spiel above, and whenI clicked 'submit, it went onto the board. The link to 'Ferret' was hot--I got a pic of two reciever/barrels sitting on the ground side by side.
The nuances of the Discussion Boards--day looking better already! CDJ _________________ A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what they are made for.
