Enforcer and I have spent most of this afternoon and up until this evenin making some adjustments and changes to the Administrative area of our board here.
Hopefully, the combined efforts that have been done will not only be transparant to y'all, but will eliminate the vile and repugnant acts of some people who, for whatever reason, deem it a value to pimp and pander to a community such as ours.
They have no conscience. WE DO!

Be warned, you will see new users appear, but hopefully, that is as far as their efforts will go...for now. These things tend to develope over time. But one day they will tire. WE WILL NOT!
PLEASE DO NOT LOOK AT THE PROFILE OF SUSPECT INDIVIDUALS!
Their vulgarity may well be awaiting your view. And I predict the 'pill pushers' will follow soon.
Time will tell. We are prepared.

Over 24 hours have passed since the adjustments to the board were made. And no spam. I thank God for the reprieve.
And I want y'all to know that Enforcer has been determined, as I have, in trying our best to put an end to the intrusion(s). Thanks Enforcer!!
Enforcer is the lead dog here. I do what I can to help out. That said, YOU as members make this effort happen. The real pleasure for Enforcer and myself is being members too. We also have these other responsibilities of maintaining a wholesome environment. I hope we have been successful in the most recent endeavor. That aspect of the effort should always be foremost.
So, here is what the deal is:
The registration process has been changed. I had said this would be transparent to y'all. And for the most part it has. Look at the bottom of the index. Tail End Charlie [TEC] is (unconfirmed). We have no problem with TEC. He is an asset to our effort and a real nice guy! He agreed to participate in a test to determine if our efforts were in fact fruitful. So far, so good.
He has not been activated by the Admin yet, so y'all could see an example of the new adjustments. Let me explain:
When we have new members registering, there is no member activation like before. The new member must be 'activated' by the Admin. That will slow down the process, but it will also screen and prevent the deviate people who violate our sancity.
Once a new member registers, and is screened, they will be activated (or not) then they are permitted to post. Just the same as current members.
There is no Preferencial Policy as to who gets to join--with one exception. One is for real, they are in. One is a spammer, that one is out. And out before harm is done.
So, when you refer people over here, give me a heads up on the user name via pm! It will speed the process for those who are for real. I will know to look for them, as will Enforcer.
Caveat: If my pm box is full, just tell me here.
I try to keep it emptied out. But here lately it has become pretty full (82% right now), but that will change today. That isn't a complaint, most of those I will always cherish, as they are the ones mentioned earlier, of support and offers of help. Y'all are Super!

I didn't notice, but I assume you found out how to stop unregistered folks from posting and from reading certain areas via the ADMINS board controls.
I haven't had this problem, yet, but I also had tight security from the start.

I should have pointed out some of the 'things' I have been watching.
The change in the registration process has been the ticket so far. I've only knocked off ONE spammer since the original intrusion.

As to the 'certain areas':
There are none of those 'back rooms' here. Not even for the Mods/Admin.
We do all the business of the operation of the forum via pm, or out hee, just like this.
Now, that is no negative critisisum of ONE 'room' that I use on another board. Heck, if I used that for anything other than 'Board Operations' the Admin over there would have a new Mod!!

I believe someone said this is a gov ops. Given the direction currently to confiscate our guns, I wouldn't doubt that all militia and patriot boards are going to be under attack.
I just don't understand how someone can take an oath of office to defend and protect and then help violate that oath without question. Its offensive and treasonous. But then the day is coming.
I must tell you I have been reading "The Art of War" by Sun Tsu and its awesome. Its .98 on Amazon for a used book and its the best investment I have ever made. I am learning much from that 2000 year old document.
I highly recommend everyone get a copy and get on the same page. Its comprehensive and enlightening as to strategy and tactics. Give it a shot. Its helped me already in our battle of the convention for the repub nomination.
Anyway, I have checked in now and still want to be listed on here even if I don't get to post much lately. I have a lot of personal stuff that eats up my time right now, but hopefully soon it will all be settled. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Something that may help is not letting trollers enter without registration. They could see the subjects, just not actually able to enter the forum subjects. That way everyone on the board are the people registered and supposed to be on the board. Just a thought.
