Obvious a pro israel song. Israel surrounded by all the crazy mulsim countries that hate them. Some think that Obama is not very supporting of Israel. So they are pretty worried over there about the election.
While I openly admit to having concerns over Obama's potentially far-reaching liberalism, I am also hopeful of his potential to be a govern-from-the-middle president. To do so he must be willing to stand up to the far left leadership of the Democratic Congress.
This was an incredible election that saw the challenges of the day working against McCain, particularly in the home stetch of the campaign. We cannot underestimate the impressive organization of the Obama campaign either. A very well run and consistent campaign that elevated Obama from the ranks of possible to likely victor.
As for the Republicans, frankly, they must be honest with why they lost this election. While having an unpopular Republican president certainly played a part, as well as the credit crisis hysteria the shook the country in throughout September and October, the fact is, the Republican Party is a diminished product. It lacks the clear moral message of basic principle that defined it in the 1980s and 1990s. The Bush administration and the then Republican controlled Congress spent more money than any administration prior. We witnessed one of the largest increases in the size and scope of government that both repulsed and alarmed Republican faithful and many amongst the independent ranks. And so the path to defeat was laid out.
Congratulations to President-Elect Obama. He ran the more effective campaign, and he was by far the more exciting and interesting candidate. Now the actual job of governing will soon begin for him, and the impacts of that governing will soon begin for all of us.

Not to speak for him but I imagine he has to think a little like uh, I told you so. Now where are all the people who were so against this idea last time when the former cheif of police was stirring everyone up against the idea? Where are those people? I can tell you where they are. Nowhere to be seen or heard from or are probably now supporting idea of having the count y come in to give the town service. Makes you wonder how much of the information coming out of the PD was total BS back then doesn't it? Total jokes is on them now.

Did the last chief stir the pot up to protect his own butt? Heck yes he did. Did it fool a lot of people. You betcha. In fact if we all remember right there was a councilman who is still on there who defended the guy right up until the very end. Kind of like Obama defending the crazy hate pastor of his church. Not very good judge of character. But I can't be that hard on the guy because it fooled me also. What is done is done and hoping for better days for out town to come. I won't be voting for that councilman again though. He really did blow it big time on that one.

I think the town going with the Sherifs for the police force is a super idea and an idea that we should have gone with a long time ago! Nice to see that the mayor has been working to get this going and has people really supporting the idea. Got to laugh at the old whiners who did not like the idea before though who are now saying how great it is. It has been those people who have been killing our town for so many years.

Obama picked a Jewish guy to be his head of staff so I do not think Isrial needs to worry about him not being a supporting president. They are our allies and we will stand by them thick or thin.
