The split round has just gone, what are the thoughts on the split round?
Was it good for the local game or did it drag out a round of football?
Any benefits or burdens arisen from it at all?
I thought the break was great because it gave the players a week off to travel or pursue something else, and come back refreshed for the next week’s game.
Player’s desire to come back out next week will be right up there.
