.Part Eleven. Would you believe me if I say I didn't need you? Taylor’s POV I was in a considerable good mood that morning. After having a few drinks on the bar and fall asleep to a movie, my head hurt less and I have to admit it was the first night of real sleep that I’ve had in a week. I entered my room hoping to see Carden there with Nat, but she was alone, asleep and curled up on the bed gripping her phone. I chuckled and pulled the curtains open, tapping her ass. “Wake up, you lazy slut.” “OW! I swear if you do it again...” She mumbled half asleep, turning her head and glaring, wiping her eyes. “Oh, it’s you. Hey.” She blinked. “Hi…” I raised an eyebrow and chuckled. “You seem to be in a good mood… where’d you go?” Nat asked, turning on her side, like she didn’t wanna sit on her ass, which was weird… “Ryan’s… I told you before I left though.” I said pulling the covers down the bed, just to find out her reddened behind. “Oh my God! Nat!” I started laughing. Nat snatched the covers back up, hiding and burying her face on the pillows. “Go away.” She mumbled. I laughed even harder and knelt on the bed, pulling the covers down again. “What the fuck did you let him do to you?” I asked, struggling for the blankets. Nat groaned and blushed, covering up to her face. “I didn’t LET him, he just... distracted me and just did.” She said vaguely. “He distracted you… and spanked you…” I chuckled again, cause, call me a perv, but I could totally see that in my head. And it was funny as hell! “And you liked it!” I said bursting out laughing. “I didn’t say I liked it…” Nat pouted, which made everything even funnier. “I may have liked the other things he was doing while he spanked me…” She said, pulling a thread off of the edge of the blankets, obviously lying… “Anyway, what about Ryan?” She said trying to change the subject. “You liked it! Don’t lie to me, you’re totally into getting spanked, tied up and possibly whipped.” I still was laughing when I lied on the bed and hugged a pillow. “And Ryan… he’s nice. We had a couple of drinks and then watched a movie. Oh! And we also laughed at Brendon.” Nat made the attempt of sitting up, slowly… “I’m not encouraging this bullshit. My ass hurts.” She said with a groan and I just laughed louder. “But you were drinking? And why were you laughing at Brendon?” “Cause he was like 2 hours sending out messages and cursing on the phone… He looks really cute when he’s pouting, looks like a little kid.” Nat smiled dreamily at the comment. “I know…” I raised an eyebrow, smirking, when she cleared her throat. “But what did you and Ryan talk about?” “Just random stuff…” I said still eyeing her. “Mostly about Brendon and his secret girlfriend… though I don’t think is that secret anymore.” I chuckled watching her go crimson. She pouted again and tossed a pillow at me. I started laughing again. “He... said that? That he has a secret girlfriend?” By now I was practically rolling on the bed laughing. “No! Ryan said that! To tease him... he blushed and stammered and all that. That’s when he stopped sending messages! And pacing around the room... and dialing....” Nat managed to get so red, I feared her head would explode. “He’s so sweet…” She said with a sigh and then looked at me. “But you and Ryan seem to be getting cozy…” “He’s nice… we just get along well.” I shrugged, biting my lip. “I like that he doesn’t ask about things either. Even if he knows…” My smile faded. Cause everyone knew. It wasn’t like me and Bill were that much of a secret and our “break up” was kind of obvious for everyone. “Have you talked to Bill?” Nat asked after a pause. “No... I--” I sighed again. “I can’t. And is not like he’s tried either…” I rolled my eyes and Nat stifled a chuckle. “Don’t blame him entirely. It’s not like you’re the most approachable person when you’re mad, Tay…” I looked at her, pulling a face. “Ha-ha... I know... but still, I’d like him to try. And if he doesn’t, then is not that important to him.” I bit my lip and looked down, picking a thread on the bed. It still bothered me too much, more than it should and a lot more than I wanted to. “Don’t worry, he’s probably just building up the nerve to talk to you again.” Nat soothed, giving a long sigh… “The same way I need to... and that makes perfect sense, you know, because you still frighten the hell out of me.” One snarky comment deserves another one. “And I haven’t spanked you yet... wait, you like that stuff. Hmm…” Nat glared at me again and I would’ve laughed, but… I shook my head instead, still picking on the comforter. “It doesn’t matter, in a week I’ll be far away from him and it will be like none of this ever happened.” “Knock it off about the spanking! Jeez! And next question is, will you be moving on to Italy…” She asked with a smirk and a giggle. Panic’s next stop was Italy. “…or going back home to the states?” “I don’t know…” I said trying to sound uninterested. “So far I’m going back home.” For real, I didn’t know. Even if a little part of me would like to be invited to Italy, I wasn’t about to admit it. “How about you? Following the S&M freak? Your contract ends in December.” It was my time to smirk, as Nat groaned and shook her head. “Oh hell no. No. No. No. As far as I’m concerned, we’re already done.” “Really? Why? He has sex with you like 10 times a day and spanks you! What else can you ask for?” I said amused. “Yeah well... All that and he’s not the least bit sensitive… And I want more…” Nat trailed off and looked down at the phone. I giggled. “More on the ‘Italian’ side?” I made airquotes. “With pouty lips and plump ass?” “Maybe…” She said biting her lip, and then groaned. “It’s getting so obvious, even Mike can see it.” “Well, he had to be blind not to!” I earned another pillow. “You do have a lot in common, though, with Brendon. One thing being your blatant obviousness. You can’t keep a secret to save your boobs.” I laughed. Nat cupped her boobs and shrugged. “Yeah well, it’s more my ass I’m worried about here.” She said frowning, I knew she felt bad, but it was asking for it! “You already let him spank you and NOW you worry about your ass?!?” I said laughing out loud. “Because it hurts!” She pouted again. “And we don’t get along. Period.” Nat sat on the bed, crossing her arms on her chest, looking like someone stole her animal crackers. “Whatever you say, Nat.” I said rolling my eyes and getting off the bed, searching my suitcase for clean clothes. “I’m going to take a shower. You might wanna put ice back there!” The shower spring washed away my giggles and took me back to thinking about William. I know I can be a total bitch when I’m pissed, but it’s not like I’d stop him or hit him or do anything to hurt him really. But he doesn’t care, that’s why he’s not even trying. And if that’s true, then he’s not worth it. Besides, as Nat said… there’s Ryan… .~ William’s POV The morning after I saw Ryan with Taylor I woke up in a bad mood. How could she sit there with him, all smiles, laughing, talking like nothing was wrong at all, when I walked around looking the way I did? It was frustrating. I should just forget her. Let her covert with Ross and worry about my... family. Not that I’ve gotten used to that bit of news at all. With a grumble I rolled out of bed and scratched my head, nearly crashing into a freshly showered Mike, who himself had some serious bitchface going on. “Hey man.” I said as he brushed by. “Morning...” He grumbled. “Rough night?” I asked. “You could call it that,” He replied, toweling off his hair while I dug into my suitcase. “I don’t get women.” “Pssh, you and me both,” I scoffed. “What happened?” Mike huffed angrily. “Well first, I got there and she was on the phone, and for a good 10 minutes at that! Until I used some...” He smirked. “Persuasion...” I chuckled a little and he shook his head and went on. “Anyway, after it happened she just refused to talk to me. Like, at all. She just rolled over and ignored me and checking her phone or whatever...” He finished dressing and I sat back down on my bed. “I don’t know, this shit is going nowhere. How the fuck did you manage to last so long?” I shrugged. “You’re hiding it for one. That only pisses them off. I’ve never hidden anything from you guys. But hey! Don’t ask me for advice. You see how everything’s fucked up now don’t you?” “Yeah, but that wasn’t cause Tay thought you were an ass to her. Nat thinks so and I really have no idea of how making it better.” He paused, then mumbled, “Not that I care, but it would be nice...” I laughed. “Oh you don’t care?” I laughed again until I snorted. “I don’t know Mike, do something nice. Do you ever like, talk? I mean, Just talk without reaching into her pants? Girls DO like that kind of shit, you caveman.” “I did! Or tried... and I’m planning to take her for lunch,” I raised my eyebrow skeptically. “Real lunch! But she just... uughh, shut me down.” I sighed. “I wish I could help, other than to tell you to be... you. Only like, 3 times sweeter. I’m no guru on women, man. Look what a mess I’ve made myself. I even saw Taylor out last night with Ryan...” Mike paused and he raised his eyebrow. “Really? Cause I’ve seen Nat being all cozy with Brendon.” “Figures. I don’t get what it is about them... Ryan and Taylor were having drinks... Who knows what that led to.” I grimaced, shaking my head mournfully. “Whatever you plan on doing, or deciding to do with Nat, you better do it soon...” Mike sat back for a minute, like he was taking it all in. “Maybe, I don’t know. I can’t just turn into this sweet, goofy guy overnight!” He said, snatching his shoes up. “Have you talked to Taylor?” “No...” I gave my short answer, immediately becoming saddened thinking about our current situation. I really missed her. “Have you tried?” I paused. “I was going to... until last night with Ryan, and then Christine... I’m thinking maybe... I should just let it go.” “Is she really that scary?” He asked, sitting on the bed and smirking. I rolled my eyes in return. “No, just... Maybe she deserves better. I’ve got a pregnant girlfriend, Mike.” “...and you’re scared Taylor will bite your head off. Really.” He said with a small chuckle that made it all worse. “If that child is yours, then it’s yours. But you shouldn’t force yourself with Christine for it. What is it that you really want?” I frowned. “Neither of them is more important than my kid. And if Taylor has a problem with that, then well... we’re over. I’m also aware I don’t have to be with Christine to raise it...” “How can you even know Taylor has a problem with it? I really don’t think the baby is the problem here...” I stared straight ahead and bit my lip. I didn’t want to hear or discuss anything about Taylor, it was only pissing me off. “If you know so much, about chicks, then why are you having so many problems?” “It’s not about chicks, William! The fact that I don’t know what the fuck to do with Natalie doesn’t make me oblivious! Are you really that blind??” I glared a little, sticking my lip out in a pout. “Maybe I am...” I replied, heading into the bathroom. “She’s in love with you, Bill. And everyone knows it. Everyone but you.” Mike sighed. I ignored him and stepped into the bathroom, turning on the shower. Who the hell was he to tell me anything? If she was so “in love”, then why wasn’t she trying to work things out instead of hanging out with that kid? I went back and forth many times as I stood under the warm spray of water. Finally deciding that maybe I should confront Taylor. Talk this out, before it was too late.
.Part Twenty.
These are the fast times
Nat's POV
Once we unloaded from the hotel shuttle, we all dragged ourselves into the airport somberly. Brendon held my hand until we reached the checkpoint detectors. When we stopped, I looked over my shoulder for Tay, but found myself staring into Mike's troubled eyes instead. I heard him audibly sigh, and I turned back around lightening fast.
"What's the matter?" Brendon asked as he tossed my carry-on bag onto the conveyor belt. I shook my head.
"Nothing. Just looking for Taylor. I'm gonna miss her, a lot."
I felt a finger poking my side and I turned to see her standing there. "No you won't."
"Shut up, I will. The closest to a female I'll have on this tour will be Spence." I giggled as Spencer gave me a playful evil glare.
"And Brendon..." Taylor chuckled.
"Ha, funny." Brendon smiled. "You're just mad because I'm stealing your bed buddy."
"Not at all, she kicks a lot, and she might end up smothering you with her boobs, which is not nice." Taylor replied, making the juice Ryan sipped fly from his mouth and nose.
"Hey, that's not true!" I laughed.
"I don't exactly think he shares your sentiment there, Taylor." Spencer butted in, patting Ryan's back. Taylor took one glance at the expression on Brendon's face and rolled her eyes.
"Men." She said simply, with a giggle.
"See? Where will I be without your dry humor and sarcasm?" I laughed as we all went through and collected our things.
"You'll be fine, Ryan is exactly the same way." Brendon stated.
"I'll be sure to avoid him in the morning then too." Everyone giggled and Ryan glared a little. "No, but really," I began when we all sat and settled for the wait. "You're like my best friend Tay. We've been through a lot of crazy shit. You know you're my favorite bitch." I giggled.
"Aaawwww," Tay said with a faux sniffle. "Im going to miss you too, whore. But if you cry, I'm gonna kick your ass." She chuckled as she hugged me.
"I'm emotional, you know that." I giggled.
"Yeah, yeah I know. But I guess Brendon will keep you busy enough to keep you from missing me."
"I can sure try!" Brendon added with a grin.
"Not if he plans to keep his job..." Ryan deadpanned.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "You heard the 'boss'. I've gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be back."
I was still a little emotional, and I knew that if I cried Taylor would only tease me, so I left everyone in the boarding area and walked about a damn mile to the nearest restroom. I went in, and stood in the mirror, sniffling back tears. When I convinced myself they were not going to fall, I splashed a little water on my face and dried it. My hair was horrid, so I started combing it with my fingers a little at a time down into place.
I was nervous about going to Italy, but there was something else. Something nagging, literally pulling at me and twisting my tummy in knots, and I couldn't figure out at all why I was feeling so unsettled.
"Don't be so jittery." I told myself. "You've got a great guy, new friends... You're going to have fun. Relax. And just have fun."
I took a deep breath and tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear before heading for the exit. I was still semi-freaked. But what I saw when I got out is what made it worse.
Mike was standing there as I turned the corner, hands in pockets, leaning against the wall. He straightened up when he saw me and said one word.
"Stay."
.~
Taylor's POV
I watched Nat walk to the bathroom. I knew she would be hiding in there to cry cause she's a wimp like that, but I decided to give her a break and tease her when she'd get back. Besides, I was a little emotional myself. I would miss her a lot... and who am I kidding? After everything that happened with William I was entitled to feel like shit. Even if that was no reason to show it.
"How's your hand doing?" Ryan asked me.
"Fine." I said with a tiny smile. "Doesn't hurt that bad, though I know the bruising will stay there for a week or so." I showed my hand to Ryan.
"Make sure you put an ice pack on it when you can." He held my hand, tracing the darkening bruises with his fingers. I couldn't help getting a little tingly when he did, making me hold my breath.
"I know. I'll ask for some ice when I board the plane..."
"Good." He added smiling feebly and releasing my hand. "Make sure you call when you land. So I… so we know you made it safe." Ryan cleared his throat and I smiled.
"I'm sure Nat will page me the whole flight! I hope she doesn't page me when she gets to join the mile high club with Brendon though." I said with a shrug. Is it wrong that I could see Nat doing that? And I mean paging me, not being with Brendon!
"I'm surprised he's still sitting here, honestly. I thought that was some kind of secret code." Ryan chuckled. "She'll just be missing you. You're not so bad to be around, you know?"
"Well, you've seen only the good side of me then." I said biting my lip. "But I'll let Nat tell you all the shit."
"We'll see what she's told me in the next few weeks. Then I'll decide if we're still friends." I must have looked at him funny, cause he rushed to add. "That was a joke, by the way." And I shook my head.
"It won't take you much to get dirt about me from Nat, to be honest..."
"Oh, stop. I'm not digging up dirt on you, Taylor. I like you the way you are." He said offering a small smile that I reciprocated. "Don't forget that when you get tired of my texts."
"You can't be worse than Nat anyways. Hope you remember to give me a call when you get back..." I faced the floor then and Ryan got quiet for a few uncomfortable seconds.
"And you should've come with me." He blurted out. I didn't look up as I felt my cheeks burn.
"And you should've asked sooner."
"Yeah... I'm--" He started, but I didn't let him continue.
"Doesn't matter, Ryan. I think it's better this way... I have tons of shit to get fixed right now."
He agreed with a nod at the same time the speakers were announcing Panic's flight. I turned my head on the bathroom's direction checking on Nat and I saw her nearly run her way back to us, obviously upset. I said nothing as I saw her hugging Brendon and I shrugged it off.
"Time to go." Ryan said picking up his bag.
"Thank you." I hugged him. "For everything." He pulled away a little and nodded, looking at me uncertainly, which was getting me uncomfortable again. "I'll be waiting on that phone call." I said trying to break the awkward silence. He nodded and kissed my cheek, right on the corner of my lip, making me go tingly again.
We said nothing else as he stepped back and waved. I would've waved back, but Nat tackled me.
"I'm going to miss you!" She said, obviously crying now.
"Oh, my God, you're getting me all wet and not in a good form!" I giggles and held her back for a few second before shoving her away. "That's enough. Brendon, take her please!"
Nat glared playfully at me while Brendon took her hand and led her away. I sighed as they walked away, making way back to the remaining crew and sitting on the floor.
.~
William’s POV
I have to sit very still. Very, very still, so no one can notice that I’m shaking. Why? Why didn’t I do or say something sooner? Why can’t I do something now? She’s right there for fuck’s sake and her new boyfriend or whatever is on a plane flying to the other side of the world.
Pointless. What would I say anyways?
When I saw Taylor sit on the floor everything that happened in the last few weeks came back to my mind in a flash. And the memories stayed with me during the whole flight back home. I tried to sleep several times, but my head kept pounding with the weight of those two weeks. And for some reason I kept forcing my neck into the hallway just to see her, or her arm actually, 3 seats in front of me.
I must have fallen asleep after all, cause I lost track of time before I was rudely awakened by the flight attendant announcing our first scale on the trip. That’s when my stomach dropped: Taylor would leave the plane and get home. I straightened up on my seat like someone pinched my ass and I saw her getting her backpack from the compartment.
Then she turned to me, and I simply couldn’t look away, so we locked eyes for what it seemed to be an eternity. I have to stop her, I have to say something, do something, anything…
And she’s gone. She walked the 3 seats in between us and off the plane and I just stared like a fucking dumbass.
I slumped back on my seat and took a few deep breaths. It’s over, it’s all over… in a few hours you’ll get home and your girlfriend will be there, your girlfriend who you love above all else, right? Who’s carrying your baby, right? That’s all you need, right?
Yeah… right.
I sighed audibly, mimicked in the gesture by my now awake band mate, who had been little worse than a wet blanket since we left the hotel. I knew something had been gone terribly wrong with him and Nat and I wanted to ask, but I chose not to. I wouldn’t want people questioning me if I feel like shit.
“Where are we?” Mike said at realizing the plane was still.
“Washington.” I answered, feeling a poking in my chest. Mike looked at me.
“Isn’t this where--- okay, not saying shit.” I must have looked at him funny, cause he stopped and sighed again, fastened his seatbelt at the flight attendant’s command and rolled over to the window.
My thoughts went back to the two girls that were now out of our lives. Wondering what could we have done to make things turn out different, better. What could we have said or done to make them be with us in this plane instead of going to Europe or back home, miles away from us? I realized it was useless to question such things, for everything we could have done we already didn’t. They’re gone… Taylor is gone.
And there’s nothing I can do to change that.

The end!! xD

.Part Nineteen.
The last time she hides her eyes behind her hair.
Mike’s POV
I couldn’t even swallow the mini pizza, thanks to the image of Brendon and Nat sucking faces in the corridor making me a little sick. It’s not supposed to mean anything, but it was still upsetting. Whatever. I wasn’t dwelling on it more than I already had, which was a lot thanks to last night’s drunkenness and today’s hangover. I lied down in the couch, covering my face with my arms, to see if the darkness could make my head hurt a little less, when a loud and hard bang on the door nearly split my skull open. Or at least it felt like it.
Whoever knocked didn’t wait for an answer and simply pushed the door open.
I had seen Taylor pissed before. She wasn’t the happiest person around and always had an ironic comment or snarky comeback. But this… this wasn’t just annoyingness or being upset cause of a lover’s tiff. This was rage in its purest form. And I had never seen that in anyone.
“You, out.” She said pointing to Bill and I didn’t blame him for going out without saying a word as the very air in the room seemed to freeze when she got in.
Bill was out and the door closed with a thud. A second later, Chizzy, Sisky and I were pressing our ears to the door listening to the conversation held outside.
“You have no right to say a fucking thing about me, Beckett! What I do with the people I know it’s my fucking problem and if I recall correctly it never was your business in the first place!”
“I w-was just mad, ok? I-I didn’t m-mean it.” Bill was stuttering, that wasn’t a good sign.
“Oh, you didn’t? I‘m not buying it. Seriously, what do you think of me, William? What have you thought of me all the time we were together?”
“I told you, I saw Nat and Brendon together and flipped! Plus, I-I've seen you and Ryan together. I saw you with him the night you walked out on me.”
“So what? Does that automatically mean I’m sleeping with him? That’s what you really think I’d do? I can’t respond for Nat, even when Carden is a major twat who treated her like shit.”
“Hey!!” I jumped at hearing Taylor say that about me and I would’ve gone out too, but Chiz and Sisky shushed me down and kept me in place, still listening.
“But at least she had the decency,” Taylor continued. “…to call it off with Carden before doing anything with Brendon. She didn’t play both sides.”
The undertones of that phrase were obvious. By the sounds that followed, I could see Bill sighing and rubbing his face.
“That’s nice Taylor. You’ve got a conscience now and you want to attack me.”
“It’s not about attacking you, just making you see that you aren’t exactly in a place to be judging what or who me and Nat do. And I hold on you way more things that you’ll ever hold on me, so you better remember that next time you flip.” Here comes the pointy finger of doom.
“And so what? That’s supposed to be an excuse? I hate how I catch all the shit for this. You act like she was here in bed with me last week when I haven’t been with her in months!” Bill fought back, which I still don’t think it was a very clever idea.
“Then how did she get pregnant? The Holy Spirit did it for you?!?” We had to stifle a laugh at Taylor’s comment. We moved from the door when Tony left the room, giving us an ‘I don’t wanna know’ look. Michael held it open a millimeter so we could have a better view.
“You know what, are you done throwing your tantrum?” Another not so clever idea from William’s part. Taylor glared at him and spoke slowly.
“I know I'm not innocent, but the one cheating wasn't me. I don't know what shit could you possibly get from this, especially when I haven't told anyone about it. What did you lose, Bill? You still have your fiancée, your career and now a baby. What the fuck have you lost?”
William looked down and shook his head. “With your new boyfriend and all, one could ask you the same.”
“He’s not my boyfriend. And in case you need to know, tomorrow I’m taking a plane to the US, back to Charlotte. And newsflash! I’m unemployed.”
Bill paused and got a straight face. “It’s not any of my business.”
“Nat and I aren’t any of your business either; keep that in mind unless you wanna end up like Carden.” She said turning away to leave. William just stood there, his jaw set angrily and his knuckles turned white he was fisting so hard. He was about to do something stupid, I knew it…
“Guess that means you won’t need an invite to the baby shower!” He yelled to her and I knew right away it was the worst idea that has ever crossed Bill’s head.
Taylor turned on her heels and hauled to him, smashing her fist on the left side of his face. The guys and I gasped and swore under our breath at the same time William shouted something very similar and held his face with his hand.
“No, I guess I won’t.” She said and left again, this time not even bothering in looking back.
We scrambled away from the door when Bill came back, pretending nothing happened. He didn’t say a word either and trudged straight to the bathroom, where he slammed the door and locked him self till Sisky told him it was time to play.
.~
Taylor’s POV
I came back to the merch post still fuming. How could he say all those things? I guess I meant even less than I thought to him. He’s an ass, a stupid, stupid ass and he deserved everything he got; even if my hand hurt like a bitch now, I wasn’t sorry for hitting him. I knew I had some ice in the cooler back at the post, so after walking past Nat, who looked at me curiously, got an ice pack and wrapped my hand with it before slumping in a chair.
“What the hell did you do?” Nat asked me, sitting beside me.
“Gave him a small piece of my mind...” I said vaguely. Then examined my hand, which was slowly turning purple. “And apparently a piece of my knuckles too.” I flinched and covered my hand with the ice pack again.
“You hit him? Really?” Nat’s eyes bulged out in surprise. I nodded.
“Yes, really.” I showed my bruising up hand to her. “Right after he asked me if I wanted an invite for the baby shower.”
“Oh, Jesus Christ. This is getting ugly.”
“Whatever. We'll be gone by this time tomorrow.” I duck my head to the table and took a deep breath. “Take lots of pictures in Europe for me, would you?”
Nat sighed and shook her head. “I will. It's not like I have a job to do or some shit. And don't worry about Bill, a couple more hours and you won’t have to see his stupid face anymore.”
“I know, I know… though you can't see the left side of his face now, it's a little swollen and purple.” I chuckled and Nat cringed at the description.
“Damn! I guess he and Mike match now.” She added with a giggle.
“Told him to shut up if he didn't wanna match Carden, but…” I giggled along. Even when I was still angry the whole silliness of the situation was funny. “This is so stupid.”
“THEY are stupid!” Nat and I laughed again before Tony called her to the green room, telling her one of the guys would need make up today. I couldn’t help bursting out laughing. Tony just looked at me and shook his head, saying he didn’t really wanna know. Besides I was already leaving, so it wasn’t like he could fire me or some shit.
.~
The show was over and the merch post was down. For the last time I’d be in charge of it. I walked to the van sighing and still holding the ice pack to my hand.
"Hey." Someone behind me said and I turned to see Ryan.
"Hi."
"Uum--" He started, but whatever he was going to say, he didn't. "What happened to your hand?" He asked rising an eyebrow.
"I hit it..." I answered vaguely, failing to stop the corners of my mouth from turning up. It was so ridiculous...
"Against what exactly?"
I couldn't open my mouth or I would've exploded in laughter. But I didn't have to answer anyways, cause the rest of the guys, including TAI... where getting to the vans too. And the cattle included a tall guy wearing sunglasses that didn't quite cover the purple spot on his left cheek.
"Here comes your answer."
"Wow, you got him good." Ryan turned to see William. I just smiled and shook my head, walking backwards and got into the next van, where I wouldn't be near Bill. Old habits die hard I guess, cause I realized I wouldn't be riding that van ever again. After years of doing so.
The pain on my hand faded as a cold feeling appeared inside my chest and I slid my shades on, leaning on the van just to get a glimpse of Bill. He also turned his head in my direction, but nothing in his body language made noticeable if he saw me or not. It was a waste of time, I told myself, and finally climbed the van.

.Part Eighteen.
Spark up, spark up like a book of matches
Taylor’s POV
I didn’t even notice Bill’s presence in the van till we arrived to the venue and Jon shook Ryan (and me) awake. For such a bony kid he surely was comfortable to sleep on… I shrugged and stretched my arms as William got off the van heavily, enough for me to know he was hangover. My first instinct was to get him aspirin and coke, then I remembered he could get those himself from now on. Ryan nudged me and I stepped down the van, waving slightly to him and going to set up the merch post.
Between yawns and eye rubs I managed to get it set, slower than usual but at least the job was done. I couldn’t believe I’d say this, but I was going to miss it. The touring, the boxes, packing and repacking…
With another yawn I was really considering to lie inside one of the boxes and get a nap when Natalie came nearly skipping to the post and sat on the table.
“Salutations, my friend!” She said with a chuckle. I raised an eyebrow.
“Did you lose your spaceship or what?”
“Huh? Are you calling me an alien?” She asked confused. Seriously, I loved this girl, but sometimes she’s just… dumb.
“Basically…” I said with another yawn. “Where is your spacemate?”
“Meet and greet?” She shrugged “I think. I don’t keep tabs on him!”
“I see…” I laid my head on the table. “So how did it go last night? Apart from the obvious sex…”
“And what makes you think we had sex? We’re just two kids who know how to have fun.” Nat giggled and balanced her legs like a little kid. She had to be kidding me… I slid my shades down my nose and stared at her raising an eyebrow.
“The only person here with an IQ lower than 50 is you, Nat.”
“Fuck off.” She said rolling her eyes and making me snort. “Who pissed in your cereal this morning?”
“No one, I’m just being mean to you for all I won’t be able to after I’m gone…” I finished the phrase with another yawn. I realized I was going to miss that slut too.
“I’m in the same boat, remember? I’m supposed to be leaving too. What happened with Ryan?”
“Nothing, we went back to the room, got drunk and talked till we fell asleep.” As I spoke I grabbed the nearest shirt pile and put my head on it comfortably. Then, something Ryan said last night came back to my mind. “Not all of us share the luck to be invited to Europe.” I added with a smirk. Nat’s jaw dropped open, gaping like a fish.
“How the hell do you know about that?”
“Duh… Who do you think told me?” I looked at her again. “Question is, what did you answer?”
“I haven’t. I’m not sure yet...” She faced the floor, looking at her swinging legs.
“I’m not even asking if you want to go, cause that’s kind of obvious… What’s keeping you?”
“I’m not doing this all over again.” She sighed. And I couldn’t blame her really. “I mean, I know we’re friends, but he asked me AFTER we spent the night together. What am I supposed to think?”
“Nat, Brendon really, REALLY likes you. He’s wanted to ask you for ages! And treats you a whole lot better than that other twat you were with. Why don’t you talk to him? Set things straight…”
“Because I seriously don’t want to be there just to be his concubine! They have a full crew already. I don’t know how the other guys feel and then the fans…” She said with a shudder, lowering her voice and glancing around like someone could hear us. “They are so evil.” I chuckled, remembering something I read on the internet about Panic and their evil fandom of doom.
I shook my head. “That’s why I said TALK TO HIM. Not fuck him in a bathroom or fuck him in the plane or fuck him all over Europe. Talk to him and ask him what intentions does he have. Besides, he already knows what happened with Carden, so I don’t think he’s up for the same thing.”
“But I’ll be alone.” She said with a groan and a pout. “No girl company!”
“Spencer will be there.” I laughed.
“Spencer is tainted. Me and Bren caught him fapping on the phone with Haley a few days ago.” Nat giggled along, making me gag cause I did not need that piece of information, really.
“Well, Bren is gay enough to be your girlfriend and straight enough to be your boyfriend. You’re covered.” I got back to be comfy on top of the shirt pile. Nat sighed.
“Why are you trying to talk me into this when you won’t even be there for me to yell at after the first fight?” She said in a pitiful tone. I looked at her and smirked.
“Are you saying you’re going to miss me?”
“Of course I’ll miss my bedmate! Who am I going to keep warm with now?” She said at if it was something scandalous that I wouldn’t be sharing a bed with her anymore. Some crew guys were walking by and definitively heard her, giving us funny looks. Nat turned a little red and I laughed out loud.
“Brendon, by instance!” I added between giggles. “Still, what are you going to do instead? Go home and get bored? I won’t be there either... and I’d pick Brendon over me too. I ain’t buying a strap-on…” I deadpanned and Nat laughed again.
“You’re right.” She said “Ugh, I’ll go. I can spy on Ryan for you too.” She added slyly.
“Yeah, you do that”
“You just be prepared to listen to my rants when I call.”
“I’ll be... and let you talk by yourself and do something else in the meantime.” I giggled. Nat didn’t find it that amusing.
“Haha. I guess I should go find him and give him my answer.”
“You should…” Back to the shirt pile, I heard Nat hop off the table. She took a breath and lowered her head to where I was, whispering.
“And, holy fuck, have you seen Bill today? He looks like shit.”
I didn’t need her to tell me that, I had already seen enough to know how he was. But that didn’t stop the cold feeling in my chest. “I haven’t and I don’t want to…”
“Yeah, right, sorry.” She muttered and cleared her throat. “Okay so, I’ll be right back.”
Nat straightened her shirt and walked through the lot heading to the Panic dressing room. I sighed watching her walk away, thinking how much I was going to miss everything and everyone. Mike, Michael and Mikey, Tony, Chris… Even Sisky and his constant annoyingness. Even William…
But that’s over and done with, for better or worse… Only 12 hours, I said to myself. 12 hours and I’d be going back home, to start over, to stop living his life and get one of my own again. Just hold on for 12 more hours.
.~
Natalie’s POV
I trudged towards the dressing room, but I could feel eyes burning into my back. I turned around to see Mike and Sisky coming around the corner, walking behind me.
“What’s up Nat, where ya goin’?” Adam asked.
“Hey. I-”
“Looking for her boyfriend,” Mike butted in quite snobbily.
I rolled my eyes. “Fuck off.” I said, and kept walking.
“Too late!” He called after me as I found the door with “PATD” taped to the door.
I knocked softly, and Shane opened up and smiled. “Oh B... you’ve got company...”
I giggled. “Hi, Shane.”
Brendon came around the corner then, nodding to Shane, the corners of his mouth turning up when he saw me. “What’s up?” He asked, taking me by the hand and stepping outside the door.
“I’ve um… made a decision.”
He grinned and waited for my answer. “So?”
I nodded. “I’ll go. But on one condition…”
He hugged me tightly and continued to smile. “Anything!”
I bit my lip and stammered. “I don’t want to be… I don’t want to repeat history, you know? Our friendship worked Bren, and I just… It would hurt my feelings if…” I sighed. “I want more than a fuck buddy.”
He smiled sweetly and caressed my cheek. “But you ARE more than just a fuck buddy, Nat. And I would never do what that ass did to you.”
I smiled back at him shyly, and kissed his cheek, an inch or two away from his lips. “Will you protect me from your fangirls too?”
“Course I will…” Brendon smiled widely, cupping my face and kissing me sweetly. Then he pulled away and looked at me before wrapping me into his arms and kissing me deeper. I kissed him back hard, letting my hand rest at the back of his neck.
“I should let you go back to practice, right?”
“Whatever…” He mumbled against my lips.
I stifled a giggle and pressed my body a little closer, pushing his back against the wall of the slender hallway.
We kissed until we were interrupted. Rudely.
“Excuse us. We’d like to get through now.” William said, still looking like shit, except giving me the evil eye with Mike the moron behind him.
Brendon glared at both before giving me his full attention again. “Yeah, I better get back or Ryan’ll cut my balls off or something.” He kissed me once more. “Besides, we’ll have all the time in the world when we’re in Europe.”
I grinned and gave him another quick kiss. “So I’ll see you after the show then.”
He kissed me quickly and gave my butt a light squeeze before disappearing back behind the dressing room door.
“Well, isn’t that special,” William spat, folding his arms condescendingly. “Hopping from one bed right into another.”
My mouth dropped open and I stared at him in disbelief. He’d never been vicious to me, at all.
“It’s not like that, Bill. Everyone isn’t like your friend. Interested in using me for my body.” I retorted, narrowing my eyes and walking away from the outside of Panic’s door.
“Oh please. Can’t trust you, or your girlfriend Taylor.” Bill replied, getting louder. “You hopped right into Brendon’s bed from Mike’s and she hopped right into Ryan’s from mine.”
My jaw dropped.
Even Mike looked at Bill a little funny.
That’s when the door opened back up. I bit my lip and convinced myself to look up, meeting Ryan’s eyes. He looked from me, to William, to Mike, and back to me again.
He glared at William again. “How- What? You don’t have any right to say that about her. About either of them…”
“I have a right to say whatever I want. But hey, it’s not my problem that you want our leftovers.”
“More like Taylor got tired of having Christine’s leftovers.”
My eyes widened, and I saw two heads poking out of the door behind Ryan.
“Listen you little… that’s none of your business, ok?”
“Let’s just go, Bilvy... It’s not worth it.” Mike said to him.
Ryan glared at them both as they started walking away. “Asshole.” He muttered.
I sighed and shook my head. “Go inside and calm down. I’ll see you guys later.” I started to walk away, but stopped myself. “Oh, and hey Ryan,” He turned to face me. “Thanks.” I said. He smiled and nodded.
I left in a hurry, anxious to find Taylor and tell her EVERYTHING that just happened.
I ran up to the table where she was and sat in the chair beside her.
“Oh my god, guess what?”
“What? You’re leaving in your spaceship with Brendon?” She grumbled, half asleep.
“Okay, I’ll ignore that,” I scoffed rolling my eyes. “Ryan and Bill just had a ‘confrontation’.” I explained quickly.
“What?!” She exclaimed, miraculously wide awake now.
“Yeah,” I continued, picking my nails. “Bill and Mike saw Brendon and I, and well… had a few things to say. Bill did at least. But Ryan, he came out and told him he didn’t have any right saying anything about either of us.”
Taylor made fists with her hands and snarled, “What did Bill say?”
I bit my lip. I knew I had to handle this tactfully. . “Um, he called me a bed-hopper…”
“I’m guessing he didn’t say anything nicer about me.” Taylor said through clenched teeth.
I looked down. “He said he was sorry Brendon and Ryan wanted his and Mike’s leftovers… But then Ryan said you didn’t want Christine’s leftovers...”
“Damn right I don’t!” Taylor got up and started pacing. “What else did he say?”
I shrugged. “That was it, really. Except that we weren’t trustworthy. Ugh, he was being a douche.”
“He’s not saying a fucking thing about me… oh no…” Taylor was steamed. Her fists clenched and she bit her lip, jaw set angrily. She started mumbling incoherently. “He’s such a uugghh! I’m gonna give him something to talk about…” Then she faced me again. “Stay here, I’ll be right back.”
And with that she was off, stomping and fuming. The only thing that came to mind was that I was glad I wouldn’t be around to see Mt. Taylor erupt.

.Part Sixteen.
Do you feel alive?
Natalie’s POV
“Are you okay?” Brendon asked me once we were safely back inside his room. I nodded and stepped out of my heels, sitting on the dresser and watching him. “Are you sure?”
“Yes, I’m fine. I promise.” I replied, swinging my legs.
“Good.” He replied, staring at me and taking a seat on the closest bed.
“So, let’s have those drinks now?”
“Of course.” Brendon said with a smirk. He walked over to the minibar and tossed me a mini bottle of rum out of it, filling two small glasses with ice. “I’m really proud of you.”
“Really, why?” I asked, pouring the contents of the liquor bottle into the glass he handed me.
“Because you didn’t back down from him. And if the way he acted tonight was any indication of how he treated you, he doesn’t deserve you at all.”
I smiled.
Brendon always knew what to say to make me smile.
And I don’t even think he did it on purpose. Above everything, even our obvious attraction, Brendon was my friend and that was important to me. It brought along a whole new issue. Did I really want to put our friendship on the line? What if I messed things up somehow? What if he lost interest? Where would that leave us then?
“What are you thinking right now?” He asked, voice smooth and husky from the booze. He pulled a cigarette pack from his pocket and slipped one into his mouth, patting down his shirt pocket for his lighter.
I shrugged. “Just... about how sweet you are.”
He grinned adorably and took the cigarette from between his lips and sat it on the bed. “I think you’re sweet too Nat. So sweet.” He said, standing up and approaching me. I watched him until he stopped directly in front of me, cupping my chin in his hand. I licked my lips quickly, just before he kissed me. I started feeling all warm and tingly, though it was probably the rum, and Brendon took my hand in his, pulling me down from the dresser and leading me back to his bed.
My breath caught up in my throat as I scooted to the top of the bed. He followed, lying next to me with his head on the pillow. I bit my lip and he gently caressed my cheek, tucking my hair behind my ear.
Suddenly he pulled me closer, our bodies pressed together firmly. We were full on making out now, and I was so into it. Feeling so much freer than I had earlier, I relaxed completely into Brendon’s kiss, fully appreciating his skilled tongue and full lips. He was obviously enjoying himself too as he groaned and groped me. “Nat,” He whispered against my ear and gripping the hem of my dress. “Can I?”
I nodded. Brendon began pushing the dress up my thigh slowly. He kissed my lips again, tracing them with his tongue and pulling away. He knelt over me and we locked eyes. Grinning mischievously, he helped me out of my dress, peeling it away slowly and sitting back to admire his handiwork. I leaned up on my elbows, holding his gaze, his big, deep chocolate colored orbs shining and staring right back.
“Well, are you just gonna sit there and stare?” I asked in a sassy voice.
He chuckled and shook his head, running his hands up and down my sides, I held my breath as he found his way around the front, cupping both breasts. He started kissing my neck again, and swiftly unhooked the front clasp of my bra. He pushed the bra aside and covered my boobs with his hands, and took to massaging them both. I swear I heard him moan softly when he kissed his way down and licked each nipple earnestly. It turned me on.
Even through his clothes I could feel him getting hard against my leg as I stroked his hair. He took his time licking and sucking at both breasts, always caressing and kneading the opposite one, making me squirm beneath him.
“I’ve been waiting for this,” He confessed, raising up high enough to meet my lips again. I kissed him hungrily, unbuttoning his shirt. He took over, yanking the shirt off and unbuckled his own belt. I moved my hands up and down his smooth chest and stomach. He was slim, but nicely built and firm.
“Brendon...” I whispered breathlessly as he wriggled out of his snug fitting pants. Our thin underwear was the only material between us and we started kissing again, skin against skin. “Y-you don’t think I’m a slut, do?”
He scoffed. “You actually think I believe anything he said? Of course he’s mad,” He told me in between kisses. “He won’t ever get his hands on you again.” He kissed my neck and shoulders, desperately rubbing up against me. I smirked and began pulling my own panties over my hips.
“I just don’t want... want this to ruin our friendship.” I said in a small voice.
“It wont, it won’t baby. I value... what we have-” Brendon replied quickly, gulping and being helpful with the panty removal. He pulled them down my legs and tossed them to the floor. “Our friendship.” He panted, licking his lips. I wanted to laugh at his expression so badly, but the trailing of his index finger across my slit kept me from doing so. Instead, I moaned, raising my hips against him. He inserted his finger, pumping it in and out while licking at my nipples again.
“Ohhh, I want you. Right now.” I moaned loudly.
He paused. “There’s so much I want to do to you,” He smirked. “But I guess I can wait.”
I nodded anxiously, pulling the waist of his undies.
“Hold on love, just one. More. Minute.” He leaned down and kissed me softly, rolling off the bed. After fumbling around in a suitcase for a while, he made his way back to the bed grinning. He pulled a condom from the package in his hand and tossed the bag onto the other bed. I watched as he slipped his hands into his shorts, letting my knees fall apart.
“Shiiiit.” He groaned, jaw dropping when he noticed I was touching myself. He moaned softly and climbed back onto the bed. He was all over me then, kissing me passionately and pushing my hand away, replacing it with his dick, nestling the tip at my entrance. I cursed, bucking my hips. He whimpered and thrust inside, filling me in one fluid motion.
We instantly synchronized, panting and moaning like crazy, working our bodies against each other. My nipples stiffened and ached as they rubbed against his chest, and he buried his face into the side of my neck, picking up speed.
“Brendon,” I gasped as he pounded me over and over. He barely grunted a reply. “Baby,” I repeated, stroking the back of his neck, near his hairline and he moaned. He was already a sweaty mess, so I kept sweeping his hair back from his forehead. He licked his lips and kissed me quickly, biting down on my lip before pulling back.
He was thrusting harder now, pumping like a mad man and I called out for him, squealing his name, twisting the sheets in my hands. The pressure that was building with each thrust was amazing. I knew I was going to come soon. I moaned for him to keep going harder, going deeper... He complied, already beginning to shake and shudder.
Brendon’s kisses became frantic and sloppy as I worked my muscles on him, making him come instantly. His eyes rolled and closed and he whined ever so adorably against my cheek. I stroked his hair and monitored his breathing as he lay still on top of me. Usually, I would have been upset at being brought to the peak, but left unsatisfied, but just being able to see my effect on him was gratifying to me.
“Are you ok?” I whispered, dropping kisses on his head as he lay there. I could feel that his heartbeat was slowly coming back down to normal.
He nodded.
Once. And didn’t move again.
I bit my lip, smiled and cradled him until his breathing was even and he was fast asleep.
.~
Taylor’s POV
With another couple of drinks, I filled Ryan with the Nat/Carden drama. We laughed at the silliness of the whole situation, but it was a relief to have it over with, Nat had been gone through a lot with that asshole and besides, she really got along with Brendon. Ryan said the only thing Brendon talked about the last week was Nat, so I guess they both wanted this too bad. As the subject ran out I could feel the questions in Ryan’s head. We never talked about me and William, he never asked and I never said a thing, but now…
“Ryan, you’re thinking too loudly.”
“Well, I don’t know…” He said, playing with the ice in his glass. “You know, I didn’t exactly know how to ask without sounding…”
“What do you wanna know?”
“Like… you and Bill. How exactly did it…”
“Alright...” I said with a smile. “Um... it’s kind of a long story.”
“We’ve got all night, remember? I’m all ears.” He said with a half smile. He was so cute…
“Fine, but...let’s get out of here.” I said and finished my drink. Ryan did the same and chuckled.
“You lead. I’m homeless tonight.”
“Yeah, I can see how sad you are bout that…” We walked arm in arm to the elevators.
“I’m totally sad, see?” He said with a fake pout.
“Right…” I giggled and led him upstairs.
Once in my room, Ryan laughed at the fact that we had only one bed for Nat and me. The real reason of why we were always left with the single bed, I never knew, but I guess it had to do with their wicked fantasies about two girls together. We settled comfortably on the king size and I sat Indian style, taking a deep breath.
“Well, it’s been a while since I’ve worked with TAI…” I started. It stung a little, but I felt like I needed it out of my system.
So I told him about when I started touring with him, Bill’s breakdown and how I was there, the making of Santi, how our innocent friendly relationship evolved to friends with benefits, the Christine part of the deal, how I had found out about the baby… basically everything since the first time I met William. Ryan sat by my side listening in silence except to ask a few clarifying questions till I finished with the events of earlier that night, details not included, obviously.
I didn’t even realize I was crying, I don’t usually let myself cry in front of other people, but I was tired and drunk enough not to care.
“So, now you know everything.” I said whipping my eyes and gulping the last little bottle of rum left in the mini bar.
“Then I was right…” Ryan said looking at me from the pillow.
“About?”
“He’s an ass who doesn’t deserve you.” He said with a lazy blink. “It seems that you as well as Nat managed to get rid of them tonight.”
“Yeah, it was about time.” I smiled and lied in front of him on the bed.
Between the alcohol induced dizziness and being dead tired, I managed to get under the covers. I was half asleep when I heard Ryan asking something, I nodded without even knowing what was he asking, but when he spooned me from behind I realized what the question was.
I fell asleep with a smile.

.Part Fifteen.
We’ve got a big, big mess on our hands tonight
Natalie’s POV
Kisses grew more and more urgent as we lie there. We both knew this was a long time coming.
The question was how far it was going to go.
Our fingers interlocked as we made out, bodies pressed together, hips grinding blatantly. The voice inside my head was screaming for me to stop. Pleading with me to push him away and go back to my room but I just couldn’t. Everything felt so right. Brendon gently massaged my thigh with one hand as my tongue massaged his eagerly. His hand rose as he hovered over me, and squeezed as his kisses got deeper and a lot more anxious. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled back some in order to slow him down. “What’s wrong?” He whispered, thick brows furrowing slightly.
“Nothing,” I answered. “Let’s just slow things down a little.”
Brendon smiled and I caressed his face. I felt a little tense, lying there in his bed when I was still tied up with Mike. Even though I knew it wasn’t going anywhere. It was obvious he didn’t want me for anything other than sex, and it was stupid of me to keep it going when I liked Brendon so much. Like, a lot. We had gotten to know each other pretty well and I didn’t want to end up hurting him.
“Nat,” Brendon breathed, moaning against my skin and snapping me out of my thoughts.
“Yeah?” I stroked the back of his neck and he pressed our lips together again hard, sliding a hand up my body. He brought it to a rest just beneath my right breast.
“I want you...” He confessed, hips bucking and making me whimper.
My body was screaming, ‘Yes! Yes! Brendon, I want you too, take me please!’, but my conscience was telling me something completely different.
“Brendon,” I managed to choke between kisses.
“Please? Do you want me to beg Natalie?” He groaned, now cupping and kneading the same breast, gently sucking at my neck. “Please?” I huffed, squeezing my eyes closed. “Please?”
He wasn’t lying about begging.
“Brendon...” I whispered before he reclaimed my lips. We kissed slow and deliberate, but when he literally started grinding his erection against my thigh I knew I had to stop this. I had to tell him the truth.
“Okay, wait.” I said, taking a deep breath.
“What, what is it?” Brendon asked in a sultry voice, attaching to my neck again.
“There’s something, there’s something you need to know. I have to tell you...” I trailed off.
“Believe me, it can wait.” He groaned, teasing and rubbing my nipples through the fabric of my dress. I moaned involuntarily. “See? It can wait.” He smirked, looking me over. I’m presuming to figure out the quickest way to get me undressed.
I couldn’t even speak as he pushed the bottom of the dress up my hips, over my hips to my stomach… hard breathing, fingers tracing the lacy fringe of my panties…
“I’m sleeping with Mike!” I blurted out.
“What?” Brendon asked, halting his actions.
My eyes shut. I couldn’t even look at him. “I’ve been sleeping with Mike. Since the end of Warped.” I sighed.
Brendon sat up scratching his head and I bit down hard on my bottom lip tugging my dress back down and scooting against the headboard. “Mike, the drum tech?” He asked cluelessly.
I shook my head.
“Carden?” I nodded. He sighed. “Is it serious?”
I shook my head again. “No.”
We sat in silence for an awkward moment.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He had turned to stare at me, waiting for my answer. I looked away.
“I don’t know.”
“Fuck, you can do better than that, Nat.”
“I don’t know, Brendon, it was supposed to be…”
“What? Supposed to be what?”
I finally looked at him. “It’s hard to explain...”
“Try.” He retorted, dryly.
Defeated, I broke down and told him everything. How it started, how Mike got me on the tour and what the arrangements were. I told him there were no sparks or even a real friendship between us. I told him how we always fought or ignored each other and how bad it made me feel sometimes. He asked me why I didn’t just stop it, and I told him I was afraid of being sent home.
Bringing my knees up to my chest, I watched and waited for his reaction.
“Well, fuck...” He said with sigh, sitting on his knees and scratching his head. “How could you...”
“I know I fucked up.” I sighed.
“I really like you, you know?” He said, looking over at me, then sighed and bit his lip. “But...”
There’s always a ‘but’.
“But?”
“Break up, or whatever. With him.”
“I’ve been thinking that I’d just quit and go home anyway.” I shrugged.
“That’s okay, you won’t go home. If…” I stared bewildered as he rose from the bed. “You do it now. C’mon.”
“Wait, what? Where are we going?” I stammered, getting up slowly.
“Carden is downstairs in the bar with the rest of the guys…” Brendon said matter of fact-ly, getting his shoes back on. I did the same and rubbed my left eye. My heart was thumping hard as hell. I didn’t want to do this in front of everyone.
“In front of everybody?”
“You can call him aside, but it has to be now.” He said, folding his arms across his chest.
I nodded. “I’m doing it now.”
“Awesome,” He grinned, pulling me close and kissing me gently. “And once it’s over, we can come back and finish that song.” I smiled as he kissed me again, and we left the room together.
Brendon and I shared a few kisses in the elevator on the way down, but I still felt really nervous for some reason. When we got to the bar, I heard Gabe and Sisky’s laughter before I saw any of them.
When I spotted the group, I walked to the table hesitantly and tapped Mike’s shoulder.
“Hey, can we talk for a min-”
“Heeyyy it’s Nat-a-lie. Nat. Heyyy gurl.” Gabe giggled.
“Hi guys.” I gave him and the others a small smile and then looked back at Mike, who was staring at me weirdly with a slightly drunken smile on his face.
Gabe took that opportunity to wrap himself around me, hugging his arms around my neck since he was so much taller than me, while I struggled to detach myself. “Had a bit to drink, did ya Gabey?” I chuckled as I eased out of his grip.
“A little... Hey, why don’t you have one, hey, hey Ry-Ry,” He slurred to Ryland. “Grab Nat a drink.”
“No, no, I just need to talk to Mike for a minute, okay?” I said, giving Mike another look and heading out of the bar area to wait for him.
.~
Taylor’s POV
I entered the bar in a daze. I didn’t even realize there were other people there and didn’t really care about it. My brain was already shutting off everything around me, which was good, it would take less alcohol to do so. I settled on a stool and ordered a raspberry daiquiri, taking deep breaths and deep sips one at the time. Locking up memories, picking up the pieces, finding what was left and what to keep.
I’ve become a walking cliché. That’s for sure.
“He doesn’t deserve you, you know?” A tipsy voice knocked down the silence in my head and I looked up startled. Ryan gulped down the last of his long island ice tea and sat by my side.
“He doesn’t?” I asked with a little smile, playing with the straw of my already empty drink.
“Nope.” Ryan shook his head. “Look, I won’t pretend to know everything that went on between the two of you, but he’s an ass who was cheating on his girlfriend for a long time and never had the balls to make up his damn mind.”
I blinked. It was a harsh way to put it but he was right.
“Not even now.” He continued. “He’s only picking Christine cause he has to.” I looked at him while he motioned the bartender for a refill on both glasses. Apparently, the Beckett baby wasn’t that much of a secret. “But… his loss if you ask me, he should’ve done something sooner.”
“And what makes you think he would’ve picked me?”
“I don’t know.” Ryan shrugged. “I don’t know her, and I’ve barely known you for a couple of weeks. All I know is no one deserves what you’re going through. You’re better than that.”
I watched him gulp half of his drink and smiled. “Thank you.”
I went back to sipping my drink when I saw, Nat? I thought she was out with Brendon. I looked at her curiously and also saw Brendon behind the entrance, hiding? What the fuck? Ryan looked at me and followed my line of vision, putting the same confused face. And then, I see Carden, walking towards Nat, obviously tipsy, and I huffed in understanding. Ryan looked at me then and I motioned to keep quiet so I could listen.
Mike got close to Nat and wrapped an arm around her waist.
“I thought it was our night off, sweetheart.” He slurred with a smirk. I felt like punching him, he was such an ass. Nat obviously thought the same and, to my surprise, slithered away from his grasp.
“We’re definitively off, I just wanted to talk.” She said.
“Talk?” Carden laughed at Nat. Again, I wanted to break his nose. “You’ve never wanted to talk before.” He hugged her again. “What if we do something else instead? Hmm?” And he bit her neck.
Ryan looked at me again. “What the hell?”
“Long story.” I said with a shrug. Brendon was still spying behind the door, so I assumed he already knew. Ryan shook his head and kept watching.
Nat pulled away again. “Mike, Stop. I’m being serious.” Carden rolled his eyes and sighed.
“Fine, what do you wanna talk about?”
Nat sighed and bit her fingernail. “I wanna talk about us. Or the fact that there isn’t really an ‘us’ to begin with.”
Holy shit. She’s calling it off with Carden?
“What do you mean by that?” Carden asked, obviously put off.
Nat sighed again and glanced behind her, to Brendon. “This isn’t working for me. It’s too hard. And honestly, I want more than sex, Mike.”
“So, this is it?” Carden looked over Nat’s shoulder to the door. Brendon wasn’t fast enough to hide. “Oh, I get it.” Then he grabbed her arm roughly and I nearly jumped on him, but Ryan held me back. “You know what this means, right?”
“Yeah, and I don’t care. Now let me go!” She said trying to pull her arm free. “Carden, let me go or I’ll start yelling.”
Mike let her go after that and ran that same hand through his hair. “Fine. It’s over. Though I could give Brendon some tips, don’t you think?” He added with a smirk. How much of a prick can a guy be?
Nat was obviously wondering the same as she rolled her eyes and shook her head. “It’s been over for me. And don’t hold your breath for my answer.”
“But he’s right there!” Mike said loudly, pointing to the bad hidden Brendon. “Come here, Urie! Let me tell you some things about our little friend Nat.”
“Fuck off, Carden! God, you’re such an asshole!” Nat yelled as Mike already walked to Brendon, putting an arm around his shoulder and dragging him to where Nat was.
“Wanna know a few things about Nat? I could tell you a few things.” Carden said with a half smile. Ryan let go of my arm and I saw him fisting his hands.
I swear, if Nat didn’t knock that grin right off Carden’s face, I would.
“To begin with her…” Carden started, but couldn’t finish. Nat pushed him away from Brendon and gave him the pointy finger.
“You don’t have shit on me! Hey, why don’t you tell everybody here how you’ve been using me and now that I’m fed up with your shit, you’re throwing a tantrum like a 3 year old?”
“I wasn’t using you, Nat! You agreed to this on your own!” Carden spat right back at her. “I never forced you to anything and I can tell you enjoyed yourself.” Said that, he shoved Nat to Brendon’s side. “Good luck with your slut.”
That was it! That motherfucker was going down. I stood up ready to jump on his ass when Nat slapped his face, the sound making all the people in the bar shut up and look at them. Nat glared at Carden, who straightened up and glared right back, before turning away and going back to the table, ordering another drink.
“Finally!” I said hugging Nat. “Now you can get over yourself and do Brendon!” Ryan snickered and elbowed Brendon, who blushed a lot.
“He’s such an asshole!” Nat said with a sigh.
“Yeah, we know.” Brendon said grinning. “But you did it!! And now…” He added with a smirk.
“You can go be sluts together?” Ryan said with a knowing grin. Nat glared at him.
“You want some too, slim?” She threatened.
“Not if you wanna go through me, Natalie.” I said smirking. Ryan nodded smiling.
“I’ve got one hell of a bodyguard.” He joked, making Nat roll her eyes.
“I’m so sure, I’ll talk to you in the morning. I think I need a drink myself.”
Brendon linked his hand with Nat and smiled slyly. “Well, half of the stash in the minibar is still there.”
“Stay off my bed!” Ryan warned. “Or not, we’re leaving in the morning anyway…” He chuckled and smiled a little at me, handing me my drink.
Nat smiled to Brendon. “I do so enjoy your drunken singing.” She giggled. “Night guys!”
I waved to them while Brendon practically dragged Nat away.
“So.” I cleared my throat. “I hope you don’t mind sharing a room with me.”
“Better with you than those two having sex by my side. Brendon is noisy.” He said sipping his drink. I giggled.
“Nat is too. And if you don’t ask how I know, I won’t either.”
“Deal.”

.Part Fourteen.
Everything we had
Taylor’s POV
I must have been at least 10 minutes standing outside Bill’s door, pacing back and forth, wanting to run the hell away from there or making up my mind to knock. In my head, I kept repeating myself this encounter was pointless. It wouldn’t change things, Christine would still be pregnant, he’d still be with her and I’d still leave in a couple of days. Why were we even going to discuss it? It’s already decided… right? I paced around for another minute and then stopped leaning on the wall in front of the door again, taking a deep breath, trying to decide. But I didn’t, cause William decided to open the door.
His hair was a mess and he looked paler than usual, the black beneath his eyes increasing the effect. It almost made me feel sorry for him, but then I realized I must have looked just as bad, or maybe worse. I crossed my arms and looked at him briefly, feeling my stomach become a tight knot. It was too late to run now.
“Hey.” He said softly.
“Hi.”
After a few seconds in silence and failing to move, William cleared his throat and motioned me in, mumbling something I didn’t catch. I took a deep breath and walked into the room slowly. The door closed behind us. I stood in the middle of the room facing the floor while Bill paced around.
“Want anything?” He said.
I shook my head. “Just say what you have to say.”
“Tay…” He sighed and sat on the bed in front of me, though I was still facing the floor. “Tony told me you’re leaving.”
“Yeah, I’m… I gave him my two weeks notice, I’ll leave when we get back home.” I said crossing my arms.
“Why?”
Oh, God, why is he even asking?
“Why? Cause I have nothing to do here anymore. If I stayed…” I sighed and rubbed my face. “If I stayed it was because of you.” I looked at him then. Hell, what was the point of hiding anything now?
William got up from the bed and stood in front of me. “Then stay. I’m not going anywhere!”
“I can’t. Bill…” I stopped and gulped. “You have a pregnant girlfriend. And I’m…” I stopped cause I felt the tears burning in my eyes and I wasn’t going to cry there.
“You’re you and I need you.” He said stepping a little closer. I bit my lip and looked up, sucking the tears in.
“What for? For when Christine gets too fat for you to fuck?” I shook my head and stepped back. “Don’t you get it? I can’t do this anymore…”
“Why? What’s the difference now?” I looked at him exasperated. How can he not notice? How can he not know?
“The difference is that I’m in love with you, William! Cause if I stayed was only out of hope!” I bit my lip hard and faced the floor again, not standing to see his face, whatever expression he had. “You’re not picking me. You have a son or daughter now, and a girlfriend and I have nothing left to do here. That’s it. That’s why.”
“Tay…” William stepped closer and I stepped back, repeating the same process till I hit the wall and couldn’t keep getting away.
“Look, this is already hard enough.” I said trying to stop him, but he grabbed my shoulders lightly. “William, let me go.” I whispered, still looking down. But he wouldn’t. “Let me go.” I said a little louder. Again, he didn’t, instead he tightened his grip and placed his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes to keep me from looking at him. “Let me go!” I repeated, slapping his chest and fisting his shirt. But he didn’t move.
“Push me away.” He said. “Push me away and I’ll let you go.” His hands cupped my face and I opened my eyes to see him staring right back at me. “Push me away and I promise I will never bother you again.”
It took me less then a second to decide what to do, I guess I didn’t even think about it that much. And no, I didn’t push him away, I pulled him closer by his shirt and we started kissing hard, almost painfully, as if I wanted to hurt him. It was certainly hurting me.
It was the first time I thanked the powers for his buttoned up shirts, cause I gripped it tightly and ripped it open, making the buttons pop all over the floor. William groaned and pressed me against the wall while I dived my hands to his chest and over his shoulder, making the shirt fall to the ground. I closed my eyes feeling I was going to cry again and sighed as his mouth went to my neck and his hands slid under the tank top I was wearing. They felt warm and familiar against my skin, touching and caressing the right places, making me groan and throw my head back. Bill pulled away and lifted the shirt up and off, staring at my failure to wear a bra, cause I hadn’t even bothered in dressing up.
William wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer, kissing me deeply as I threw my arms around his neck, stroking his shoulders and tangling my fingers in his hair, tugging lightly.
“I miss you…” He whispered in my ear, his hands dropping to my hips and then my thighs, making me wrap them around him. I didn’t answer, instead I cupped his face and kissed him again while he gripped my butt and carried me to the bed, laying me there slowly without breaking the kiss.
I had stopped fighting with myself and the part of me that was screaming for me to pull away and get the fuck out was now quiet. I’d have to deal with it later, now I was going to enjoy this. I missed him, I wanted him, I
needed
him. And if this is the last time we’re going to be together, then I would make him remember me.
I didn’t even notice when we were completely naked, me wrapped around him, him filling me up to the hilt, moving in and out slowly, trying to make it last. His head was buried in the crook of my neck, his hot and ragged breath falling in my skin sending shivers all over my body as I clung to his back, bucking my hips to him urging him to go faster. And he complied, hooking the back of my knee with one hand and lifting my body slightly up with the other. Pressing his forehead against mine, William stared at me and I just couldn’t take it. The feeling ripping me apart was the best and the most painful thing ever at the same time.
I couldn’t recall the last time we had that much sex, used to escape to the bus when no one was there or having quickies backstage. Hotel nights weren’t a constant and even when we had one, we were never alone or didn’t have enough time. Not even talking about the breaks, when we wouldn’t see each other for weeks. Nights like this were sacred and always awesome, I wasn’t going to waste it, as bad as I felt.
‘I miss you’ and ‘I need you’ fell out of his mouth more than once, but I never said anything back. Not even the times he pleaded for me to stay I said something. I just couldn’t.
“Please, don’t go.” William begged with the last breath he had, before collapsing on top of me. The only thing we could hear was our panting. “Please…” He said wrapping his arms around my body and squeezing me close to him. I did the same. “Is there anything I can say or do to make you stay?” He asked hopefully. My first thought was to say no, but I’d be lying. I didn’t care about lying anymore.
“Tell me you love me and I’ll stay.” I said softly, already dropping my hands from his back. I closed my eyes and bit my lip, holding my breath waiting for an answer.
An answer that never came. As the silence stretched in the room, I pushed William off me and retrieved from the bed, getting my clothes back on. I heard him sit on the bed and I could feel his stare, but I didn’t turn. I was getting my shoes on when he dared to speak again.
“Tay…” His raspy and choked voice broke the silence.
“It’s over. There’s nothing left for me here.”
I stepped out of the room without even a glance to him and I let the door close on it own. I slowly walked to the elevators, somewhere between lightheaded and blinded. It felt like I got a weight off my shoulders, but it felt cold and weird and empty. And still, relieved, cause in more than one occasion I doubted I was capable of doing this. I did it. It hurts like a bitch and I know it will take time to heal and shit, but I did it.
With that thought and feeling a little better, I headed downstairs. After all, what better way to celebrate than having a drink?

Pick the poison and pour yourself a glass
Taylor’s POV
I waited for the guys to come out and closed the door behind me, I thought it was better if I kept the conversation in the hall instead of inside the room. At least I had somewhere to run off to.
I watched them get into the elevator before turning my attention back to William and cross my arms on my chest.
“So?”
“Um… Tay… we… we need to talk.” He stuttered. For some reason it wasn’t as adorable as it was 2 weeks ago. “Well, I was talking to Mike… or he was talking to me... and he t-thought I should... try and talk to you again…” He said, looking at the floor and fidgeting his feet.
“Do we even have something to talk about?”
“I just… hate that things ended badly. I care about you a-a lot…”
“No. Just… don’t do this.” I said shaking my head. “We don’t have time either.” I took a glance to my clock, we had to leave in ten minutes.
“But why? Why can’t we talk now? I miss having you around, Taylor.”
“Cause unless whatever you have to say takes you less than 10 minutes, the van will leave us here.”
“Okay, okay, meet me in my room tonight, and we can talk then.” He pouted. “Please?”
“I don’t think--”
“Please, please, Taylor.” He repeated, taking my hand in his. I snatched my hand back.
“Fine.” I mumbled, fighting internally with myself.
“Really?” He smiled a little. It almost made me smile too, but I didn’t. I nodded. “Great.”
“Yeah, I’ll… I’ll see you later then.” I didn’t wait for him to say anything, I didn’t even turn to see if he was following, I just made my own way down by the fire escape stairs. I certainly didn’t wanna share an elevator with him, I might have fainted!
The ride to the venue was short, silent and awkward. I avoided all kind of questioning looks from Nat and tried to act like nothing was wrong. But at least 3 people in that van knew there was something wrong and they weren’t hiding it. Brendon looking at me confused, Nat looking worried and Ryan looking… disappointed? Hell, I’d be too, after all it was Ryan who kept me cheered up and working, or I would’ve stayed locked up in my room till the tour was over.
“Snap! Taylor! Are you okay?” Nat said clapping in front of my face. I looked at her, glancing at the boys’ snack table and then back at me. “Is there a reason you’re zoning out here?”
I sighed. “What do you think?” I rubbed my face and went back to folding shirts. Nat groaned and sat on the counter.
“Seriously. Just talk to him and get it over with. No more stress.”
“Yeah, I know.” I sighed again. “We’re… talking tonight. I don’t even…” I stopped and huffed, thinking way too hard over it. “It’s not like we’re fixing anything though. I’m leaving by the end of the week anyways.” Even when I turned to pick another merch box, I could feel Nat shaking her head.
“So because William is an ass you’re just going to leave everyone else hanging?”
“I’m not. I already gave my two weeks notice to Tony.” I said lifting the box on the table and hiding my freaking head in it. “Besides, I already told you I can’t stay here.”
Nat sighed and picked on another box. “I can’t change your mind, but I really hope you reconsider. Maybe after your talk. And I’m going out tonight, and I don’t know what time I’ll be back in.”
And all of the sudden my stomach didn’t hurt. Instead, I raised an eyebrow. “And what about Carden?” I asked with a smirk. Nat rolled her eyes.
“What about him?”
“What about him?” I laughed. “You’re not going out with him, but with Brendon. Isn’t that going to get you in trouble?”
“He bored me enough for one day. And I want to have some fun. Besides, Brendon and I are just get along. We’re friends. If douch-face can’t respect that, then I guess I’m leaving too.” She said matter of fact-ly.
“Do him already and get over it.” I chuckled.
“Yeah, well, you make up with Bill.”
“Mmm, how bout… NO.”
Whatever she was gonna use as a comeback, she didn’t. Tony came by telling her the guys were waiting for her, so she silently left. I took my time then folding each shirt into separated piles, the stereo under the counter playing Santi on repeat. I felt like smashing it, but this still was TAI…’s merch post, as tired as I was of listening to William’s voice, especially after being there when those songs were written. But that didn’t matter anymore, it was all in the past, it was good while it lasted and too bad it ended the way it did, but there’s no way I’m coming back to that.
Or so I tried to convince myself of.
I knew I couldn’t trust myself with William, which made me think about our little ‘meeting’ over and over again. Still, part of me wanted to go, wanted to listen to whatever he had to say and was fool enough to have some hopes. The part of me that still loved him.
.~
Natalie’s POV
After we took down the merch table, Taylor and I left the rest to the crew and got all of our stuff ready to leave. I went to climb aboard the shuttle bus, but a slender arm reached out, grabbing me.
“You won’t forget about me tonight, right?” A voice whispered into my ear. I shook my head. “Good. I’ll see you after I’ve had time to change. We can meet at the bar in the lobby. Call me when you’re dressed,” He paused. “And wear something you can dance in.”
I chuckled and turned around, biting into my lip as Brendon winked and hopped up the bus steps.
Back at the hotel, I took time to find a nice outfit, which happened to be my only dress, but it wasn’t like I was trying to seduce him or anything, jeez. We were only going dancing.
Meanwhile in other news, Taylor was still sulking. I guess I just don’t understand the depth of she and William’s dealings. I’m glad I pretty much hate everything about Mike.
“Don’t you have someplace to go?” I teased, pulling out my lipgloss.
“I guess,” She said.
“Nothing left to do but get it over with. We’ve had this talk.” I chuckled.
“I know. Just go and have a nice time,” She replied, smiling faintly. “We’ll talk in the morning or whatever.”
I just raised an eyebrow. “Don’t let him upset you too much. And unless you plan on staying out, I’ll definitely see you later on. Stop trying to make Brendon happen!” I giggled, trying to make her laugh.
Taylor raised an eyebrow. “I know it will eventually happen. I don’t even have to try.” She sighed and started sorting through her clothes. “Poor Ryan, we’ll have to find another room.”
This time I raised my eyebrow. “Ryan? We as in the two of you?” I laughed. “Okay.”
“Not meeting Ryan tonight, remember?” She grumbled.
“No, I haven’t forgotten.” I popped my lips in the mirror and turned around. “How do I look?”
“Awesome.” She replied, not even glancing my way.
I rolled my eyes. “Gee, thanks. I’ve gotta go. We’ll talk later.” I said, making my way to the door. This was obviously something she needed to deal with alone. I’d already put my two cents in anyway.
She sighed again and waved me off as the door closed and I headed downstairs.
Once downstairs, there was no sign of Brendon, so I sat at the bar and ordered a drink.
Twenty minutes and two more long island iced teas later I was still alone. I was tapping my fingers on the bar and sipping my last drink slowly until I heard Gabe’s voice getting closer to the bar. Not really wanting to run into him just in case one, Mike was with him, or two, he’d talk me to sleep, I hopped off the bar stool and left the bartender his money for my drinks. I went out the opposite side of the bar, heading towards the back elevators.
“Nat?” I sighed and turned around to find Brendon looking at me uncertainly. “What are you doing ditching me?” He smiled.
“You’re late.” I replied, face remaining stoic.
“I’m sorry. Ryan needed to talk. You look upset. Are you upset? I’m sorry.”
I immediately felt bad and shook my head. “It’s okay, I’m sorry for being impatient.” He edged closer to me and gave me a brief hug. “Is he okay?” I asked.
Brendon nodded. “He’s fine. I guess he and Taylor, they really hit it off. She had to break their little, whatever tonight and he’s concerned. He’s with Gabe and Sisky and everyone though. He’s fine.”
“That’s exactly who I was trying to avoid...” I muttered.
“Well in that case, my room’s free?” He grinned goofily and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“What happened to dancing?” I asked.
He shrugged. “We can get drunk instead. That way I won’t make such a fool out of myself.”
I giggled and we entered the elevator, headed to the room he shared with Ryan.
.~
Close to an hour after we’d gone up, I was falling to my knees on the floor overcome with giggles. Brendon was standing barefoot on one of the beds with his acoustic, singing ‘Isis’ by Bob Dylan at the top of his lungs.
“Oh, oh my god, you’re d-drunk!” I laughed, more than a little intoxicated now myself.
“Yeah, I think.” He said with a chuckle. “Get up here and dance with me.” He threw the guitar down and grabbed my hands, pulling me up. I climbed onto the bed and we both stood up, staggering from the liquor and the soft mattress under our feet. We danced to our own beat, or the beat of the song in his head rather, one of his arms held steady around my waist. He continued singing, twirling and spinning me around and around.
“She said ‘Where ya been?’ I said...”
“Nowhere especial.” I continued for him, giggling still.
“She said ‘You look different’. I said, ‘Well I guess’. She said ‘You been gone’. I said ‘That’s only natural’” We sang together, dancing closer now.
“She said, ‘You gonna stay?’” Brendon sang quietly, smile faded, his forehead pressed against mine.
“If you want me to, yeah.” I answered breathily before our lips met and we fell down in unison on the bed, bodies entwined, lips locked.

This charade is never going to last
Mike’s POV
As I walked to Nat’s room I couldn’t help growing more and more nervous. What the fuck? I’m not supposed to be like this! It’s just about sex, right? Then why does it bother me so much? It bothers me that she doesn’t talk or look at me, it bothers me that she rather spend her time with anyone else but me, it bothered me that this meant really nothing to her, apparently.
Well, it was time to do something nice for her and this was it. I fixed my hair one last time and took a deep breath before knocking her door. Nat opened it without a word and let me in, walking back to the bed where she picked up her skirt and pulled it on. I noticed then her ass was still red from last night, but for some reason I couldn’t find it the least amusing.
I rubbed my face. “Hey, Nat. How are you?”
“Okay.” She shrugged. God, this shit wasn’t going to be easy.
“Alright…” I stuffed my hands in my pockets and watched her while she got ready. It’s not like I made any difference being there. “So, what do you wanna eat?”
She took her time finishing her hair before looking at me with a little smirk. “I thought you had this all planned out? It doesn’t matter to me.”
I raised an eyebrow, trying to remain calm. “Well, I want to be nice, so your pick. I think I owe you after last night.” I said with a smirk. Nat wasn’t amused though; she glared at me briefly and then sighed.
“I told you I already had lunch plans. You’re making me break them Mike. So you choose.”
“Why are you even going with me then?” I sighed and rubbed my face, looking at her blankly. Nat stared back unbelievingly and shook her head, shrugging off the question.
“Let’s just… go downstairs.”
But I wasn’t giving in so easily. If this was enough to bother me it might as well bother her. So I leaned on the door, not going anywhere. “No, seriously. I wanna know. Why are you agreeing to this if you don’t talk to me or look at me or nothing really?”
“Didn’t we go through this last night?” She said glaring slightly again. “You made it seem like I didn’t have a choice. But now that I’m willing to go through with it you’re asking questions?” She raised an eyebrow, confused. I know I was too.
“I’m asking cause I feel like I’m forcing you! And I don’t want that…” I stopped and sighed, trying to figure out what to say. “Whatever I said last night, I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable... hell, I don’t wanna feel uncomfortable and right now I do.” I pulled the sweetest face I could manage and looked at her.
“You’re not forcing me, I’m willing! So let’s just... go have lunch.”
“You sure?” I asked sheepishly.
“Yeah, I’m sure.” Nat smiled and grabbed the key card, sliding it into her cleavage and I had to repress a chuckle. “Ready if you are.” She said with another smile.
I smiled back and led her out the room, placing my hand on the small of her back.
But perhaps, this wasn’t such a great idea, cause after 10 minutes I couldn’t wait for her to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
“I don’t plan on doing this forever, you know? Being a stylist? I mean, once I wanted to be like, this superstar hairdresser for Britney Spears or Beyonce or somebody.” She laughed. “That was just me being young, and inexperienced. I’d totally take opening up my own salon instead of traveling around with spoiled celebrities. My dad thinks it’s a sign of me growing up. But then again, this is the same man who tried to get me into acting. It was fun for a while, I got some jobs, a few commercials even. But he’s sort of a stage dad. You know what that is, don’t you?” Eyes roll. “Yeah… he’s one of those…”
And so on… and so on… I tried my best to keep interested, but the truth is, she lost me after five words. I think I liked her better when she wouldn’t talk to me, for real. What was I thinking? Sex isn’t going to improve with conversation and being friends! If anything, it will make it worse cause now I have her squeaky voice stuck in the back of my head and it’s nothing like the moans and whines of when we’re together. After on hour or so of being tortured (cause it was as near to torture as I know) I walked her back to her room, planning to hide from her at least for the rest of the day.
This is going nowhere and I’m not forcing any of us to do this anymore. I hope she didn’t notice though, I still don’t want her thinking I’m an asshole.
.~
Natalie’s POV
After lunch, I went back upstairs alone, and started getting ready to leave for the venue. I don’t think I’ve been that bored in ages. I ran my mouth because Mike wouldn’t, and in the end it just started pissing me off. And then he had the nerve to act like he was listening to me when I could totally tell he wasn’t. It’s clear as day that he’s an asshole and I have no idea why I’m wasting my time on him.
I looked at myself up and down in the mirror and shook my head. I’d dressed nice, and it had all gone to waste. I slid my skirt back down my hips and stepped out of it, replacing it with a pair of comfy jeans. While I was brushing my hair back into my signature work bun, my phone started buzzing and jumping around on the dresser. I checked it with a smile.
"Open up" was all it said.
I grinned and pulled the door open to find Brendon grinning right back at me.
“Hey, where were you?” He asked.
I sighed, shrugging my shoulders as he looked me over, leaning against the wall. “Just had some other... prior... things I had to take care of. Hope you’re not mad at me.”
“Course not.”
“Good.”
We both chuckled and I sat down on the bed, pulling back on my shoes.
“So,” Brendon began, clearing his throat.
“Yes?”
“Now you owe me a lunch date.” He smirked.
“Do I?” I teased.
“Yes. You do. I was thinking, maybe we could do something later? After the show?”
Now I knew that Mike said that we were supposed to be exclusive. But he was an ass who bored me to death when we weren’t fucking. And besides, Brendon and I were just... friends. I mean, sure there was a certain spark between us sometimes, and then there was the almost kiss, but... No. We were just friends. And friends are allowed to go out together occasionally.
“Yeah, that’ll be fun.” I answered finally, tying my shoe and glancing back up for his reaction.
“Great!” He replied, and we kind of just smiled at each other for a minute. It was sort of awkward. And that’s when Taylor came in and raised an eyebrow at us.
“A-aalright. I’ll just grab my stuff and leave. There’s condoms in the drawer, just remember that the van leaves in thirty.” She said with a chuckle.
I rolled my eyes and stood up. I really didn’t know what to say as she and Brendon both were smirking smugly so I just ignored it. “And where are you coming from?” I asked.
“Lunch, where else?” She giggled as Ryan popped his head through our door.
This time I raised an eyebrow. “Some lunch. Hello Ryan.”
“Hey...” He chuckled, cheeks already red. He cut his eye at Brendon and smiled at him. Bren returned the look with one I couldn’t see as the back of his head was facing my direction and then they giggled.
Boys really are worse than we are.
“Come on in and join the party...”
“Hell no, who knows what kind of things you freaks could get engaged in. Not participating... Sorry.” Taylor said to me before going into the bathroom.
“Shut up Tay.” I groaned, blushing.
Ryan chuckled and pushed the door to come in. That’s when I spotted William walking by, doing a double take. He caught the door from Ryan, holding it open and looking at me curiously.
“Hey guys… Hey Nat. Where’s Taylor?”
“Bathroom.” I answered.
“Oh. Well could you tell her I wanna… talk to her?”
I didn’t have to. Taylor came out just then. “Okay, I’m ready to--” She stopped cold when she saw William. “What are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to talk to you. I thought I could catch you alone before we leave.”
I coughed, a little uncomfortable, and glanced over at Bren and Ryan, who obviously were too.
“Um, we’re just gonna go downstairs… I guess.” I began awkwardly, eyes darting between Ryan and Brendon.
“Yeah, um… Taylor?” Ryan said, watching her.
“I’ll be right down…” She said, back. I noticed she smiled at Ryan slightly and gave Bill a blank look. I bit back a giggle and led the other two boys out of the room and into the hall.

.Part Eleven.
Would you believe me if I say I didn't need you?
Taylor’s POV
I was in a considerable good mood that morning.
“Wake up, you lazy slut.”
“OW! I swear if you do it again...” She mumbled half asleep, turning her head and glaring, wiping her eyes. “Oh, it’s you. Hey.” She blinked.
“Hi…” I raised an eyebrow and chuckled.
“You seem to be in a good mood… where’d you go?” Nat asked, turning on her side, like she didn’t wanna sit on her ass, which was weird…
“Ryan’s… I told you before I left though.” I said pulling the covers down the bed, just to find out her reddened behind.
Oh! And we also laughed at Brendon.”
Nat made the attempt of sitting up, slowly… “I’m not encouraging this bullshit. My ass hurts.” She said with a groan and I just laughed louder. “But you were drinking? And why were you laughing at Brendon?”
“Cause he was like 2 hours sending out messages and cursing on the phone… He looks really cute when he’s pouting, looks like a little kid.”
Nat smiled dreamily at the comment. “I know…” I raised an eyebrow, smirking, when she cleared her throat. “But what did you and Ryan talk about?”
“Just random stuff…” I said still eyeing her. “Mostly about Brendon and his secret girlfriend… though I don’t think is that secret anymore.” I chuckled watching her go crimson. She pouted again and tossed a pillow at me. I started laughing again.
“He... said that? That he has a secret girlfriend?”
By now I was practically rolling on the bed laughing. “No! Ryan said that! To tease him... he blushed and stammered and all that. That’s when he stopped sending messages! And pacing around the room... and dialing....” Nat managed to get so red, I feared her head would explode.
“He’s so sweet…” She said with a sigh and then looked at me. “But you and Ryan seem to be getting cozy…”
“He’s nice… we just get along well.” I shrugged, biting my lip.
“It doesn’t matter, in a week I’ll be far away from him and it will be like none of this ever happened.”
“Knock it off about the spanking! Jeez! And next question is, will you be moving on to Italy…” She asked with a smirk and a giggle. Panic’s next stop was Italy. “…or going back home to the states?”
“I don’t know…” I said trying to sound uninterested.
No. No. No. As far as I’m concerned, we’re already done.”
“Really?
“With pouty lips and plump ass?”
“Maybe…” She said biting her lip, and then groaned. “It’s getting so obvious, even Mike can see it.”
“Well, he had to be blind not to!” I earned another pillow.
You might wanna put ice back there!”
The shower spring washed away my giggles and took me back to thinking about William. I know I can be a total bitch when I’m pissed, but it’s not like I’d stop him or hit him or do anything to hurt him really. But he doesn’t care, that’s why he’s not even trying. And if that’s true, then he’s not worth it. Besides, as Nat said… there’s Ryan…
.~
William’s POV
The morning after I saw Ryan with Taylor I woke up in a bad mood.
“I don’t get women.”
“Pssh, you and me both,” I scoffed. “What happened?”
Mike huffed angrily. “Well first, I got there and she was on the phone, and for a good 10 minutes at that! Until I used some...” He smirked. “Persuasion...”
I chuckled a little and he shook his head and went on.
“Anyway, after it happened she just refused to talk to me. Like, at all. She just rolled over and ignored me and checking her phone or whatever...” He finished dressing and I sat back down on my bed. “I don’t know, this shit is going nowhere. How the fuck did you manage to last so long?”
I shrugged. “You’re hiding it for one. That only pisses them off. I’ve never hidden anything from you guys. But hey! Don’t ask me for advice. You see how everything’s fucked up now don’t you?”
“Yeah, but that wasn’t cause Tay thought you were an ass to her. Nat thinks so and I really have no idea of how making it better.” He paused, then mumbled, “Not that I care, but it would be nice...”
I laughed.
“Oh you don’t care?” I laughed again until I snorted. “I don’t know Mike, do something nice. Do you ever like, talk? I mean, Just talk without reaching into her pants? Girls DO like that kind of shit, you caveman.”
“I did! Or tried... and I’m planning to take her for lunch,” I raised my eyebrow skeptically. “Real lunch! But she just... uughh, shut me down.”
I sighed. “I wish I could help, other than to tell you to be... you. Only like, 3 times sweeter. I’m no guru on women, man. Look what a mess I’ve made myself. I even saw Taylor out last night with Ryan...”
Mike paused and he raised his eyebrow. “Really? Cause I’ve seen Nat being all cozy with Brendon.”
“Figures. I don’t get what it is about them... Ryan and Taylor were having drinks... Who knows what that led to.” I grimaced, shaking my head mournfully. “Whatever you plan on doing, or deciding to do with Nat, you better do it soon...”
Mike sat back for a minute, like he was taking it all in. “Maybe, I don’t know. I can’t just turn into this sweet, goofy guy overnight!” He said, snatching his shoes up. “Have you talked to Taylor?”
“No...” I gave my short answer, immediately becoming saddened thinking about our current situation. I really missed her.
“Have you tried?”
I paused. “I was going to... until last night with Ryan, and then Christine... I’m thinking maybe... I should just let it go.”
“Is she really that scary?” He asked, sitting on the bed and smirking. I rolled my eyes in return.
“No, just... Maybe she deserves better. I’ve got a pregnant girlfriend, Mike.”
“...and you’re scared Taylor will bite your head off. Really.” He said with a small chuckle that made it all worse. “If that child is yours, then it’s yours. But you shouldn’t force yourself with Christine for it. What is it that you really want?”
I frowned. “Neither of them is more important than my kid. And if Taylor has a problem with that, then well... we’re over. I’m also aware I don’t have to be with Christine to raise it...”
“How can you even know Taylor has a problem with it? I really don’t think the baby is the problem here...”
I stared straight ahead and bit my lip. I didn’t want to hear or discuss anything about Taylor, it was only pissing me off. “If you know so much, about chicks, then why are you having so many problems?”
“It’s not about chicks, William! The fact that I don’t know what the fuck to do with Natalie doesn’t make me oblivious! Are you really that blind??”
I glared a little, sticking my lip out in a pout.
Talk this out, before it was too late.

.Part Ten.
I'm no gentleman, I can be a prick
William’s POV
Some shows are harder to play than others.
And these shows have been hell.
I wish I didn’t have to watch her every show, cause it feels like I’m singing to her and she’s not even listening.
Things weren’t supposed to turn out this way, I wasn’t supposed to feel this way either. I should be happy, but I could care less about the baby to be honest. The only thing I cared about was Taylor. Call me a selfish prick, but I needed her by my side. When all of this started the agreement was to keep it free, but at some point I became emotionally attached. I missed her when she wasn’t around and I hated to make her mad at me.
Now she barely looks at me, doesn’t talk to me at all and it hurts. It shouldn’t hurt though… we should have it easy and call it off easily.
Like Mike and Natalie, who have now what I had a week ago. And they are driving me nuts.
At first, when there was nothing between then, Mike would drive me insane asking how could he get her. Is not like he was in love or anything, but he wanted her. Then, when they finally hooked up, he’d drive me insane on how could he make this work as fine as me and Taylor worked (and see how that turned out).
And now… they were driving me insane because they were two fucking bunnies! Literally.
It had been a couple of days since they actually managed to talk about their relationship, or whatever that was, and now they were using their entire spare time to fuck: at breakfast, before lunch, after lunch, before the show, after the show, everywhere and anywhere… except at night, cause I usually pair room with Mike and it wasn’t like I had anywhere else to go and I knew Taylor wasn’t giving up her room for them.
Or at least that’s what I thought… until I saw Mike getting ready to go out on a random night.
“Where are you going all pimped up?” I asked from my laptop.
“Nat’s room.”
“Oh… Taking her out?” I asked casually, getting a grin in response.
“No…” He said going back to fixing his hair.
I blinked. “She has her own room?”
“No… Taylor is going out I guess.” He said with a shrug and I felt my stomach sink: she wasn’t coming herei], that’s for sure. Made me wonder what or who made her go out.
“Oh…”
“And no, I have no idea where she’s going. I don’t ask questions.” He added.
“I know you don’t…” I mumbled still thinking. I knew I wasn’t getting much information from Mike anyways, so I wasn’t even trying. I got my attention back to the laptop, or so I tried, when Mike cleared his throat and spoke again.
“Yeah well, I gotta go. Are you gonna be ok? Need me to send Sisky over to entertain you?”
“Nah… I’ll be fine.” I smiled and started typing randomly. “Have fun!”
Mike smirked. “Oh, I will!” He chuckled and waved, leaving the room and leaving me to my thoughts.
I knew Taylor wasn’t having a better time with all this. I could still read her well enough as much as she tried to hide it. It might sound selfish, but her feeling bad made me feel slightly better, maybe because I wanted her to be as emotionally attached as I was even if there was no point in it. I’m going to be a dad and by no means I’m bailing out of that, is it so bad that I wanna drag Taylor down with me? But now she was out, instead of sulking in her room as I am… why?
After a while my head started to hurt with all the hard thinking. It was probably nothing, but my brain refused to stop. What to do? Obviously… to have a drink. I also decided that maybe some fresh air could help, so I left the room and trudged down to the elevator, heading for the bar on the first floor of the hotel.
It was when I got there that I got answers. Taylor was there, happily chatting over a raspberry daiquiri with Ryan Ross.
.~
[/Natalie’s POV
I was lying across the bed still in bra and panties chatting into the phone when I heard the knock. I knew it was Mike, so I didn’t even bother covering up before I rolled off and went to open the door. It’s not like he cared, there was hardly ever any conversation when we got together. Just awkward small talk to break the ice before we got down and dirty. It didn’t matter to me, not when I spent all my extra time talking to Taylor and for the most part, Brendon, who I happened to be giggling with right then. I didn’t bother hanging up when I noticed the look on Mike’s face. I always gave Brendon my undivided attention when we talked, because of course, HE actually took time to talk to me. He was a really great guy, we got along well, and we were so much alike it was ridiculous.
“Who are you talking to?” Mike mouthed, watching me skeptically as he sat on the edge of the bed. I rolled my eyes and turned the other way, continuing my conversation. “Naaaaaat,” Mike groaned.
“Oh my god, I’m talking. I’ll be with you in a minute.” I finally said to him, covering the mouthpiece with my hand. I went back to ignoring him, laughing and lying there crossing and uncrossing my legs unconsciously with a huge grin on my face. Mike huffed and turned the TV on, flipping through the channels and looking very annoyed.
Not that I cared.
“Natalie...” Mike whispered, trying to slide his arm around my waist. I slithered away from him and rolled onto my stomach.
“Wait.” I replied.
I knew he’d be pissed by the time I was off of the phone, but it didn’t matter. I was happy doing just what I was doing before he arrived.
“Nat, is everything ok?” Brendon asked softly.
“Yeah...” I answered, biting down on my lip to avoid snickering at Mike, who was currently pouting like a child who was scolded by his mother. “Everything’s fine.” We continued joking and talking about nonsense like the way his dog slept on his pillow with him when he was home, while Mike was getting more and more antsy. I didn’t expect him to do what he did next...
I crossed my legs again and he caught the right one midair, raising it slowly and rubbing his hand down my leg. I tried to shake him off, but like some kind of rabid pit bull, he refused to let go. I glared at him while Brendon chatted away in my ear, scowling when he kneaded my thigh and kissed my kneecap.
“C’mon, baby,” He growled, creeping a hand up my thigh, grazing the trim of my panties. I sighed uncomfortably, and he grinned. Mike slid one of his fingers inside me slowly, while sliding my bra straps down my shoulders. He pushed the finger in and out gently and then started kissing my neck and jaw. I tried my best not to whimper, ending the phone call by telling Brendon I’d call him after my shower.
Mike snatched the phone from my hand and tossed it to the floor. “You were ignoring me, and I got tired of waiting...” He sneered, adding a second finger and pushing them inside me a little rougher. I moaned and bucked my hips, pissed as hell but never one to turn down what would guarantee me a mind shattering orgasm. “You were so naughty...” He went on, lowering his head to my chest and sucking one of my nipples into his mouth hard.
“Mike,” I moaned.
“I think you need to be punished.”
I raised an eyebrow. Punished? This shit wasn’t in the contract.
“What the hell do you mean by that?” I asked.
Mike didn’t answer, just smirked and proceeded to unhook and pull away the diversion that had become my bra, tossing it across the room and nuzzling his face in between my breasts.
“You’ll see. You might even enjoy it.”
He grabbed me roughly, flipping me over. My heart was racing from a mix of anticipation, nervousness and slight arousal, which kept me from putting up a struggle. “What are you doing Mike?”
Again, no answer until he started kissing the back of my neck. It tickled, and I giggled a little bit, until a sharp, stinging sensation stopped it abruptly. My eyes immediately started to water and then it came again. It took me a minute to realize he was fucking SPANKING me!
I grumbled in protest, but he was obviously not letting up. Pressing against my back, Mike kept kissing and sucking my neck, rubbing and squeezing the ass cheek he spanked. He moved his free hand around and cupped one of my breasts, rolling the nipple in between his fingers and grinding against me.
“M-mike...”
“Shh!” He hushed me, slipping the same hand underneath me to tease my clit. He started stroking gently, rubbing in small circles while I moaned softly, getting right into it. It felt so good I gave up trying to be offended, coming hard as he massaged my insides and spanked me on the ass repeatedly.
Mike and I bed wrestled until I was exhausted, ass cheeks still stinging from his “punishment”. He laughed as we lay there an hour or two later, rubbing the palms of his hands across them softly. “Did I hurt you?” He asked after a long silence.
I shook my head.
“But did you like it?”
I shrugged.
The rubbing suddenly stopped. “Well fuck, Nat...”
“What?”
“So you’re not gonna answer? You have nothing to say to me?” He snapped, annoyed.
“Should I?” I retorted.
He didn’t answer. He didn’t even have to, I knew he was seething. I could feel the anger radiating off of him.
Mike rolled off of the bed and groaned, rubbing his face. “We’re not talking then... why?”
I shrugged again. “Because it’s easier? I dunno. Just trying it your way.”
“My way?” He blinked. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
I huffed and turned over on my back, pulling the sheet up to cover my chest. “It means... We obviously have nothing to talk about. And I don’t feel like forcing it.” I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and began checking it for missed calls.
He sighed and sat down behind me. “Why are we even doing this, if you can’t even look at me?” Mike grabbed my shoulder and turned me turned me so he could see my face. He raised an eyebrow when our eyes met.
“I thought we already have this conversation? Besides, since when do you care so much?” I asked him, holding in a smile when I saw I had unread texts from Brendon.
“We haven’t... in fact we haven’t had any conversation at all... all we do is...”
I nodded, stretching and then curling under the sheet, tapping away at the keys on the phone. “All we do is fuck. And that is the way you wanted it after all, Mike.”
I glanced up to see his lips curl angrily, which was kinda cute, but whatever. “You can’t possibly know what I want, Nat. But I guess you don’t care either...” I rolled my eyes as he threw a tantrum and started to dress. It wasn’t that I didn’t care, but fuck... I wasn’t about to play games with him.
“All I know is what you told me, remember? So... maybe we should cool it down for a couple days until we get a grip on things.” I replied, keeping my eyes on the screen, still tapping away.
Mike couldn’t even stand to look at me as he re-dressed hastily. “Whatever works for you, Nat. I bet Brendon Urie will keep you busy...”
I didn’t answer at first, curious about how he knew.
“There’s nothing going on you know. You sound like a jealous boyfriend for even bringing him up.” I tried not to smile, but fuck it this was amusing to me. I sat up on the pillows and followed Carden with my eyes.
“Well, you might wanna remember the “exclusive” part of our little agreement though. Or I might have to find other ways and means to punish you...” He replied blankly.
“Now you’re threatening me?” I shot back, scowling.
“More like a warning.” He smirked.
“Get out.” I said, turning over on my side, facing the wall.
“Oh, I intend to do so, babe,” He smiled widely and headed for the door. “And don’t make any plans by the way, I’m taking you out for lunch...”
“Yeah? Don’t hold your breath. You can’t force me. Besides, I have plans.” I grumbled, extremely butthurt and just itching for him to leave.
He froze and turned back around to face me. “Then I’ll have to use some other way of persuasion. But you’re coming...” He smirked and I wanted to slap the smug expression right off his lips. “Just like you did a few moments before, even if you won’t admit you liked it. Just get some sleep... on your tummy.” He chuckled.
I was so pissed I couldn’t do anything but glare at him, already thinking up ways to steer clear of him for lunch and possibly the rest of the week. “Goodnight, Michael.” I said, contempt dripping from my voice.
“Night, Nat.” He grinned and finally left the room.

.Part Nine.
Do you think you're up for this?
Natalie’s POV
I felt really bad for Taylor. She’d put so much into the “relationship”, if you could call it that, with Bill. It didn’t seem fair that she was in so much pain and to be honest I was a little pissed off.
I showered and dressed, leaving Taylor in bed taking a nap and went downstairs to the lobby. It was loud and swarming with middle aged men in suits. I didn’t notice anyone from the tour, probably because they were all still asleep. I went into the lobby restaurant alone when I heard my name being called.
“Hey, Natalie!”
Turning around slowly I spotted none other than Brendon sitting back in a corner along with another one of his band mates. I couldn’t remember his name. They waved when they saw I noticed them and I waved back.
“Hey! Come over here, come over here and join us!”
I hesitated at first, a little embarrassed about what had almost happened the night before, but I knew he wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable about it so I walked over and had a seat.
We ate breakfast and discussed what they would be doing if they hadn’t joined their band and to my surprise, Brendon was very interested in being a hair stylist. Right after having a landscaper job, though. But still!
The three of us, Brendon, Spencer and I, sat talking for a long time, but then Brendon remembered that I owed him a haircut. I laughed, but was soon walking with him to the elevators and to his room to do it. It, like give him a haircut. Not like... him. I sat him down in the bathroom on the toilet and wrapped a towel around his shoulders, giving him a nice trim. It was sort of awkward, with his eyes on me, but I managed to get it done.
“Are you nervous?” He chuckled.
“What? No. I do this all the time. Why would I be nervous?” I scoffed, gathering a bit of his soft hair in between my fingers and trimming the ends.
“You just seem a little... nervous.” He shrugged.
“Well, I’m not,” I smiled. “And you’re all done.”
He smiled back at me and got up to admire himself in the mirror. After raving for a couple minutes, Spencer decided he needed a bit of a trim himself. I finished him up and we goofed around until it was time to board the vans to get to the venue. Spencer basically kicked the both of us out on our asses after he’d gotten on the phone with Haley, his girlfriend, stating that we were way too loud.
Leaving the room laughing at him, and obviously enjoying each other’s company, we decided to take a walk back down to the lobby where we ran across into another odd pair...
Taylor and Ryan.
And she was smiling.
She sat beside him in the van, while Brendon and I sat in back, discussing the two of them. When we got to the venue, we all went separate ways, Taylor to set up the merch table, Brendon, Ryan, Spencer and Jon to have “group session” as they called it. Word around (And when I saw word around I mean Gabe) is that “group session” time is code for “smoke a big ass joint”.
“Hey Nat, the boys are waiting for you in their green room.” Tony told me as he whizzed past with the set list.
“Why? They all seem to like the ‘I just rolled out of bed’ look just fine.” I snorted. Tony shook his head and disappeared.
“Go and do what you actually get paid to do.” Taylor said rolling her eyes.
I snorted. “Sure I will. And I’ll expect details on the little conversation you had earlier when I come to the booth.” She shook her head and shrugged me off and I laughed at her before sauntering down the corridor. And I almost got lost trying to find TAI’s green room
I found Bill and Sisky in there alone and I made sure Bill saw me roll my eyes when I looked at him, but he climbed into my chair anyway.
“So… heard you had a… situation, last night.” I said, picking up a brush for his hair.
“Look, Nat... It’s not like...”
“I know everything Bill...” I snapped, then lowered my voice. “About Christine too...”
He jerked around in the seat, staring up at me, and I stared right back at him, challenging him to say anything. By that time, the rest of the band made it in. Including Mike. William sighed and turned back around, allowing me to brush his mane while they all talked and he attempted to warm up.
“We’re crashing cars we used to share, with summer girls with summer... ouch!” He cried when I “accidentally” pulled a little too hard.
I held in a snicker, and he pouted.
“You okay Bill?” Mike asked from behind his Maxim.
“Fine.” He sneered behind gritted teeth.
I giggled, making Mike look over at us questionably. I rolled my eyes at him, scoffing and continuing Bill’s hair. The door swung open, and expecting Tony or one of the security team, I didn’t look up. But William’s did. I tugged on the end of his hair before realizing it was Taylor who walked in.
She waved to everyone, well, seemingly everyone, except Bill. “Has anyone seen the medium size boxes?” She asked.
“You might want to check the Cobra dressing room. Sometimes they get mixed up.” Sisky told her, snacking on a mini pizza. William watched her expectantly.
Taylor huffed and grabbed another box. “Damn it! Thanks anyway.” She replied before leaving the room, still ignoring Bill. He sucked his teeth in disgust and got up out of the chair, leaving me standing there with a raised eyebrow as he went into the restroom.

I'm not in love
Mike’s POV
I woke up the next morning in bed with Nat, only she was practically on the edge of the bed, lying on her side. I sucked my teeth and curled an arm around her waist. “C’mere. Why are you so far away?” I whispered in her ear. She grumbled a little, but quieted when I pulled her close to my chest and nuzzled her neck.
“Mike,” She purred. “Stop. I’m sleeping.” I chuckled and ignored her, rubbing my chin against her neck and kissing there lightly. “Knock it off, Carden.”
Rolling my eyes, I kept at it, dropping one of my hands down her hip to her thigh, rubbing her soft skin. Nat sighed and turned over onto her back, looking over at me. “What the fuck are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing?” I asked, leaning down and kissing her mouth gently. She pulled away at first, but then obviously changed her mind as I felt her tongue searching for mine. “Mmm, yeah, that’s more like it.” We kissed hard, all kneading tongues and wandering hands. I knew I had her when she whimpered and threw her arms around my neck, so I shifted, gently nudging her on her back until I was hovering above her between her legs.
That’s when the door crept open and I saw Taylor standing there staring looking lost and definitely upset.
She grumbled something and I looked down at Nat, who shrugged. I groaned and rolled away from her, burying myself into the blankets. Nat pulled the sheets up and looked a little worried. “Tay, are you okay? You don’t look so good.” She asked.
“Not talking about it now. Not while he’s still here, at least.” She spat, glaring at me slightly, digging around in her belongings and then going into the bathroom and slamming the door. Nat gave me a look that I totally understood. It was time for girl talk, and that was my cue to leave. We both got up and started to dress, her in her abandoned robe and me in my clothes from the night before.
“See you later.” She said nonchalantly, and then didn’t even bother to walk me out the door. I walked out and let it close, trudging back to my own room and taking my time because nine times out of ten, the reason Taylor was so upset was because of Bill. And he wasn’t exactly the best person to be around when he was pissed/upset. When I got outside the door, I took my time slipping the key card in and opened the door slowly. It was dark, no lights, no TV, and I saw a shadow of what appeared to be Bill’s slim form lying on his bed looking up at the ceiling.
“Hey... isn’t this the reason you need reading glasses?” I joked cautiously.
He groaned. I rolled my eyes. “Not in the mood Mike, seriously.”
Holding back a sigh, I sat down on the opposite bed and strained to see him through the dark of the room. “Okay... I’ll bite. What’s up?”
“Apparently, I’m going to be a dad...” He sighed. “And I may have had the speaker on my phone when Christine called.” I nearly choked on my own damn spit.
“...What? That’s why Taylor’s upset? Holy fucking shit.”
He sat up so fast it almost scared me (Hey, I said almost damn it.). “You saw her? She’s upset? How upset?”
Dude was freaking out.
“Calm down. She’s with Nat now. But she’s obviously upset. She slammed a few doors and definitely looked like she’d been crying... Or had been up all night. I figured she was here with you.”
“She left hours ago.” Bill said sourly with a shake of his head.
“That’s weird cause I was with Nat all night... She just got in... I wonder where she...” I decided not to finish that sentence.
“Figures. She knew you were there though.” He said, sighing again and falling back on the pillows.
“So... what happened?” I asked, grabbing up my clothes for the day.
William told me everything that happened between him and Taylor earlier this morning and the only thing I could think about the whole time was that Christine was pregnant. Both girls must be devastated, because I could tell Bill certainly was. This was the exact shit that was keeping me from getting involved with any chick any deeper than I already was. It’s just not worth it, and if Natalie didn’t get it, then it was just too bad.
.~
Taylor’s POV
I took the door slam as a cue to start crying again. Fuck. I wish I could stop crying. But I guess it was too much for me to handle. Besides, it was better if I cried while I was alone and no one saw my pathetic state. Cause it was really pathetic. We were nothing, our relationship was just about sex, and it shouldn’t hurt as it does. But it does anyways.
I let the water hit my back for the longest time before starting to soap up and rub him out of my skin, like it was possible. I was hitting my head on the tiles when I heard Nat knocking.
“Tay? What’s wrong, what happened?”
I sighed. “I’m… fine…” I hit my head again and turned the water off.
“No, you’re not… Something happened. What did he do?” She insisted.
I wrapped myself with a towel and dragged my feet out of the bathroom before answering, passing by her side and sitting on the bed.
“Besides procreating by knocking up Christine?”
“What? …She’s fucking… Are you serious? When did he…” Natalie stammered and looked at me in disbelief, falling by my side. “Well fuck… how did you find out, he told you?”
“I don’t know… they had a thing like 2 months ago. When we were in Chicago…” I shook my head at remembering the party and her hanging from his neck. “She called him at like 4 am, and he put it on speaker by accident.” I looked down with another sigh as Nat shook her head.
“Damn... so what happened after that? Did he say something to hurt you because I swear…”
“He didn’t say anything… I just took my clothes and left.”
“So... What happens now?” I was still staring at the floor, but Nat was looking at me.
“I have no idea…” I sighed again… I have to stop doing that. “I can either leave now or wait another two weeks to get back to the States and then leave.” I rubbed my face and stared at the ceiling. “But I don’t want this anymore.”
“So you’re leaving? Girl. No. You have to stay and make him MISERABLE.” She said energetically. I wish I shared her enthusiasm.
I shook my head. “I can’t do it. I can’t even stand the sight of him right now cause I wanna rip his head off.” Here come the tears again… “I’m just going to disappear from his life. What’s the point of staying around anyways?” I stood up again and fumbled with my clothes, choking back the tears.
“To make him feel just as bad as you, for one. And who’s going to take care of me if you leave for two?” Nat said pulling a pathetic pout. I raised an eyebrow as I usually did, followed by the snarky comment.
“I think Brendon and Carden can do the job.” I deadpanned. “I don’t need this, Nat. I don’t need this; I don’t need the money… I only stayed because he asked me to.”
Nat shook her head and crossed her arms. “No. If you leave, I’m leaving…” She said firmly, then she realized… “Wait. Where did you stay last night?”
I couldn’t help blushing. “Ryan’s room.” I said looking away.
I heard her stifle a giggle, sitting Indian style on the bed. “Are you serious?” Now she had a creepy smile on her face. That’s my move! “You can’t leave... because you don’t owe Bill shit. And…” Even creepier smile. I wonder if I look like that when I do it. “There’s Ryan…”
“There’s no Ryan, Nat. I just found him on the elevator and offered me his room since I couldn’t go back to William’s and certainly couldn’t come back here.”
“He offered you his room though, and I know you think he’s cute… Plus you know you could’ve come back here. I would’ve kicked that fucker out.”
“Yes, he did that cause he’s nice and saw me upset. End of it.” I finished dressing and fell on the bed again. “I wasn’t interrupting, Nat, you know I hate that. My other choice was the rooftop.”
“Okay, I’ll stop... but you can’t go.” She sighed. “Prove you don’t need him. Pretend he means nothing, I guarantee he realizes what he lost in no time. Then you can burn his ass. It’ll feel great.”
“I bet it will…” I lied down, snuggling a pillow. “I have two weeks to think about it. There’s no way I can leave now anyways.”
“Good. I think I’m going to shower and grab some breakfast, want anything back?” She asked standing in front of me.
“No, thanks, I’m not hungry… just let me know when the van leaves.” I rolled over and sighed, still clutching the pillow. Truth is, I felt like staying in the room for the next two weeks.
“Okay…” Nat said with a sigh before going to the bathroom.
I was getting half comfy to start crying yet again, when my phone buzzed letting me know I had a new text. I didn’t wanna read it, it was probably William… but for the same reason I reached for it and read the message.
Hope ur feeling better. Wanna grab some lunch later? =) …RR
Even when my eyes were bursting out tears, I smiled.

.Part Seven.
Near death, last breath, and barely hanging on
Taylor’s POV
I had barely knocked the door when I heard the stumbles on the floor and the door opened quickly. I chuckled.
“You… you…” William said trying to look mad. It didn’t work. “Get in.”
I rolled my eyes. “Hi, I was just passing by and decided to--” I couldn’t finish whatever I was going to say, cause William nearly jumped on me and kissed me forcefully.
“Whatever…” He mumbled against my lips and kept kissing me. I smirked and pulled away.
“Aren’t we eager?”
“I thought you wouldn’t come.” He said attacking my lips again, his hand tugging the bottom of my shirt. I squirmed out of his grasp and pushed him away. “What?”
“Nothing.” I said smirking. “It’s good to see you like this. Makes me feel… important.” I smiled and he smiled back.
“Whatever I said, I’m sorry.” He apologized, trailing little kisses on my neck and his hands under my shirt. “I know I’m not really fair with you sometimes. But I want you to want to be here.”
William stared at me for a few seconds before we both pulled our shirts off and kissed forcefully and hard again. He walked backwards to the bed while peeling my bra and unbuckling both jeans. He turned us around and literally dropped me on the bed, pulling my boots and jeans off, kissing his way up. My breath was starting to get ragged and I just stared at him as he lost his own pants and crawled on top of me, staring hungrily. It made me all hot to see him like that, cause I knew it was me who made him like that. Even if it was out of lust and nothing else, I liked it. Made it feel like he wanted me as much as I wanted him.
As the last of our clothes slid down and off, I managed to roll us over and straddle his hips, teasing him and keeping him down by pushing his shoulders to the bed. His hands gripped my hips, trying to move me, move himself inside. But I wouldn’t let him.
“C’mon, Taylor!” He whined, bucking his hips up.
I leaned down and licked his lips. “You think you’ve earned it?” William groaned.
“Want me to beg?” He pleaded and I nodded. “Please, please,
please
, Taylor.”
I smiled a little and allowed him to pull me down for a kiss, his hips still bucking up and rubbing against mine. I pulled away momentarily, adjusting my hips on top of his…
And then…
The phone starts ringing.
“Motherfuck!” He yelled as I retrieved from his lap. “Nononono… come back!” He said gripping my hips and pulling me back on top. But the phone kept ringing and I was starting to recognize the ring tone.
I sighed. “You better get that one. After all it’s not like her to call you at 4 in the morning.”
William grunted, cursed and spit while scrambling with his clothes, one hand still on my hip to keep me there. He didn’t even look at the phone when he snapped it open and clicked not the answer button, but the speaker one. I knew that when the sobbing voice of Christine flooded the hotel room. William just groaned and dropped his head on the pillow, making no attempt to shut the phone down.
“I’m sorry! I know it’s like 4 am there, but--” Christine sobbed and sniffled again. I rolled my eyes and leaned down to kiss him when she spoke again. “I’m- I’m pregnant, Bill…” She said breaking in tears. I froze staring right at him for like half a second before I scrambled off the bed.
His eyes bulged out as he reached for the phone and turned the speaker off, talking and asking things I didn’t catch. It wasn’t important. All that mattered is that I had to get out of there, so I dressed in a flash, even when William was trying to hold my arms and my wrists still on the phone.
“Wait, wait, wait Taylor, don’t go.” He whispered, covering the receiver with one hand.
I just bit my tongue and ignored him, pulling my shirt over my head and looking for my shoes. I was so mad I could have taken that phone and shove it up his ass.
“Damn it…” He muttered, going back to the phone. “Christine, honey, look. I’ll call you first thing in the morning, Okay? Okay… yeah… me too…” The phone was closed with a click and thrown on the bed at the same time I found my purse. “Where are you going? Don’t go. C’mon… Taylor…” William chased me and blocked my way.
“Just…” I sighed. “You better take care of that.” I walked around him, going for the door. “Congratulations, by the way.”
William sighed heavily and scratched the back of his head following me. “So, you’re just going to walk out on me, Taylor? Come on...” I stopped when he blocked my way again, looking at me pleadingly. “You think I wanted this?”
“I don’t know… I don’t care for that matter. All I know is that
I
don’t want it.” I took a deep breath before continuing. “What do you want, William? You want things to be the same? Wanna keep going with this? How far do you wanna take it?”
I watched him shift his feet and bite his lip “I… don’t know… but I… I couldn’t leave her alone now…”
“And it seems you couldn’t when we were in Chicago either.” I said shaking my head and blinking fast. I wasn’t going to cry for this, let alone in front of him. “Yeah… you can’t leave her alone. I have to go.”
“Taylor…” He sighed again, but I didn’t turn. “What do you want me to say?”
I bit my lip again. “Nothing. Told you this could stop when I wanted and I want it to stop now. Nothing you say is going to change that.” I turned and leaned on the door. His staring eyes looking sad.
“So it’s over? Just like that?”
I nodded. “Yes.” We stood there in silence, I was staring at the floor trying to gather strength to walk away, but my will was barely enough to prevent me from crying.
“Tay…” He said getting closer and then stopping and nodding. “If you want me to let you go… I’ll let you go.”
Truth is I didn’t want him to let me go, I wanted him to stop me. “If-- we just-- if you…” I looked at him and held my breath. “Nevermind. It’s over.”
I turned away and walked out, quickly shutting the door and nearly sprinting down the hall. I felt my eyes welling up and the tears bursting out. Next thing I knew I was hunched on the floor bawling my eyes out and must have been doing so for a good five minutes. I know I said I wasn’t crying over this, but it was stronger than me. Besides I was alone and I felt like a needed it: to have a good nice cry. And once I did all I had left was this empty space inside my chest: no more hopes, no more tears, no more him, no more anything really. At least for now…
I stood up and wiped my face, not really knowing what to do. I knew Nat was with Carden and I wasn’t in the mood to interrupt. Besides, going back to my room would mean lots of explaining and possibly more tears, I wanted to avoid both at the moment. I had at least 4 hours of doing nothing, so I started walking slowly down the hall thinking about going up to the rooftop. Heights always calmed me down. I waited for the elevator to reach my floor and when the doors opened, there he was.
Ryan.
“Hey, what are you doing up so late?” He asked with a smile. I tried to smile too, but I couldn’t.
“Nothing… I could ask you the same thing though.” I tried to hide my face in the dim light. I didn’t succeed.
“Are you okay? You look like you’ve been crying.” He said worriedly and rubbed my arm.
“I’m fine… just…” I stopped cause, really, what the fuck is wrong with me that I wanna cry again?
“It’s okay… it’s okay.” Ryan soothed me stepping a little closer. “Umm… want me to take you to your room?”
I shook my head. “Nat is… busy.”
“Oh.” I took a deep breath swallowing my tears back in. Ryan held my arms. “C’mon, you look like you need to lie down. I’ll take you to my room.”
“Ryan, I really appreciate it…” I started shaking my head again.
“Taylor. You have no room to go to, right? Where are you planning to sleep?” He said with a half smile. “I think I can give up my bed for the night. C’mon.”
It took me a couple of seconds to accept his invite. But I did, he was right I had nowhere else to go. Once in his room, we entered quietly and he told me to use the bed after stealing a pillow and a blanket. I thought it would take me forever to fall asleep, but surprisingly it took only a couple of minutes for sleep to claim me.

Part Six
Don't be scared, it's harder for me
Natalie's POV
If there was one word I could use to describe the dance floor that night, it would definitely be hot. No really, it was hot as hell in there. Everyone was damn near inebriated, bodies were everywhere, grinding and wiggling around. Mine and the guy I was dancing with was no exception. We'd gotten along amazingly all night, and the both of us giggled to jokes no one else quite understood while his hands rested on my hips and my arms wrapped around his neck. It was harmless flirtation, really, and at the song's last hook, we happened to raise our heads at the same time, hitting each other's foreheads and erupting into another round of giggles like nerds. That's when I felt a slight tug on my shirt.
“Oh hey Tay,” I smiled big at her, pulling away from Brendon slightly, but not letting go.
She grinned at Brendon and tightened her hold on me. “Let me steal her for three minutes! That's it I swear.” She giggled and he nodded, we all giggled together again before parting. I watched him dance off goofily and then grinned back at Nat.
“Isn't he cute?” I laughed.
“I bet he is,” Taylor chuckled. “Nice ass too, but I think I'd keep his friend if...” She trailed off and shrugged, making me stare at her quizzically. “Listen, I was just outside right? And William came out and got all jealous and shit. Then we kind of argued, but that's not the point...”
“Okay, what did you argue about? And how bad is it?” I asked.
She shook her head. “That doesn't matter! We made up and he wants me to come with him when we go back to the hotel... I haven't said anything to him yet, but the thing is... he's roomed with Carden...”
The grinch smirk on her lips was back. And the smile on mine had disappeared. “Uh-uh,” I shook my head. “I'm not fucking with him tonight. He's losing his mind.”
“I didn't say you had to! I told William that he wasn't sending Mike to our room, and he said Mike could sleep in the lobby for all he cared, but...” Taylor paused dramatically, leaving me bug-eyed. “He said that you two should talk... actually TALK, because Mike is driving him insane.”
I sighed deeply and led her back over to bar, snatching up another shot of whiskey and downing that shit fast.
“Tay... I'm just trying to have fun tonight... I don't know if I can deal with Mike right now...” I sighed heavily again. “But I guess I can do it for you. Even though I was having a nice time with my dance partner...” I giggled and searched the crowded dance floor with my eyes.
“Nat, you don't have to deal with him or whatever if you don't want to...”
She smirked again. It was really starting to creep me out!
“You can leave Mike in our room and go to his!” She pointed at Brendon and I smiled, remembering how much I liked dancing close to him. He was so adorable, but pursuing anything with him could cost me my job. And I knew it. “But if you ask me, you DO need to get your stuff straight, especially after what happened before we came out.” I bit my lip while she ordered a double rum and gulped it.
I shook my head, tapping my nails on the bar surface. “You're right... So when are you two leaving? Maybe I can catch the taxi back with you.”
“Next tour, we apply to work with Panic,” She replied, taking another drink. “And I'm not leaving with William, I want him to wait.” She made an evil face and killed the drink, asking for yet another. “Now I have to get back before they miss me, and so have you...” She giggled, shoving me towards the end of the bar, where Brendon was waiting for his own drink.
“NOT under the same circumstances though. This shit is too stressful.” I chuckled and picked up my glass as she started to walk away. “Let me know when you're leaving!” I added.
“Hey,” I said softly once I'd reached my dance partner. “Taking a break already?”
He looked up and immediately started grinning. “Just... waiting... Since you promised you'd come back.” He sipped his drink and my eyes honed in on the way he licked his lips before placing them on the glass. I found myself wondering in my state what those thick, pillowy lips would feel like if I kissed them. I licked my own lips instinctively.
“See something you like?” Brendon asked, a lop-sided smirk on his face.
I giggled, shrugged and turned up my drink, finishing in one big gulp. “Finish that drink and meet me back out there, partner.” He grinned, killed the leftover contents of his glass and chased me back out onto the floor.
“So, when can I get that haircut?” Brendon asked in my ear once we'd squeezed back through the crowd.
“I can do it anytime. Just ask.”
“Just like that?”
“Just like that.” I repeated, blushing and smiling bashfully under his gaze. The temperature was definitely rising again, and I wasn't in the mindset to realize all the trouble my current situation could cause. He leaned forward, and my heart raced, thumping wildly as fingertips tilted my chin to an appropriate angle and full, moist lips brushed against my own.
Just then Taylor interrupted. “Nat,” She chuckled. “Oops.”
I bit my lip, quickly averting my eyes from Brendon's and removing one arm from around his waist.
“Yeah?” I asked, clearing my throat and giving Tay my full attention.
She grinned and giggled before continuing. “Don't mind me, just letting you know that we're leaving.” She looked at Brendon. “And that goes for you too. Ryan wanted me to let you know.”
She was still smiling and I wanted to sink into the floor in embarrassment. “Oh, well. I guess since we're leaving...” I trailed off, glancing back at Brendon.
“Okay, cool.” He replied, looking back down at me. “I'm taking you up on that as soon as I can. We've got unfinished business.” My eyes nearly bugged out of my head when he kissed my cheek and told both me and Taylor goodbye.
I groaned and looked at her. “Oh god. Thank you.”
She laughed and grinned creepily. “We're leaving with them, you know. Are you talking to Carden tonight? Or bailing back to his room?”
“Shut up Tay. I have no intention on going back to his room... I don't even know what that was. But I'm glad you stopped it.” Taylor linked arms with me as we walked off.
“Why? I could tell the both of you were enjoying yourselves.” She chuckled at the same time I groaned.
“Maybe because if he finds out about Mike he'll think I'm a slut? Or if Mike finds out about him I'll be an unemployed slut?”
“Well, I can't fix the slut part, but I'm sure you won't be unemployed.” She giggled and pulled me outside to the van, stopping before we get to the stairs. “Talk to Carden... And then, have him.” She pointed at Brendon, making me follow with my eyes.
So tempting...
“Okay, I'll talk to Mike. And then... we'll see what happens.” I answered, biting down on my lip hard as we boarded the van.
.~
When I stumbled my half-drunken ass to mine and Taylor's room, I was surprised to see Mike sitting outside on the floor, leaning against the wall.
I froze, but then proceeded to pull out my key card and approach the door. “Have you been here the whole time?”
He looked up at me slowly. “No. William sent me a message that you guys were on the way.”
“Oh.” I answered, awkwardly opening the door as he got up and followed me in. The first thing I did was sit on the low dresser and kick my stiletto boots off. Mike closed the door and leaned against it, watching me.
“Had fun?”
“As a matter of fact,” I began, hopping down and going into the bathroom. In there I stripped off the skin tight jeans and wrapped in my robe, which hung on the door, then stepped back out and looked back at him. “I did. Is that why what you were waiting to ask me?”
“No.” His expression was blank and unreadable. “I wanted to talk to you.”
I raised an eyebrow. “About? Seriously, give me a clue here Carden.” I chuckled nervously.
“I wanna know why you've been avoiding me.” He sighed, getting closer.
“I haven't been. You just ignore me.” I retorted, backing up. He raised his eyebrow. I guess we were playing tag.
“I haven't! I came here earlier tonight and you just left!”
“Because I had plans.” I snapped, turning my back on him and picking up the remote to the TV. “Just because I'm here, doesn't mean I cater to your every whim. Especially when you had hours to talk to me on the plane.”
“You should. Since it was me who got you here. Unless you'd rather be unemployed and back home in the states.”
I blinked, seriously in awe of what I just thought I heard. “Wait, what? So what are you saying Mike?” I walked up on him, looking up into his face. “What? You gonna send me home out of the blue because I want to ask you questions instead of fucking on demand?”
“I'm not saying that, Nat. I'm just. I think you could be a little more grateful, I don't know...” He huffed.
Oh god was he kidding?
“Really? Just how grateful should I be Mike? How grateful should I be that unless we're fucking or arguing you totally ignore me? This isn't easy...” I stopped and took a deep breath, getting more upset than needed definitely wouldn't help the situation, but I couldn't help it. “I'm confused and... maybe I made a mistake. Maybe I should go home.”
“No! I-I didn't mean it like that. I mean...,” He paused, huffing again and ramming a hand through his hair in frustration. “I have no clue on how to do this, okay? I just... wanted to have you near and I couldn't come up with a better way to do so...” He crossed his arms defensively. “I really liked it last time...”
I smirked a little, stepping backward. “What did you like?” I pushed a stray strand of his hair back and waited for an answer knowingly.
He stared back for a moment, while I continued to smirk. “You know what. So don't play dumb.” Mike grabbed my wrist. “Question is, did you like it?”
Relieved that he hadn't brought Brendon up like I was afraid he would, he pulled my arm and I never lost the smirk on my face. “I don't know, what do you think? Is this what you wanted to discuss?”
The blank look was back. “Yeah, I wanna know why you agreed to this.”
“Well, it wasn't because I liked you. At first. But then you were nice to me... plus Taylor is here, and the sex was good if I can be totally honest.” I confessed quietly, blushing cheeks and all.
He let me loose a little, thank fuck. The man is a lot stronger that he seems to be. “It was... So, what are we doing?”
“I was wondering the same thing. I think... I really need to know...” I replied, the kiss that never was with Brendon running through my head again.
“We agree on the sex part at least... But, that's it.” He said, I could tell he was chewing the inside of his cheek. But I wasn't surprised at all and shrugged, pulling away only slightly annoyed.
“Whatever works. Anything else?”
“Did you expect anything else? I think you're nice and cute, that's why I made a move in the first place. It wasn't easy, you know? But as far as I see, there's nothing else here.” He blinked confused.
“No, really. I get it, I know. But I was asking now that that's settled, are there any other rules I need to follow?”
“Not really, you know, just that we keep it quiet. And, exclusive...”
Growing more and more annoyed by the minute, I wanted to roll my eyes and slam the door in his face. I still couldn't believe his nerve. Instead I smiled. “I can do that, okay? Don't worry honey. I'm guessing I'll see you tomorrow?”
“Great. But I have nowhere to crash.” He said plainly.
“Oh. I, um. Forgot they were hi-jacking your room...” I muttered, looking back at the single bed I was supposed to share with Taylor.
Wonderful, not only was I disgusted but pretty much stuck with Mike for the night, which also meant no Brendon for me, but we'd also have to share a bed. Seeing as I really didn't have a choice, I decided to make light of the situation and offered up a (mostly) genuine smile.
“My casa es tu casa and all that. I'm gonna have a shower.” I told him, pulling my hair down.
He sighed in defeat and grabbed a pillow and one of the top blankets. “I'll sleep on the couch. You are way too transparent, you know that? It's not like I can go anywhere else.” He grumbled.
“Mike... I'm sorry, ok? I was a little miffed... I'll admit it. I have a temper...” I sighed. “But I meant what I just said. C'mon, you don't have to sleep on the couch...” I pleaded, placing a hand on his chest to stop him. “Besides, With Taylor gone, I'll have no one to keep warm with...” I traced the same finger up to his neck and bit my lip.
“You saying you use Taylor to keep you warm?” Mike smirked.
“You think I'd tell you if I did?” I giggled teasingly.
“Maybe...”He smiled and walked toward the bed again slowly. “Want me to keep you warm then?”
I untied and dropping my robe to my feet, along with my blouse and bra. “Yeah. I'm freezing. Can't you tell?”
He stared me up and down like a hungry lion that spotted a t-bone and licked his lips. “I can't... but I know how to find out.” He growled, circling my waist with one arm and pulling me close to him forcefully. He kissed me, hard, while cupping one of my breasts in his hand and kneading it slowly. “...Liar.”
I sighed in encouragement, my body suddenly desperate for his attention. “Why am I a liar?” I chuckled, disconnecting our mouths long enough to pull his shirt off.
He didn't answer. Just stared, smirked again and ran a finger down my chest and belly down between my folds. “Liar...”
I rolled my eyes playfully, whispering and practically begging him to slide his fingers inside me, moaning when he complied, and arching my back as soon as the tip of his tongue followed.

.Part Five.
So you're selfish, and I'm sorry.
Natalie's POV
After checking into another hotel, everyone decided to meet up at the bar for a few drinks. Yeah well I wasn't in the mood. I was jetlagged, and still salty about the way Mike treated me on the plane, so all I wanted to do was take a hot shower and climb in between the sheets.
“Hey Nat. Are you coming with us? I'm going to our room to change and then we're all going out.” Taylor grinned at me as we boarded the elevator. 'We' as in Her, William, Sisky and I. I shook my head.
“I don't think so guys. I'm really tired. I didn't sleep well on the plane.”
Sisky frowned. “Aww, none of us slept well but we're still going! Come on Nat, just for a-”
He was interrupted by someone's hand being shoved in between the elevator doors, and them opening again.
“Hey, um everyone.”
I looked up and noticed Ryan Ross, the guitarist from PATD boarding the elevator wheeling his suitcase behind him.
“Ryan!” Sisky and William cheered. I offered up little more than a small smile, then turned back to face front, relieved they now had someone else to corrupt. Bill introduced us all anyway. Taylor as 'Their merch girl', and myself as 'Their personal stylist'. I laughed because I hadn't even had a hand in his or any other member of the band's hair yet.
The three guys made small talk until we got to the out floor. Taylor grabbed my arm and I almost dragged her down the opposite corridor.
“Hey, Taylor, try and get Nat to come out huh? We'll see you guys later.” Bill winked at her and headed into the other direction.
“No.” I sighed, sitting down on the bed and lifting my suitcase up to find my pajamas.
“Oh, c'mon, Nat. What is the real reason you don't wanna go?” She shut the door behind us and nearly dived into her suitcase. I guess to find her outift for the night. Well there was only one outfit I wanted.
“Because I'm tired and to be honest, I don't want to hang around those assholes when they aren't paying me...” I trailed off and yanked a gown and my toiletries out with a scowl.
She turned toward me and stared a second before replying. “You could always have said no, you know? But you didn't, and you could at least enjoy it.” She collected her outfit, paused and smirked. “Besides, TAI aren't the only ones going... those cute little kids from panic will be attending too.”
I rolled my eyes. “Not interested. But have fun. The one from the elevator looks right up your alley. As long as Bill doesn't catch you doing shit.”
“One sugar daddy at a time. I might consider joining Panic on tour next time, but what I have now is enough.” She giggled. “And what do you mean by that anyways?”
“What do you mean what do I mean?” I shrugged and pulled my hair down, combing it with my fingers. “He looks like your type. And no, I didn't you notice you staring at him on the way up. So don't worry.”
“I was trying to be nice! After all I was introduced as ‘the merch girl’. William deserves a lesson for it.” Tate smirked.
I sighed. “Yeah well just watch your back, and have a drink for me.”
She fell beside me on the bed then. I knew she wasn't going to give up that easily. “C'mon Nataliiiieeeee. You can't just lock yourself up in here. Come on out, or I'll be kicking your ass back to the States in the morning.”
I gave her another hard sigh. I REALLY wasn't in the mood to socialize. Too much on my mind, I really didn't think I should go shitting up everyone else's good time.
“Taylor... I'm just... Don't want to fuck up anyone else's good time, ok?”
“And if I pout?” She began to pout overdramatically then. “Pweeeease? Pretty, pretty, pwease??”
“Oh my god!!” I groaned. “Fine, fine. But I'm not promising to be nice.”
She grinned at my answer.
“I knew that would work!” She giggled, kissing my forehead and hopping up and into the small bathroom to shower. I groaned again and threw my nightgown down, digging into my suitcase again not looking forward to this little outing at all.
Deciding on a plain pair of low-rise jeans, sneakers and a cute top I showered and dressed after Taylor was finished. I was wrapping up the blowdrying of my hair in the bathroom mirror while she applied her make up when there was a fierce beating at the door. “That would probably be for you.” I said, rolling my eyes yet again.
“Us, we're both going.” She went to open the door, and I heard her giggle. “Oh I see, it's for us both, Nat!!” Curiosity got the better of me and so I peeked around the corner to see her let Bill and Mike into our room. I was furious that the sight of his face could manage to get me so upset. Literally, I was biting down on my lip as hard as I could to keep from saying something I couldn't control.
“Like I said,” I muttered under my breath. “It's for you.” I heard the sound of a wet kiss being shared and then Bill asking if we were ready. Taylor's voice got low as she answered him. “I can still hear you!” I called out to her, using a little pomade to slick my hair down straight.
Taylor chuckled. “Just a minute... you tagging along?” I heard her ask.
“No. And neither is Nat...” Mike replied.
William chuckled.
Wait... what?
I screwed up my face and entered the bedroom, hands on my hips. “Wait, what's going on here?”
“You're not going,” He shrugged. “I'm not going out with the guys and neither are you. I mean, I came cause I knew you wouldn't be going.” He smirked and I wanted to knock the cocky grin clear off of his face. Taylor had the same sediment obviously, because Bill was now holding her arms.
“Easy, honey.”
I just laughed if I hadn't been on board for going out before, I was definitelyi] on board now. “That's really funny. You can't tell me what I'm going to do. I'm not on your payroll right now.” I rolled my eyes at him condescendingly and dapped on a hint of gloss.
“What if I ask you to stay then?” Mike smiled, which only seemed to piss Taylor off worse.
“Oh, I'm going to get him... I’m going to get him...” She fumed.
“I think we better let them talk about that.” Bill said, as he started pulling her towards the door.
“No way, Nat is coming with [/us.”
“That's right. Sorry Carden. I have plans that I don't intend to break.” I took out my favorite earrings and slid them on, brushing past him on my way towards the door.
Taylor glared at him.
“Well can we at least talk?” Mike added, grabbing my wrist painfully and raising an eyebrow.
“You should have talked to me on the 9 hour flight that you didn't utter a single word on.” I yanked my wrist away and staggered backward.
“Tay, honey. That won't help anything.” Bill's soft voice soothed.
“Shut up...” She glared at William and then turned to me. “I'll be outside, shout if you need help.”
“No, I'm coming now. Anything Mike has to say can wait.” I glared at him a little and turned back towards Tay and Bill.
Taylor smiled widely and linked her arm with mine. “Great! Let's go have some fun.”
“And what did I do?” Bill asked, watching us walk away.
I snorted and stared back at Mike just as hard as he was glaring at me. “You're siding with Mike for starters. And I'm only going out because Taylor asked me. So that's like, fucking up her fun...”
William groaned and followed us. “Taylor!” He whined making Taylor chuckle.
“Like a trained puppy.” I giggled, whispering.
She laughed, and I told her to go have a talk with him and I'd meet them in the lobby. While they headed in the opposite direction, I took one last look towards our room where we'd left Mike, paused for a second, then sighed, finally pushing the button for the elevator.
.~
Taylor’s POV
I rolled my eyes at Natalie, but I turned around anyways and followed William’s puppy face a little further into the corridor while Nat waited for the elevator.
“What did I do?” He asked again.
“Nat answered you, honey.” I said leaning on the wall. “And it kind of made me uncomfortable after I was presented as ‘Merch’, you know?” William groaned.
“I can't believe you took that personally! Newsflash, honey... you ARE the merch girl.”
“Really? After spending 4 hours a day for 5 fucking months fixing and selling shit it hadn’t struck me.” I said as calm as I could, otherwise, we’d be in trouble. “I have a name, unless you forgot it somewhere in between the plane ride and here. Cause sure you said it a lot.”
“I said your name!” He tried to defend himself, and groaned again at my skeptic face. “Okay I’m obviously missing something. Really, what is this about?”
“You know what? Whatever. We’re going to be late and Sisky gets annoying when we are.” I sighed and shook my head, walking back to the elevator where Nat disappeared not long before. William followed me a second later, sighing.
“Fine. Let's forget about it. I already have.” He said pushing the elevator button.
“Awesome…” I replied expressionless, watching the little lights turn on and off till the doors opened. William sighed in defeat and followed me into the elevator.
“Okay, Taylor…”
Once we reached the first floor I automatically looked for Nat, but instead I found the “cute Panic boy” from earlier and smiled instantly. Ryan Ross. He’s just so adorable I couldn’t help smiling… which was odd enough, seeing I barely smile.
“Finally! I was about to storm into your room and drag you out!” Sisky greeted us, clearly not noticing the tension between us. I smirked and shook my head, falling besides Natalie on the lobby’s couch.
“Oh, shut up.” I heard William say before he dragged Adam to the little gang composed by some crew guys, more Panic and Chislett.
Nat looked at them and then at me. “What happened to him?”
“Nothing.” I replied. “And that might be the problem.” I added with a chuckle, making Nat roll her eyes.
“Sounds like the two of you could stand some time apart anyhow.”
I just rolled my eyes at the comment; I couldn’t say anything because the guys waved at us, letting us know the van was ready. The ride was fast and silent, except for some random music the radio was playing. By the time we got there, William’s eyes were drilling holes on the side of my skull, but I was determined to not let him see his hold on me. I wasn’t ignoring him, but I wasn’t all over him either. Instead I started a nice conversation with Ryan and Jon Walker, while Nat and Brendon Urie showed off the best of their ADHD.
“I’m going out for a smoke, be right back.” I excused myself above the giggles, checking on fairly drunk and glaring William.
As I stepped outside I welcomed the fresh air on my cheeks and lit up a smoke. I hadn’t quite enjoyed the first drag when a lanky figure slumped on the wall beside me, pulling the smokes out of his pocket and taking my smoke from my lips to light his own.
“I was smoking that in case you didn’t notice.” I said plainly.
“I realized. That’s why I did it.” William slurred giving me my smoke back. “Saw you having a good time in there.”
“It was entertaining…” I said like I didn’t catch the jealousy of his tone. “Are you having a good time?”
“Yes… No…” He blew out smoke when I looked at him, eyebrow raised.
“Alright then…” I chuckled, taking another drag. William sighed and flicked the smoke to the ground.
“Are we okay?” He asked, burying his hands on his pockets.
“Why wouldn’t we be?” I questioned uninterested.
“Just asking, you’ve been pretty much ignoring me since we left the hotel.” He mumbled the last part. I chuckled slightly.
“And in which part of my contract does it say that I have to be hanging from your neck the whole tour? I’m the merch girl, remember?” I said throwing the smoke to the ground and smashing it with my foot.
“I don’t have to remind you who made you have that contract though…” He said biting the words. Now I was pissed.
“You’re going there?” I said bitterly, crossing my arms and glaring at him. “You know why I’ve been ignoring you? So you can realize that I’m here and I agreed to this cause I wanted to. I don’t need the money or the job and certainly don’t need you to get me either of those.” By this time I was poking his chest with my index finger. “So you better remember that before acting like you own me.”
“What? I don’t act like I own you!” He said glaring down at me. Him and his 6 extra inches… “You knew what the rules would be before you agreed to this. We don’t flaunt our relationship. We don’t talk about Christine. What was I supposed to tell him?”
“You weren’t ‘supposed’ to tell him anything! Just--” I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down and rubbed my eye. “I know we don’t talk about our relationship, I know exactly why I’m here and I’m fine playing by your rules, cause honestly I don’t give a fuck. I have nothing to lose. I just want you to know that this…” I stopped to point him and then me. “…goes both ways. This doesn’t happen only because you want, it does because we both do. So the day I don’t want it, I’ll just pack my shit and leave.”
William sighed and looked at me biting his lip. “I get it. Now can we stop arguing about it? Please?” He said giving me the puppy eyes and stroking the back of my hand. “We came out to have a good time, and if your plans don't include me tonight... that's fine too.”
I was still kind of pissed, but I didn’t wanna fight. “Okay…” I said with a sigh. William squeezed my hand and pulled me closer.
“I hope they do include me later though.” He whispered on my ear. I rolled my eyes and backed away a little. “Only if you want…” He said quickly, as if I’d say no. “No pressure.”
“We’ll see.” I said plainly before releasing his hand. “You have your own room?”
“No, I’m pairing with Mike, but I can kick him out.” He said stuffing his hands into his pockets and getting another smoke. He offered me the box as I blinked in realization.
“You ain’t sending him to my room. Are you?”
“Honestly? I don’t give a fuck if he sleeps in the lobby as long as I have the room for myself.” He said sipping smoke. “Though it isn’t a bad idea. Those two need to get things straight. Mike is driving me crazy…”
I smirked and raised an eyebrow. “Really? And why is that?”
“Oh, no.” William said smiling. “You’re not playing mind games with me. Cause I know the first thing you’ll do is telling Natalie. Mike is my friend and I won’t rat him out.”
“Okay.” I shrugged, knowing he wouldn’t tell me anything… yet. But with what he already said I knew I had to find Nat and tell her. Besides, it was kind of obvious that whatever I said I would end up in William’s room anyways, leaving Mike to either make peace and talk to Natalie or, sleep in the lobby. I smashed the cigarette with my foot and sighed, rubbing my arm. “I’m going back inside; I said I wouldn’t be long…” I stepped on my tiptoes and kissed William cheek before he had a chance to ask. “I’ll let you know…”
I patted his face gently and made my way back inside and to the table where everyone was. Natalie wasn’t there, but it didn’t take me long to find her, dancing with Brendon Urie in the middle of the dance floor.

.Part Four.
*Natalie’s POV*
Taylor was more than excited when I told her I would be tagging along to Australia and laughed when I told her an hour before we were leaving that it was Mike’s idea.
“Looks like you’ve won yourself a fuck buddy, girlfriend.” She laughed, sipping from a coke can as we packed.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. “Yeah, well, I don’t know if I can do that.”
“Yeah, you’re right. You’re too emotional for shit like that. You’d be in love and sobbing on my pillow within two weeks.” She took another gulp from her can and I sighed again. A very brash way to put it, but she was right, and I knew it.
I was setting myself up for failure.
“Shit.“ I said, raising my hand to my forehead, I rubbed it slowly in a circular motion while Taylor watched me. A light tapping at the hotel room door broke uncomfortable silence.
“Hold that thought,” Taylor said, getting up off the bed to answer. “Well hello, Tony.” She chuckled.
“Hey girls, I just wanted to let you know you’ve got twenty minutes to meet in the lobby or you’ll be hitchhiking to LAX, ok?”
“See you in twenty.” Tate giggled, and shut the door. “Hear that? You’ve only got twenty minutes to make your mind up Nat. I could always lie and say you had a family emergency…”
“No. I’m going. I signed up for this, and I’m not going to bail on Tony last minute.” I explained with a shake of my head.
I’d always wanted to go to Australia. Besides, anything was better than sitting alone in my apartment with nothing to do. Maybe I would end up so busy I’d have no time to spend with Mike. Or at least hope it would be like it had been for the last week, with the both of us sort of avoiding being alone with each other.
Taylor and I finished packing and grabbed our suitcases, dragging them into the elevator and into the lobby. I stuck close by her while she flirted/giggled/played phone tag with William, who was only a few feet away.
I rolled my eyes and looked away from them, eyes falling now on Mike, who was seated in one of the chairs across from the concierge desk. He looked deep in thought, staring straight ahead and biting down on his lip. He clasped his hands together, rubbing them against one another almost nervously. I watched him for another minute inconspicuously until Taylor was calling me back over.
“Oh my god, Nat look,” She giggled, holding her phone in front of my face. I smirked when I read the text William sent her. Something about joining the mile high club and showing her his cockpit. What the hell? I sighed and looked up and over to Bill, who was smirking in our direction.
“Freaks.” I snorted, shaking my head at him. He smirked back and nodded his head in Mike’s direction, then looked back at me and grinned. My jaw dropped and I turned around to give Taylor the evil eye and a small piece of my mind.
“Do you honestly think I wasn’t going to tell him?” She said suddenly without even looking up from her bag.
I sighed deeply and rubbed my forehead. “That’s not the point. You might as well tell everyone here while you’re at it!”
“Relax, Bill isn’t telling anything. Trust me. He doesn’t want me pissed at him.” Taylor dropped her hand into her purse once more and brought up a pack of cigarettes. “Thank fuck!” She exclaimed and grabbed my arm with a cool, slim hand.
Taylor dragged me past the circle of boys, making SURE she pulled me through Mike’s line of vision. His eyes caught mine as she pulled me by the wrist, knocking into his knees, and I’m quite fucking certain she did
that
on purpose. Mike and I locked eyes, and a small smile played on his lips as I blushed profusely. I love the girl but Taylor always found a way to embarrass the shit out of me. I felt him watching us the whole way out of the lobby doors and into the warm morning air. My breath hitched, as the temperature was a drastic change from the cool comfort of the hotel.
“Fuck you Tate. You did that shit on purpose.” I scowled, folding my arms across my chest. She just smiled and lit her cig, taking a deep, hard drag and blowing out the smoke before answering.
“Because this is stupid. You were bold enough to fuck, but you can’t talk to each other? It’s so obvious you want to.
Both
of you.” She shrugged and tapped the ash off the end with her finger before taking another hard drag. I sighed again, knowing full well she was right. I had to talk to him to set things straight. I rubbed my forehead again and bit my lip.
“Go already, before I tell Bill to send him out.” Taylor gave me a cocky smile and I rolled my eyes.
“Fine, fine. Don’t sic your puppy on me.” I giggled and avoided a slap to the head, and going back into the hotel lobby. The bands and crews were all in the same place I left them, including Bill and Mike. I headed in his direction, but as soon as I moved around the pillar to see him better, I realized that he was sitting there with Gabe standing next to him, both of them laughing. I froze up, gnawing at my lip and playing it off like I was heading to the bathroom.
“Hey! Nat!
Mamacita
, where are you going?” Gabe called out. I chuckled, and replied,
“Be right back.” Without turning around because I knew he was watching.
Once inside the ladies room I leaned against the marble counter and stared into the mirror. “What to do,” I asked myself, “What the fuck to do?” I couldn’t understand why the thought of being close to him had me so nervous. My hands were shaking and my bottom lip in urgent need of some blistex. I stuck my hand into my pocket and pulled out my lip gloss and added a small amount to my lips, rubbing them together. Pushing back my hair with my hand, I realized I could use a little eyeliner too. I cursed and opened up my carry-on.
With another slew of curses, I dug around in the bag. I didn’t understand how a single fucking little stick managed to get away from me ALL THE TIME. I’m usually good with keeping up with my shit. Except my eyeliner pencils. I sighed and was for sure about to give up when something told me to dig again. This time I found it on the first try.
Beaming from my small victory, I looked up into the mirror and jumped at the reflection. Mike was standing behind me, watching me with an amused look on his face. We stared at each other in the mirror quietly until I cleared my throat and began applying my eyeliner like nothing was out of sort there.
“So um, what are you doing in the
ladies
room Mike?” My voice sounded fine, but inside I was jittery as hell and I tried to steady my hand long enough to finish without poking my goddamn eye out.
“It looked like you needed someone to talk to, and uh, a little birdie might have told me that you wanted that someone to be me…” He trailed off and held up his phone for me too see.
“Goddamn her…” I whispered, sucking my teeth in annoyance.
“What?” Mike smiled.
I sighed. “I dunno… I guess I did need to talk to you,” I finished up in the mirror and tossed the eyeliner pencil back into the bag, knowing full well I would regret it later. I felt Mike edging closer to me as I re-zipped the bag.
“About?” He whispered into my ear.
I trembled as the denim from his jeans lightly brushed against the exposed skin of my legs below my thighs and then winced, sure he had seen it.
“T-this,” I stuttered, inching away. “It’s not… my thing, Mike.”
“Oh, and it’s supposed to be
my
thing?” He teased, voice low and deep.
I shook my head. “No, I just think that… I dunno, I didn’t know it was supposed to be a “regular” thing…”
The corners of his mouth turned up and his eyes lit up, definitely amused by my obvious unwillingness to give in to myself.
He touched my arm and I’m sure I felt a warm jolt of electricity surge through my body from head to toe. The room was cold but my face and head felt like it was on fire.
“But I want it to be a regular thing Nat…” He was breathing against my neck and talking in this very , very, sexy voice. My legs nearly gave out on me as he pressed his body closer, now nibbling on my earlobe and sliding his hands to my waist. I looked up at him through the mirror and he was smirking again. He knew I wasn’t going to talk my way out of this. Hell,
I
could even
see the lust and need in my own eyes.
I moaned softly when he pulled be back against him, stroking my thighs and the bottom of my skirt. “And we only have ten minutes to celebrate you saying you want it as bad as I do. Do you?”
I could only nod as words got choked up inside my throat and Mike had me turned to face him with lightening speed, sucking my neck softly, alternating sides, and trapping me by putting an arm against the counter around me. I whimpered as our lips clashed, finally, mouths parting slightly and tongues wet and searching.
Strong arms lifted my hips and placed me on the counter and I hoped to the heavens that no little old ladies walked in on us as Mike’s fingers nimbly crept up my skirt. “Fuck,” He hissed, pushing my panties to the side roughly and sliding one of his fingers inside me. “Who were you kidding? You’re fucking wet as a waterfall.” He smirked, which he did a lot, and licked and sucked at my ear again, pumping his finger, and then a second, twisting them deeper within.
I shrieked a little louder than I thought I had and he covered my mouth with his, kissing me roughly while I heard his belt jingling. Mike pulled himself free with ease and was soon pushing the tip of his aching hard on against my opening. I scooted my ass toward him, egging him on, but he just prodded and poked, kissing me here and there, sucking my collarbone and earning himself several frustrated grunts and groans.
“Ten minutes…” I growled at him.
He giggled. Yes, Mike
giggled
, and pressed into me while I moaned softly in his ear, wrapping my arms around his head, smoothing back hair from his face and jerking my body against his as he thrust into me steadily. I don’t even remember how long we stayed in there. Though it couldn’t have been more than a few minutes, all I know is the way I came. Oh my god the way I came. I’m sure I lost a few brain cells or
something
. I came so hard I swear I saw stars and shit.
I’m getting all flustered just re-thinking about it right now
.
Anyway, Mike clutched my ass, lifting me off the counter completely as he pounded, whining into my neck as he reached his own orgasm. I held on tight as fuck until I just couldn’t anymore, sliding down his body and resting my trembling legs on solid ground.
We both stood there for a minute, dressing hastily and breathing hard and deep. I didn’t know what the hell to say, but I knew as long as he was in there with me, I wouldn’t get my ass left.
Mike nodded towards the door, biting his fingernails. “Go ahead. I’ll wait.” He said, then cleared his throat.
I smiled and nodded, smoothing down my skirt and combing my hair with my fingers. I washed my hands and picked up my bag, heading for the door when he stopped me.
“Nat, wait…”
I swung around and he was right there, grabbing my face in his hands and kissing me hard and deep, caressing my tongue with his own, then puckered up and kissed me once more, smirking and letting me go.
I chuckled and backed away, peeking out of the door and escaping while everyone was out of sight.
I took another minute to gather myself, legs still weak. I watched my feet, and suddenly looked up, looking into Taylor’s knowing eyes. I groaned and rolled my eyes, but couldn’t help smiling at my friend.
“What?”
“What do you mean what? Finally! I’m about to piss myself!”
All I could do was giggle as she rounded the corner. “Wait, wait Taylor wait!” I followed her. But it was too late. As soon as she reached her hand out to open the door, Mike came out of it. Taylor looked up to make sure she had the right door, and when she did… A HUGE smile spread across her face. Like the grinch.

.Part 3.
“Psst, Nat! Hey, wake up!”
Nat groaned and turned over, covering her face at the intrusion of light as she was shaken lightly from her sleep.
“Oh my god, what?” She blinked.
“It’s time to get up, come on, let’s get out of here.”
Natalie blinked a few more times and stretched her eyes. “Tate? How did you know it was me in here?”
Taylor sighed. “I went into panic mode when I couldn’t find you on the crew bus after we stopped. I ran into Mike and Butcher, who, after pretending to not know where you were, privately told me that I should check inside his bunk. Seriously Nat what the fuck are you doing in here,” She pulled the sheet down, revealing her friend topless. “and fucking naked? The guy is an asshole!”
Nat frowned, too proud to admit that her feelings were hurt, and felt around for the clothes she’d been wearing last night. After Taylor told her no one else was on the bus but the two of them, she climbed down and redressed. She couldn’t believe what was happening, and that after last night he’d just left her there alone. And to top it all off, her ankle
did
still hurt.
She explained to Taylor what happened the night before, telling her about how well she and Mike got along and how almost sweet he was when they were alone together, Taylor laughed like hell, then cursed and threatened to tell Bill how big of an ass his band mate was, but swore in the end she wouldn’t say anything else about it
ever
. Then they got the fuck out of that bus.
The boys got to their tent after their show, all of them in high spirits, but Nat made sure to avoid Mike altogether. When she handed out their drinks, she gave Chislett an extra one to hand him instead of doing it herself, and made extra effort not to so much as glance his way.
Obviously, he was doing the same. The cocky bastard even had the gall to joke, laughing loudly at times and it just pissed Nat off. She rolled her eyes and huffed as she handed out t-shirts and buttons, and thought for sure she was in for it when Tony called her over from his position at Bill’s side.
“Yeah, what’s up Tony?” She asked, swallowing her anger for the moment.
“Hey there’s something I wanted to ask you Nat,”
She held her breath. ‘Oh shit, here we go,’
“Would you like to go on the fall tour with us? I mean, I don’t know if you need to talk to anyone or something, but, we’ll be leaving immediately after warped ends…”
Nat let out a deep breath, relief mostly. “Really? Wow that would be great actually! So yes, I will. Thank you Tony, thank you so much.”
Tony put his hands up. “Hey no need to thank
me
, thank that guy,” He pointed towards Mike, who was sneaking glances at them. “He’s the one who dragged me out of bed this morning for breakfast and told me you have a barber’s license or some shit. Seriously he wouldn’t shut up. He nagged me for an hour! I just figured I’d ask you first if you wanted to sell merch
and
cut hair for the rest of the year.”
Jaw dropped, she looked back over at Mike, who smiled, and gave her a wink before turning his attention back to his devoted fans.
Maybe he wasn’t such an asshole after all.

.Part 2.
“Hey,”
Nat sighed at the sound of his voice, and had no choice but to slow down. “You don’t have to bother walking me, you know. I’m fine.”
“I don’t
have
to do anything, but we’re going the same way, so…”
Nat could just hear the sarcastic little smirk crossing his face while he said it, and she sighed again but didn’t reply. They walked in silence and he even placed a hand on the small of her back, guiding her through the crowd of bands and other crew members heading into their motorized havens. She couldn’t lie, it felt great in her intoxicated state.
“I didn’t think you liked me too much, to be honest.” She said.
“What did you say?” He asked, leaning down into her ear, sliding his arm around her waist as he did.
“I said, I didn’t think you liked me too much. I think this is the most we’ve talked during the whole tour…”
“Yeah, I’m… not very,“ He trailed off, “Sorry I hit you earlier.” He mumbled, shrugging.
“Wait, you hit me? Ohhh. The bumping thing… Earlier. it’s okay. I figured it was an accident.”
The pair continued to walk in silence, and Nat began to glance around feigning interest to escape the awkwardness and ended up tripping over something in her path. She squealed as she went down, so fast that she didn’t even realize it was happening. Mike cursed and helped Nat up, supporting her by wrapping her arms around his neck. He asked if she was okay, and she laughed. Mike looked at her strangely for a second.
“Oh my god, I am so awkward. I’m sorry.” She giggled at herself.
“Don’t be. Looks like you might have sprained it. Let’s see if you can stand.” He replied, helping her to her feet. Nat scrunched her face in pain even though she’d tried not to, and tried to apply weight to her hurt ankle. Without warning, Mike swept her up in his arms and carried her the rest of the way.
They headed first to the crew bus, but found it empty. Not wanting to leave her alone, he walked up to the band’s bus, punching in the code quickly and going inside. Mike set Nat down on the couch and sat beside her, saying he needed to check her ankle out. It was a little swollen, as he thought it would be, but reassured her is would be fine by the time of the next show. She sighed, leaning her head back as he gently massaged her ankle, offering to get her an ice pack. Natalie refused, afraid that it might be too cold, but Mike insisted that he would cover and wrap the pack before putting it on her foot.
After doing so, he attentively examined her, pulling her foot into his lap.
Nat was still a little tipsy, but she was sure she felt a tingly sensation go through her body whenever he touched her gently. Suddenly he cleared his throat and allowed his hand to travel a little higher, caressing her leg, ankle, and foot.
“Oh my god, Mike. Tickles.” She giggled, making him smile.
They locked eyes and drew closer. Nat tensed, one, because she knew he was going to kiss her. Two, because she was sure she was going to enjoy it. That’s when they heard the raunchy hoarse whispers and moans coming from the back of the bus. Nat smirked, knowing undoubtedly that William and Taylor were back there getting their freak on.
“Oh my fucking,” Mike groaned, making Nat laugh out loud. He covered his face with one hand and supported her leg on his lap with the other.
She thought it was adorable.
“And here I was thinking you were a hardass, Carden.” She giggled again.
“I
am
. And if you tell anyone else any different, I’ll tickle you to death.” He replied, holding her down and gently grazing the bottom of her foot.
“Okay, okay, I’ll keep my mouth shut!”
Natalie pulled herself up and Mike unexpectedly pulled her closer and kissing her softly. She shivered as their lips brushed and the kiss deepened. His arm moved to her waist, and hers to his hair, losing themselves swiftly. Nat barely gasped as she realized those hands of his were moving
elsewhere
. Not that she minded, in fact, she was almost certain she wanted to go where this was going a whole lot more than he did. He was such a dick sometimes, but that was honestly her favorite part about him. He cupped her backside, squeezing lightly, while she wrapped her arms around his neck without a care in the world. The louder William and Taylor got, the more urgent she and Mike became.
“Mike,” She whispered against his neck, nibbling and licking seductively, but stopped abruptly.
“Yeah?” He grunted breathlessly, pressing his body up against hers.
“The fuck are you doing?”
He was up and off of her in record time, holding his hands up and apologizing profusely.
Nat began to laugh. “Jay Kay, Santi.” She said, flashing him a brilliant smile. Mike groaned and rolled his eyes, yanking her back into his lap again.
At that moment Taylor managed to groan really loud, and Mike smirked against Nat’s lips. “Damn Bilvy.”
“I want, I want it. Whatever she’s having. Plus two. Or four.”
“Four? Really?”
Natalie nodded and kissed him hard and deep, swirling their tongues together, hand roaming. Nat slid her hands up the back of Mike’s shirt, hands cool and soft against his curves. They stopped only when they heard voices at the buses’ door, and only long enough for Mike to swoop her up and slide into his top bunk, pulling the curtain closed and ridding them both of their shirts.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck. The jeans are going to be so much fucking trouble.” They both giggled at the ridiculousness of their situation, but were both determined not to let the circumstances interfere with their plans. “Okay… okay, I’ll climb out, and get undressed right? And then while I’m out there getting undressed, you get undressed in here, and then…”
“And then?”
“Then I’d give you what she’s having. Times four.” Mike laughed evilly and kissed Nat one more time before sliding out, yanking shut the privacy curtain behind him.
When she was sure she heard him walk away, Nat hurriedly pushed her jeans down her hips and kicked them off in the small space, pushing them close to the wall. She shrugged and did the same with her panties and bra, then pulled the sheets up to her chest. They were cool and smelled fresh, like some brand of guy’s body wash she was sure she’d smelled before. Taylor had calmed down considerably, but there were now a few hushed voices whispering near the bunks, one she recognized as Tony, TAI’s tour manager. She held her breath, until the curtain rustled, and Carden climbed back inside, sans pants.
“Welcome back.” She smiled as he lunged for her, sucking her neck hard and leaving a few nibbles here and there. She decided to let him find out for himself that she’d gotten completely naked between his sheets, and his eyes widened when he did, cupping and squeezing her breasts while Nat breathed in and out deeply. She moaned his name and bucked her hips in longing. Mike didn’t hesitate shoving his own boxer briefs down his hips, kissing Nat heatedly. She groaned in protest when he pulled away, but was soon dropping her head back in pleasure as his fingers teased her middle, and his tongue laved her nipples one at a time. He sucked them slowly, tortuously almost, teasing and making her wet. Nat whimpered, causing Mike to drag his right index finger up and press it to her lips.
“Shh,” He whispered, and she licked the tip of his finger, sucking it into her mouth. She slid her hand down between them, anxious to get the show on the road, when he licked and sucked her nipples and skin between her breasts, pushing the finger she sucked inside her, moving it in and out. Nat’s hips raised, and she groaned. Mike immediately covered her mouth with his, muffling the sounds as he added another finger, sliding them deeper, stretching her. She was wet as hell and it was making him anxious to bury himself into her warmth. Nat felt his hips jerk and kissed him harder, fingers grazing an impressive erection.
“Condoms?” She growled impatiently, more of a demand than question.
Mike nodded and scraped his teeth against her bottom lip, withdrawing his fingers and wriggling free of his boxer briefs, getting out one of the Trojan magnums he’d brought back with him. He slid the rubber on carefully, making Natalie’s heart flutter when she saw the gold packaging fall and land beside them. She realized that wrapper could only mean two things. One, it fit perfectly, which was exciting, and two, it didn’t, meaning he’d grabbed the first thing he saw and she would have to worry the whole time about it slipping off.
She moaned in pleasure as Mike nudged against her moist folds, pressing against her opening, arching her back as he moved inside. The condom definitely fit.
The two of them groaned together, and Nat heard Tony’s muffled laughter.
“Okay, who snuck a girl in here? Who’s getting laid?”
“Beckett?” The Butcher commented, the automatic galley door opening.
“Besides Beckett. You know he claims the back lounge.”
Mike smiled and shook his head, melting into another long kiss, Nat’s fingers digging into his bare skin. He’d craved her for months, and spent the whole tour waiting to make a move. Everything about her was alluring, the way her warm brown eyes rolled into her head, the kissable smoothness of her caramel latte colored skin, her full lips and the way she kissed him, how crazy turned on she got when he touched her, even though she pretended she hated him.
“Turn over.” He whispered into her ear hotly, turning onto his side.
“What?”
He only nodded and make a turning motion with his finger. Nat leaned up and kissed him, turning onto her stomach. Mike was elated by her enthusiasm. He trailed his hands up and down her back, massaging her and cupping her bare cheeks. She moaned into the pillow as she realized his intentions, spreading her legs as much as she could to accommodate. He licked and sucked the back of her neck, pushing back inside her from behind.
“Oh fuck, Mike!” She gasped loudly, unable to control herself.
Teasing laughter came from outside of the bunk. “Oh shit, Carden?”
Mike rolled his eyes and sped up his motion, pressing Nat into the bunk, creating delicious friction against her clit. She grew uncontrollably louder, and he didn’t bother trying to quiet her.
Hell, they
knew
, and besides, it was amazing to hear.
He let out a groan himself as he pounded in and out and she pushed her ass back against him.
“Fuck, I’m gonna cum,” She shouted, thrashing her body beneath him. He nibbled her ear and she panted, groaning and moaning, tensing and coming hard.
A round of applause sounded through the rest of the bus, and Mike almost giggled, but realized once he heard “Walk of shame” over and over from Sisky that they were clapping for William and Taylor.
It didn’t take long for the tight feeling in his gut to arise, making him slow his thrusting as Natalie panted, trying in vain to calm herself and catch her breath. She almost lost her shit when he leaned over and began talking dirty in her ear with that fucking voice of his. She pushed back against him and before long he was shaking and grunting deep from the back of his throat he erupted suddenly, triggering another loud, hard orgasm for her.
They separated, making out again with their limbs entangled.
“Ankle still hurt?” He asked, dragging lips across her jaw.
“Not at all,” She replied.
“Good. I’ve gotta go and um, take care of this.”
Nat nodded and helped him dig around the bunk for his shorts. Once he found them and got them on, he promised that he’d keep her hidden and that he’d be right back. More applause could be heard outside and she chuckled, cuddling his pillow. She listened to the conversation already unfolding in the lounge.
“So who is it Mike? Who you got up there?” Sisky teased.
“No one. She’s sleeping, leave her alone. Seriously.”
“Ooohh.”
“Well, at least it’s a ‘she’!” Tony joked, causing everyone to burst out laughing again. Nat listened to them talking for a while until the bus motion and the whirring of the tires on the highway soothed her to sleep.

.Part 1.
The last week of warped tour is always the hardest. You spend a whole two months getting to know and being used to seeing the same strangers everyday and when it comes time to move on, well, you’re bound to get a little upset about it. That’s the exact way Natalie felt as she stacked boxes onto the trailer behind Cobra Starship’s tent. She’d gotten along with everyone and made quite a few lasting impressions, but she certainly had no idea what she was going to do when the tour was over. Could she possibly go back home to her empty apartment and pretend to be looking for work while her father continued to pay the bills?
Nat sighed and pushed another box onto the dock for her merch partner, Taylor to push into place.
“Nat, hey Natalie! Did you hear anything I just said?”
“What?”
“Um, can you help me out here? Let those lazy ass bitches cover their own tent.
We
work over here. And I need you to pull me out a few more of those new shirts in size small,” Taylor pointed. Nat rolled her eyes and dropped the box she was carrying at her feet. Sure, Technically, Taylor was right, but she just felt obligated to watch out for the other girls. Absentmindedly she grabbed a bunch of shirts and turned to hand them to Taylor, who was now grinning creepily and swooning herself silly at the boys, or one boy in particular, when her chest came into contact with someone else’s, the impact swift and hard.
“Sorry,” She mumbled. The offended just grunted and pushed his way past her, leaving Nat fuming. ‘Okay, how fuckin’
rude
,’ She thought, looking over to see Mike Carden taking his seat at the table beside William. Taylor was standing beside him, laughing along with the band at the enthusiastic fan who was about to get his chest signed with her hand resting on William’s shoulder. There was no denying the way she felt for him. And everyone in their small camp knew the two of them, well, got it on while he was touring, he’d even gone so far as to get her under contract for the fall tour. That was definitely a job she would have loved to have, but one she didn’t want if she had to hop in the sack with any of these douche bags to get it.
With a shake of her head, Nat dropped the shirts into Taylor’s hand. She rolled her eyes at her friend, who smiled wider, and began handing the five guys now sitting at the table ice cold drinks, and was thanked by Chislett and Butcher in unison before turning to go back to loading boxes.
Later that evening, way past dark, Nat and Taylor sat on a few empty crates that lay abandoned near the bus parking lot. There was no show the following day, and the bands were celebrating with a huge almost block party, complete with thumping music and plenty of liquor.
“Where’s your sugar daddy?” Nat asked, holding her bottle by the neck and turning it up to take a sip.
“Pretty sure he’s on his bus showering or something,” Taylor replied, taking a long drag from her cigarette. “Why?”
“Ugh, nothing,” Nat wrinkled her nose. “So that means you aren’t ditching me yet.”
“Oh my god, Natalie. I think you’d be okay if I did. You’re a big girl now. You’ve been on this tour two months and you act like everyone here is a stranger.” She chuckled.
“Hell, they are! I don’t hang out with these guys. I feel way awkward sometimes.”
Both girls paused, taking gulps of their drinks.
“It’s all in your head sweetheart. Loosen up. Have some fun.”
“Yeah, okay Tate, I’ll get right on that.”
“Seriously Nat. Summer is about to be over. You’ll be back home sulking in your living room in another week. Just, live a little, that’s all I’m saying.” Taylor gave Nat another bright smile before spotting William beckoning her from the steps of his band’s bus. “…And, I’ll see you later.”
Nat just nodded as she was left her alone with her thoughts and her beer bottle. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed members of All Time Low and We The Kings about to engage in an epic game of freeze tag, VickyT walking her puppy, and Katie and Nicole, the Cobra merch girls, clinging to and dancing with a very relaxed looking Gabe. Nat laughed at his awkward dancing, trying desperately to keep up with the very energetic girls.
Gabe noticed Nat laughing and waved drunkenly, excused himself and wandered over.
“Hey girl, what the fuck are you doing over here all by yourself?” Gabe smiled crookedly.
“Chillin’.” She replied. “what’s up with you?”
Gabe waved in the direction of the other party-goers, who were still dancing away to the beat and grinned. “Getting fucked up and having a fuck of a time. I just wanted to come and see what’s up with you, and say thanks for covering for those two earlier. Taylor told me what happened.”
Nat groaned. “Of
course
she did,”
“She did,” Gabe nodded. “But what the fuck are you doing sitting alone here girlfriend, come on, come with me, let’s have some drinks.” Nat held up her beer bottle for him to see and chuckled. “No. I mean
real
drinks. C’mon.” He insisted, pulling the long-legged girl up by the arm and tugging her towards the Cobra bus.
Nat followed Gabe through the crowd and he asked her if she wanted to stop for a plate when they passed the barbeque pit. Natalie refused, even though something told her she should have eaten before getting on that bus.
Gabe opened the door and let her climb on board first. The air was thick with smoke, which could have been only
half
from cigarettes. The TV in the lounge area was blasting, as was the radio, and Nat recognized Danny, the cobra merch guy, along with Alex and Mike on the couch, arguing loudly over the video game they were playing. She was the only girl there, but felt strangely at ease. “Yo guys, yo, found us another alcoholic! Nat, I’m sure you know the rest of these assholes.” Gabe announced with bravado.
Natalie waved demurely at the rest of the guys and took a seat. They all greeted her, and spent the next few hours or so playing video games and making small talk, all except the one guy on the bus for whose band she busted her ass for everyday. Nat rolled her eyes in his direction, and nearly choked on her Jamison and coke when she found him looking right back at her. Needless to say, she bit her lip, embarrassed, and directed her attention elsewhere, immediately.
Unfortunately,
“What’s that look, Carden? I know you know who Nat is. Don’t you?” Alex asked, his voice slurred slightly.
“I guess,” Mike shrugged back to staring at the TV screen.
Nat grit her teeth as her glass was refilled and shook her head. She didn’t understand how he could be such an asshole,
all the time
.
“AWW, fuck you guys cheat!” Lipski shouted as he lost for the third time. The boys all broke out into drunken giggles.
“Oh, hey, hay let’s let Nat play. She’s one of the fellas tonight.” Gabe chuckled, tossing her his controller, while Lipski handed his over to Mike.
“Oooh, beauty versus the beast!” Alex exclaimed, making them all giggle again. Mike flipped him off and cracked his neck in preparation.
“Alright, let’s go.”
Nat raised an eyebrow and cocked her head at him in disbelief. She suddenly became very determined to beat the douche bag at his own game.
“Fine. Let‘s do this.” She replied, gulping down the contents of her cup and cracking her knuckles.
“Oooh, beauty is
fierce
!”
She cut another hard glance in Mike’s general direction, and caught him looking back at her, again. She found herself mesmerized by his eyes in spite of herself and only came to as she heard someone screaming at her to go. Mike had managed to distract her long enough to get ahead, making her realize that the look he gave her couldn’t have lasted as long as it did in her mind.
She recovered and put her game face back on, catching up easily, but in the end she lost anyway.
“Aww, the beast wins!” Alex cried, raising his arms like
he‘d
won.
Nat pouted at the smug look on Mike’s face, and Gabe noticed. “Aw, look at what you’ve done, Carden. What the fuck, how the fuck are you going to make this up to Nat, huh?” He fell over drunkenly onto the couch in between them both.
“Alright guys,” Lipski said coming back in and standing in front of the TV. It’s about time to pull out. And I hate to put you all out, but, when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go.” He shrugged.
Everyone groaned, but slowly began to move, clearly upset that their party was breaking up.
“Hey, I’ve got another idea, why don’t you walk Nat to her bus Mike Carden? Since her bus is right behind your bus, Mike Carden?” Gabe laughed.
Nat chuckled, shaking her head. “Stop. I can get back all by myself Gabe.”
“No problem. I can take her.” Mike spoke up at the same time. Nat looked over at him, but this time he wasn’t looking back.
“Great, because we’re SLOSHED!” Alex giggled.
“Night guys.” Nat said as she made her way toward the door. Last she saw, Mike had gotten up from his seat and Gabe grabbed his arm. She kept going. Maybe Gabe would hold him just long enough for her to get lost in the crowd.
Here is Natalie jsyk.
